@subliminalrabbit The A1C test shows your blood sugar levels for the past three months so before you freak, let them explain to you what that means because it doesn't necessarily mean you're running high all the time.  It could be showing some random spikes.  You aren't overweight, which is the only factor you control.  You don't get it from eating sugar and you don't cause it by slacking on exercise.  If those two things were definite causes, most people would be screwed  IF you have it, it is far more a genetic issue than a lifestyle issue in your case.  But like I said, let them explain it to you and don't freak.

We have a sick baby here too. He slept awesome last night but woke up sounding like crud. Stuffy nose and nasty cough. Hopefully all these sick babies feel better soon!!

Something that it still awesome even after 3 years of University work: There's this completely insane crazy time in May of every year where I feel like a chicken with no head BUT then classes end and just like that, from one day to the next, everything is totally dead around here. It's awesome.

We are having LO's birthday at 5pm it's late but it works for his schedule. Also its really hot here in June so I am hoping it will be cooler at 5. We are serving hot dogs and hamburgers.

Sending lots of good vibes to @huckleberry08 - I've heard wonderful things about the difference that tubes make - hope LO has an easy procedure and a quick recovery!

Also, putting this here in case you guys hadn't seen it (I hadn't until today) - one of the Colonels in the space program did a recording of David Bowie's Space Oddity aboard the ISS.  It's the last day that it's going to be available - so might be worth a watch!  There's some cool views of Earth especially Earth at night :-)

Ladies, I think I need a drink tonight. DH has been gone since Saturday and will be gone til Saturday afternoon. J has been good, but it's just been a little tiring running around after her all day without DH here to relieve me for a bit. I love it, but I'm hoping once she goes to bed tonight I can have a few quiet mins to have a drink and maybe paint my nails.

I buy them at BRU. Theyre mixed in with the other Plum pouches.
