To figure out my style, I googled "style quizzes"

According to this one I am High-End Glam (hah)

According to this one I am Modern Chic (that sounds a little more accurate).

According to this one my style is Posh (that was a crappy quiz)

According to this one my style is Trendy

So I don't really know.  I'll go with Modern Chic.  If I had to pick one store to shop at with no consideration of price point, I'd go with J. Crew.  On a normal day I wear skinny jeans, a cute top, and cute ballet flats.  To go out I'll wear skinny jeans, heels, and a dressier top - in the summer I'll wear a sun dress.  If I could I'd just wear dresses year round.  I'm not a huge boot fan - so I miss the south, where it's only boots weather for about 2 months!  And I love long statement necklaces, and simple earring studs.

That's more than anyone ever wanted to know about my style.

lol she's my SO's aunt. She is very um narrow minded and "perfect". You should see the arguments her and my SO have had on Facebook over religions and politics. She is a special one that's for sure.

Ugh I am so frustrated with my SO right now. He knew I made an appointment at 2 tomorrow for Grayson's haircut and we also have other stuff we need to do. He gets home from work today and tells me he made an appointment at 2:30 tomorrow to take the car to the dealership. Wtf man?? You knew we had plans. So now I get to call the salon in the morning to see if I can bring Grayson in earlier. I'm waking my SO up when Grayson wakes up so we can get our errands done. He doesn't get to sleep in tomorrow lol which sucks for him because he got a new video game yesterday so he'll be up late playing it. Men are so dang frustrating sometimes.

MIL Vent:
So we are flying to Detroit with the ILs from Thursday to Tuesday next week so that DH's extended family can meet LO. I think I am going to murder my MIL before we even go.
Let me start by saying that they are paying for most of the trip as our Christmas gift, so I am very aware that I have to keep smiling and saying thank you no matter what.
Anyways, to start we are staying at dh's great aunt's house which is pretty much the most un-baby proofed place imaginable. LO is sitting on our lap for the flights, which is fine, but it means he doesn't get to check a bag for free. We are the first in this generation to have a baby, so no one in the family has any baby things. My mil was convinced that aunt's neighbor's sister was a new grandma and we could borrow things from her. I've been begging her to check for months. This morning I got an email asking what model our pnp is to see if we can check it. That means that(of course) we can't borrow things from this mystery woman. Mil was also CONVINCED that the car place would have car seats we could rent. Again, asked her to check for months (because she wouldn't let me call them) and no, they don't rent anything rear facing. Do now we have to bring that too. They also rented a normal sedan. I just don't see how the 4 adults, car seat, stroller, pnp, and luggage are all going to fit, but she is so convinced they will. DH offered to pay for the upgrade, but they said no, this was our Xmas gift. I still don't know what we are going to do about a high chair. Probably just buy a booster out there, but that seems wasteful. It's just stressing me out that she left so many big things until so close to the trip to figure out.

I just can't with my SO today. I rescheduled Grayson's hair appt for 10:30 and he cant even get his ass out of bed to go with us. He's going to miss his first haircut because he decided to stay up late and play video games. We were supposed to have date night tonight and I don't even want to go anymore.

Colie, I know this is none of my business and not my place to say but it seems like your SO does shitty things a lot. Did you ever have that come to Jesus talk with him? I think you deserve the best and I don't know if you're getting that right now. Hope this doesn't offend you. Hugs!

Doesn't offend me at all. We had the come to Jesus talk. He said he was going to step up and that he wanted to be with me and that he wanted his family together. Things were great until he got this new video game. The last 2 days he hasn't helped out with Grayson at all and now he can't even get up to go with us. I might have to have his dad have a talk with him. I didn't want to drag him into it but I think he might need another dad perspective. I just don't know.

@ColieAnn31 - I'd be super pissed at SO for that one.  Definitely do (at least part of) what @kari5186 suggested and go treat yourself and have fun with LO!  I don't know if I can get behind taking his game (especially if he plays on Steam or something, then it's impossible to do) - I wouldn't want to deal with that shitstorm, and that sounds like it would create unnecessary conflict.  I hope his Dad's perspective helps!

@kari5186 well, this is news to me and it seems all the other mods are in the same boat.  We knew nothing of this.  From reading it over, it seems subjective on the swearing "no vile language."  I'm going to throw it out there - I don't consider a whole hell of a lot vile so from my perspective, you're all golden.  I'm all about intent.  If one of you is acting like an asshole, you'll hear from me.  I'm not worried because you guys are awesome.  I'll let you know if the mods are being forced to enforce things in a more specific manner.

H just texted me and asked where his bandana was.  My husband likes to wear a bandana sometimes...like a hat of sorts.  It doesn't look good and I have hid it from him in the past.  He wants to wear it to the gym.  I didn't hide it this time, but I sure as hell don't want him to find it.

Thank you everyone. Grayson and I went and got his hair cut and then we went to get me new bras and shorts. That fit!!! I can't wait to be able to dress nice again! Oh and I also got new underwear
