Hey everyone! I'm Anna...a southern girl from Arkansas (you'll see the word "y'all" in my posts from time to time)! I'm new here...just made my introduction last month. I'm 28, DH is 37. I teach kindergarten and he owns and operates a restaurant franchise. We've been married since July 2011 and actively TTC since March 2012. He has two teenaged sons from a previous marriage that live with us. I adore these boys and thank God for them daily. We also have a 5 pound yorkie and a 65 pound boxer!
I was diagnosed with PCOS two years ago and was started on clomid immediately. We have done LOTS of medicated cycles. Too many probably. Clomid then Femara. We had our first RE appointment last month. DH is scheduled for an SA this week. We are trying one last clomid (200mg) cycle this month with IUI. If we don't have success this time she will move us on to injectables.
I'm loving reading all of your stories! It's nice to have intros all in one place
Me (29) DH (37)
Married 7/11
Actively TTC 3/12
DX: PCOS
Current treatment: Break from IUIs until after the holidays
Hi, I stop in a few times a week as 3T was home board for years. I've pulled away the last six months and spend most time on ttcal and IF but this is always home.
Been ttc for five years almost which I think is now around 67 cycles. MFI and LPD and recently discovered nk cells. Five IUIs, one IVF and FET, and two losses -one cp one mmc. We'll be doing IVF 2 in early June.
I'm from the Chicago suburbs, 36, and madly in love with my husband and the Blackhawks. I like to read and hang with friends. I am a big IF advocate and an open book on our struggles.
Hello everyone...I'm TTC baby J. DH and I are both 36. We are from Southern California. We've been married for 2 years. I got off bc in Jan. 2013 after 18 years. I didn't start worrying until Aug. 2013 when I still hadn't had a regular cycle. I started seeing an RE in Sept. 2013. This is when I found out I have PCOS, and unicornuate uterus with only one tube and ovary. I had a lap done in Jan.2014 to remove 3 fibroids and RE discovered endo as well. I started on 1500 mg of metformin in November and finally ovulated on my own last cycle...no such luck this cycle. DH's first SA shows low morph and motility RE wants to repeat before we start Clomid. DH just repeated results just waiting for the results to see what our next move will be. I've been posting here since August. Great group of supportive ladies :x
Me: +35 DH: +35
TTC: Since January 2013
DX: PCOS. Severe Endometriosis, Unicornuate Uterus w/only left tube and left ovary, Pedunculated fibroid (on the outside of uterus) and Anovulation. All conditions diagnosed 8/13
TX: Metformin
DH DX: MFI - low morphology, low motility
Ultrasound shows both kidneys in spite of UU.
HSG showed clear tube on the left side.
Lap Surgery performed 1/9/14 to remove fibroid and endo (Stage 3)

This is a great idea @ronniesgirl1981. I'm a SG girl too, I live in southern MD.
I have hypothalamic amennorrhea plus potentially PCOS. I have done 2 failed injects cycles and just yesterday got my IVF protocol, so I guess we're onto that now.
Hi, I'm Leah, from NE PA. I'm with RMA Lehigh Valley also.
DH and I are both 36, started TTC in May 2012. I have Hashimoto's and PCOS and we have severe MFI (info in siggy). Currently benched while we figure out what the plan is for DH as I ovulate on my own. We have our appointment with Fert urology next week. We may be moving to donor sperm.
We have 3 cats and are currently discussing adopting a rescue dog. H drives Triaxel truck and I'm a nurse currently working in case management/diabetes education but my background is Peds/NICU.

DH and I have been TTC since Sep '12. Main problem is that I don't ovulate, had 2 failed medicated clomid and TI cycles, failed IVM, 1 CP, 2 failed clomid IUI's. Taking a cycle off right now so I can focus on something other than TTC and all the RE appt's and to generally destress. Next IUI will be follistim and if that fails we will move onto IVF if we get insurance approval.
We live in PA, and work in NJ, we are both engineers, and go to IVF NJ. I'm originally from Nebraska and DH is a PA boy born and bred. I like to do a lot of running, though since we have been having TTTC, the RE has suggested NOT running, so I miss doing all the races with my co-worker and running partner.

DH & I are both from Ohio. We just moved into our first family home which is happily keeping my mind off IF. We have one 4 y.o. black lab mix who is the most amazing pup. He is spoiled to no end. As far as IF, we have been trying for 16 months. All my tests came back normal, but I do think I have low progesterone. My hubby has very low morphology and borderline normal everything else. Our first IUI was a BFN. Our second w/ 2 follices we had a chemical/ealy loss (not sure which it is technically). Then this cycle our third and final IUI was cancelled due to over response. I am in the 2WW of TI cycle. We will do one more IUI bf IVF w/ ICSI.
As far as hobbies, I love to cook, read, exercise & walk the dog. DH & I love movies and are sadly about to finish Friday Night Lights series. I heart Riggins. lol
Nice to meet everyone!

I'm so glad this was started. I'm sorry y'all are here but happy to read all your stories (it's nice getting to know everyone).
I always post from my phone. And I think I have a ticker I need to change but am to lazy to get on the computer. And I tend to be long winded when I type.
H and I are high school sweethearts. We met in art class first day of JR year. Had an instant connection. He proposed on an airplane at the hangar (8 year anniversary). Married on my birthday and a day shy of 10 years together. The day we were married (10/2/11) we started NTNP. I a work for a company that does newborn photography in the hospital. H does multimedia and web design. He makes maintenance training material for airline mechanics. We also have 2 rescue cats (never thought that would happen). I'm still waiting for my corgi.
About 2 years ago I got extremely sick. Our GP thought it was fertility related, liver related, gluten related, then bowl related. I had transvaginal ultrasound, ultrasound of my ovaries and slews of blood work. Everything was fine. I was eventually DX with IBS and Gerds. Being so sick benched me for 3+ months. After I felt well enough we started actively trying (9/12)
Started testing at my OB/GYN beginning of this year. I've been going for blood tests quite often to make sure my numbers are good. I'm taking progesterone & Bromocriptine. My OB/GYN does not want to start on any fertility enhancing drugs/ IUI/ IVF yet. They want to make sure we have the best chance(s) possible at making a baby. I've been told they only do 6 cycles of Clomid. They aren't known for their infertility program but so far H and I are happy.
DH goes to an RE that deals with male and female infertility. H has only had the one SA. His counts were great except for morph at 0% pre wash. After wash motility went up 1.5% but the rest of the numbers weren't so good. There were white blood cells from infection in the sample and DH is on meds. He goes back for a second SA May 14th. After that we consult with the RE (who has my info too) and my OB/GYN.

Hi Ladies! I'm Ada and I live on the coast of SC. I am 34 and my H is 33. I have been off BC for 3 years now, actively trying since 12/12. Luckily all of my numbers have been great since seeing my RE last fall and going gluten free. Frustratingly, all my numbers have been great and my husband has had multiple great SAs.
I hate the "unexplained" diagnosis...there's got to be something wrong! We had one m/c that was probably ectopic according to my doctor. I just started stims last night for IVF#1. Things become real when the needles come out!
We have 2 rescue dogs (9 mo and 5 mo) that are the babies. They are our joy, especially through IF.
I just want to thank all the ladies here for being so wonderful. I really don't think I would survive this process without all of you!

@ronniesgirl1981 thanks for starting this discussion. It is the best ever! I love reading about each group member's stories. It's so helpful as I try to get to know everyone better.
I've from NYS, have been on 3T a couple of months. DH is 30, I just turned 29, married in China during the 2008 Olympics. TTC over 5 years with no pregnancies. Due to denial/timing (and imagining we might eventually get KU with TI after his bad SA) we finally sought help January this year (straight to RE).
I'm pretty patient about this but am excited to test finally (CD1 is today - TMI - who knew it was possible to be so happy when doubled over the toilet with cramps, diarrhea, and clotty blood?)
I love being a part of this community. I've learned way more about IF in a few weeks than in years before this. I find it a less stressful, and really fun, way to learn - piecemeal from other women's real life experience, with some studies and facts sprinkled in. I was also floored to experience the outpouring of support when I was having a bad day. It feels so good to connect with other women going through similar struggles.

Hey yall!! Im Jaz, no for real my IRL name is Jaz so call me that. I am from Baltimore MD, love the Steelers, the Orioles, the Blackhawks, and Heat! I have a twisted sense of humor and can be sarcastic as hell and I hope it translates over the interwebz.
Im 30 and still in denial about it. DH just turned 34, and yesterday we celebrated our 7th anny (which is why Im so late to this post)
We've been trying with treatments since 2011, and I went straight to IVF because my tubes got screwed over by a bad case of endo. And to add insult to injury DH has some MFI going on and genetic conditions... which is a blessing in disguise, because neither of us feels responsible for IF and we dont have resentment towards the other. We are both 50/50 to blame and its caused us to bond.
In the past I havent cycled back to back, with at least 6months to a year in between attempts, more recently we've started cycling closer together. To date we've had 2 IVFs, 3 FETs, 1 MC, 2 CPs, and 1 fail.
Nice to "meet" you all.

I'm 26. DH is 34 (35 next month). We were married in October 2011. We bought our house in November 2012, and are currently renting out DH's house. I am an HR specialist for a warehouse, and DH is a restaurant manager for Qdoba. We have 4 fur-babies...2 cats and 2 dogs.
My hobbies include riding motorcycles, and playing softball. Other than that, we're pretty boring and lazy.

I am from northern va but am not an SG girl. I was diagnosed with PCOS my junior year of college (06) and made some lifestyle changes but basically tried to put it out of my mind at the time since there was no imminent baby making. Got married this past September and immediately went off BC and was in treatment with an RE by November (2nd cycle post marriage). We jumped in immediately due to that old PCOS diagnosis (which my ob confirmed with a new blood work up before the wedding).
I'm on my 5th cycle of 50 mg clomid with TI and I'm 8DPO, so home stretch for this cycle. Been trying very hard to zen out this cycle so pretty calm but as I'm sure everyone else has felt the anticipation buzz...once I get past 8DPO its hard to not start to go a little bonkers. lol.
So great hearing all your stories...so much support here!
I am two months shy of turning 34 my DH is 35. We have known each other forever. We went to the same high school and college, started dating in college, and got married in 2005. We were busy with our academic careers (we went to grad school together and now are teaching at college-level) and really enjoyed traveling that we never felt ready for a baby. Given the early menopause history in my family (my mother had it at 36), I have decided to freeze some embies for later use and went to see my doctor last december, and then I learnt that I have low AMH (0.7) and high FSH (10). He asked me where I had been so far! Even though we were not thinking about having kids immediately we knew that we wanted at least one, so we started TTC and then immediately moved to IVF when my FSH jumped to 16. I now am in 2ww (2dp3dt) with three beautiful embryos and wishing that they hold on!

Hi Ladies! I have posted a little but never officially introduced myself. My name is Kristen, I live in Southern California. My DH and I have been married for a little over 2 years now. We have been trying for a little over a year after a miscarriage at 7 weeks. The most difficult thing I think I've ever experienced. We just started going to an RE in February and just finished our first round of clomid and IUI over the weekend. Praying this will be a very lucky month and hoping this is just the little help we needed. I wish everyone the best of luck in this very difficult journey. The support from everyone here definitely makes it a little easier.
I'm Twinkie. I live in the midwest and have been TTC for 33 months. I have done 4 IUIs (1 unmedicated, 1 clomid, and 2 clomid+trigger) and 3 IVF cycles (only two transfers all of our embryos arrested during IVF #1). We have been through a few different diagnosis (my OB diagnosed our issue as low progesterone, first two REs called us unexplained, and 2nd opinion doctor thinks we have poor egg quality and slight MFI), but the issues that have come up from testing are low progesterone, hostil CM, I'm a CF carrier, and I seem to be a poor-ish responder to meds and have poor egg quality. DH has slightly low morph.
We have decided to move on to donor embryos and currently have 9 donated embryos waiting for us (6 day 2 and 3 blasts). We are currently in the middle of our first FET cycle and my lining check is on Thursday (2 days!) and if all is well our transfer will be a week from Wednesday (8 days!).
DH (32): SA is ok, slightly low morph, normal SCSA Me (32): Slightly low progesterone, hostile CM, carrier for CF, Moderately high NKC, High TNFa, heterozyogous mutated Factor XIII, and +APA
October 2012-May 2014: 4 failed IUIs, 3 failed IVFs, and 1 failed FETw/donor embryos
November 2014: IVF w/ICSI #4 Agonist/Antagonist with EPP and Prednisone, Baby Aspirin, Lovenox, and IVIG for immune issues. Converted to freeze all due to lining issues. 2 blasts frozen on day 6!
January 2015: FET #2 Cancelled due to lining issues

DH and I have been married 8 years, TTC #1 for 2.5 years. Pretty much NTNP for first year but still mostly natural, with only two Clomid cycles so far in addition to herbs, acupuncture, charting/temping.
We love to travel and love to play outdoors - camping/climbing/biking/running.

I'm jaytee, I spend most of my time on TTGP and here but will start looking at the IF board shortly. I've been married to my H for 2.5 years, and we're on cycle 22, approaching our 2 yrs IFiversary. I'm a Canuck, eh, love hockey, Timmy's and our one year old pup, Abby. Treatment info is in the siggy but for mobile, we have had 3 failed Femara + TI cycles and 4 failed injects + IUI cycles, I'm currently benched with cysts and then we're moving on to IVF, we have our consult on Thurs. IF is a shitty journey, I'm sorry we all find ourselves here, but it sure does help to have some awesome people around.
Hello from CA. I'm 32 and DH 37. Been TTC since Aug 2012. In November 2013 we started to look into it. He is a little low on counts and motility. My left ovary sucks and doesn't do much or hasn't reacted to the clomid. We have gone through 2 rounds if IUI. I'm trying to stay positive with my DH throughout the process but it sucks. Finally broke down and told our parents since they keep wondering about grandkids.

Hey ladies, I live in Appalachia and we've been TTC since May 2012. I went to an OB first for treatment (I know, big mistake). I did 5 cycles of Clomid with him. We did IUI's with the last 2 Clomid cycles. My husband had surgery in December to fix his varicoceles. I had an HSG in February that was normal. My first appt with an RE was in March. All my testing with the RE so far has been normal. He feels like I could have endometriosis. From what I've read, 30-50% of women with unexplained infertility have endo. I don't have any endo symptoms other than slightly irregular cycles and infertility. He also felt like I was "exercising excessively" so I stopped running. I missed it like crazy for a couple weeks, but I know I enjoy having more free time.
Me: 29, DH: 31 TTC since May 2012, married since 7-08-06 Me: irregular cycles, possible endo DH: bilateral varicoceles (surgically corrected on 12-13-13) Treatment: 3 cycles of Clomid alone, 2 cycles with Clomid and IUI HSG Feb. 14: all clear 1st appointment with RE 3-20-14 2nd appt with RE: normal postcoital test, u/s showed a large follicle the day after I got a positive OPK, most likely problem is endo 2nd HSG May 14: My RE used a dye that is supposed to help calm down inflammation from endo
Hello. My DH and I have been TTC for about 2 years now. All tests have come back normal, my tubes are open and ready and my DH has super sperm so we are unexplained. We were supposed to start our first IUI in January, but due to my DH job we couldn't make it happen so our first IUI is scheduled for my June cycle. I just recently posted about cervical mucus hostility and will be trying Mucinex this cycle to try to decrease my CM. I have always had a lot of CM and it never occurred to me, until recently, that this could be a bad thing!

Hey Everyone I am still fairly new to the boards. My name is Melinda, me and DH have been TTC since 10/12 I have a lovely dx of PCOS. Hubbys SA was fine. Right now I am on my 2nd round of Provera/Clomid. I was one of the lucky ladies with PCOS who always had AF (like 3/4 of the month) I started by going my PCP (reg doc) 6/13 and she started me on Metformin (which I dont think has changed a thing but who knows) 6 months later I went to an OB/GYN. I had a month of BC had 1 AF and then nothing. So I did my first round of provera/clomid. BFN, Now on round 2. Feeling quite positive because what else can you be

I'm very new to this board and to IF in general. DH and I are both pharmacists in upstate NY. We have been married 2 1/2 years and TTC for 7 months. I went to my ob/gyn after 4 months of not getting a period, tried 1 cycle of unmonitored clomid (that didn't work) and the went right to an RE. I've been diagnosed with lean PCOS, failed my first round of femara so I'm on it again now. At this point just ovulating would be a huge win for us!
Hello - I join you all the way from Australia. I've been married 5 years, TTC for 2. Laparoscopy last year for endo & currently on 50mg Clomid days 5-10. Appt with IVF specialist next week - that's our next step. I've been part of this forum for about a year now & love it!
Im from Indiana ( close to chicago) Me and DH have been married for 2 1/2 years, im 28 and hes 29, and we have been TTC since 1 year mark. I was finally dignosedwith PCOS and we are trying to get that under control. I just underwent my first round of clomid ( but DH refused sex on O day so bust). We are trying all we can right now. DH works in cabinetry and I run and resturaunt. Kind of boring lives...lol
I figured I'd coming out of hiding to participate! (ok, it's been a whole week, lol)....but I like this idea and I know I'll be back sooner than later.
SN: AlaskaDee23, RL nm is Dee. Lived in Alaska, so that's where that all came from I'm 33(34 in a few weeks, blah) and DH turns 36 tomorrow. We are from Central Pa. We have the coolest dogs, Penny (fox red lab) and Fudge (Australian shepherd), .....
My husband and I want a red fox lab as our next pup! They are beautiful!!

DH and I are high school sweet hearts, he just turned 27 I'm 26. We live in Hawaii, he's stationed here. We have three fur children, puppy, kitty, bunny.
We've been TTCfor two years. Both M and F issues. I don't ovulate quite right and he has low mot and count is lower than our RE would like.
We had a MC in Jan just before 6 weeks. Was on clomid for that cycle and the one before that. Did a cycle of femara. Had a ruptured cyst that pretty much ruined my life for a month.
Just did a medicated cycle with follistim and TI. Waiting for AF so can start IUI next cycle.
Nice to 'meet' everyone.
TTC: Started May 2012
Bloodwork - potential ovulation issue which seemed to be fixed by clomid.

I have been MIA on TB lately, so I figure a re-intro is in order.
DH and I have been married since July 2011 and we immediately ditched condoms (I wasn't on BC pills).
In October 2012 we became concerned that we weren't pregnant yet, so we seeked out an OB (previously seeing a GP for everything).
OB diagnosed me with PCOS based on my cycle history and symptoms. She immediately put me on Metformin 500mg and Clomid 50mg (unmonitored - shame on me). Also performed a SA on DH. SA came back normal and I did Clomid 50mg Oct 2012 - Dec 2012.
January 2013 I decided to take a Clomid break. I continued this medication break up until Dec 2013 when we decided to try Clomid again. This time we did Clomid 100mg unmonitored (shame on me again).
The start of the January 2014 cycle was excruciating. I had what we believe was a cyst rupture (the ER visit was a joke, they did a pelvic with NO VAGINAL ULTRASOUND... that is another rant in itself). We lowered the Clomid back to 50mg for January, February, and March.
We did a repeat SA in March, and an HSG. All results were normal.
After 7 total rounds of unmonitored Clomid, and lots of research, I have finally gave up on the Clomid. I came to this conclusion towards the end of the March cycle during a hormonal meltdown.
Luckily for me simultaneous to my meltdown I saw an advertisement for our local RE on TV. They were holding an Open House in honor of NIAW. To make things extra special they were offering a FREE consultation if you pre-registered. So of course we preregistered and we have an appointment with an ACTUAL RE on July 8th!
I am in love with this RE. He is so charismatic and seems to be amazing. DH really liked him too. I felt so comfortable and reassured listening to his presentation, and to make things better he took time after the presentation to talk to us briefly. I told him about my 7 cycle Clomid fiasco, and he said that it is time to move on. I couldn't agree more.
I am beyond ready to do things the RIGHT WAY!
I cannot wait for July!
Hugs to all!

I am jaco0207, I live in Minneapolis with DH and our furbabies, a cranky cat, and our super
-happy 4 year old golden doodle. I am 39 and DH is 42, I work as an outside sales rep, and he works in the non profit world. We have been together for 9 years, and got married in Dec 2012, then started TTC in January of 2013. Thank goodness a friend had mentioned that she had tracked her ovulation (I had been on bc for 20 years so ovulation was not on my mind at all), because my nurse midwife's advice was to "have fun trying", terrible advice for a 37 year old!
Last summer I started the process of finding out why I wasn't pregnant yet. My AMH is low, not too surprising given my age, and I have hypothyroidism, DH has low morphology as well. I also decided to get an hsg done before we started IUIs and all was clear. So basically old eggs and poor swimmers.Luckily I seem to have fairly regular ovulation. We have tried 4 medicated cycles, and two IUIs. Unfortunately, my insurance has zero fertility coverage and we have been 100% oop, and this drives too many of our treatment options and decisions. Should I spend money on this or that?!?... I have been going through an OB office that I feel confident in (my nursepractitioner worked in a fertility clinic for many years), but am thinking of making a switch to a fertility/OB clinic that specializes in IUIs. We have decided to keep trying IUIs for now, and that IVF is too pricey for us. Luckily my OB office is full of stories of women who did many IUIs and were successful eventually. They said if we were thinking IVF, they would move me on right away, but given our decision not to, they will do as many IUIs as we want.
The last couple of months were very stressful and busy at work and my body responded, so we decided to self bench for a couple of cycles. I am hoping to start the IUI process again next cycle!

Hello ladies. I'm "Canuck" from Toronto, 37 and my SO is 40. We have been together 4 years and were "not trying to avoid" for 2 years and ttc for 2 years. I was also married previously and my exH and I ttc for around 2 years as well, including 3 failed iui's. He now has 2 kids, so I'm assuming the problem lies with me even though I have only ever been officially 'unexplained'...
Currently my SO and I have done 2 failed iui's (see siggy) and are in the 2ww for iui #3. My Re is now concerned about my AFC and thinks if we go forth with IVF in July I may only produce 2-4 eggs, which completely bums me out also, SO has some inconsistent sperm sample results...
I love doing outside, nature-y stuff like walking on trails, bird watching, photography, etc. and also love to read! I like hockey (of course) and coffee and wine Oh, and I teach grade 8 and SO is in sales.

-Started temping/charting/OPK's immediately. No dice.
-Around the year mark went to OBGYN. We did 3 unmonitored cycles of clomid because I didn't know any better at the time.
-DH did a SA (poor motility and morphology). Second SA had slightly better results, but I believe it was done too soon (about 3 weeks after initial SA).
-DH went to urologist, all clear.
-RE time, 1 cycle of femara, did not respond. Biggies follie was 6mm.
-RE: Follistim cycle and IUI #1 unsuccessful. RE said DH's swimmers looked good.
-RE: Hysteroscopy found a small fibroid and endo which were removed and he flushed my tubes.
-Currently trying our first cycle naturally after surgery. After 2 or 3 failed cycles we plan to move forward with meds and plan another IUI.
I've gotten a ton of great advice and have really been able to educate myself with the help of this board. I truly appreciate everyone that takes the time to respond to my questions. Thank you!

Hi, I’m relatively new. I’m from Northern California. I have
Medicaid and Medicare (Disabled), so I’m only working with my GYN, and my PCP.
DH works but doesn’t have benefits either for himself or that I can utilize.
For financial reasons DH and I do not have a marriage license. We’ve only
trying since August, but years ago my former doctors speculated that I had
reproductive health issues, that they didn’t care enough to look into further. Aka,
I have periods from hell, “Oh, they will get better when you have a baby.” (age
18) “You have symptoms of endometriosis.” Are you going to find out if I do or
not? “No.” (age 20) “You can’t have a period without ovulating.” (age 24) I
think I’m having infertility problems. “Just try to get pregnant.” (age 26.)
So, I moved (from Las Vegas back to Northern California) and
changed my GYN. He tested my thyroid and said it was normal. Looking at results
from a few years ago TSH .68 then to .8 now. I’m going to push for further
testing after surgery next month to finally see if I do or don’t have
endometriosis. SA was normal for DH 2 years ago… no coverage means waiting on a
promotion to get it re-checked.
New GYN thinks I am failing to ovulate, and that I will need
Clomid to finally conceive. Baby steps.
Blessings and baby dust to you all.

Hello, my name is Megan.
I am 31 and DH is 33. We live in
Georgia and have 2 dogs.
DH and I are fairly new to all of this and I love reading
about all the different treatments as we venture through this. We have been TTC for 18 months. My progesterone levels came back low and I
have had several ovarian cysts through out the past few years. All other test came back normal. We have had 2 failed clomid cycles and are
currently on our third clomid cycle.
We have been married 7 years. We live in the Midwest, and I love to drink coffee and read.
This is cycle 21 for us. We have been diagnosed as severe MFI. We have been seeing a RE since November of this year, and we have also been being treated by a uro since November as well. Our RE told us that ivf was our only option if we didn't get DH's numbers up, so we have been attempting to do that for the last 6 months. My DH has been taking clomid and supplements and next Friday is our next SA. After that we see our RE to see if we can attempt an iui, or if he is still recommending ivf. So we will finally be doing some kind of fertility treatment soon I hope!

IVF planned for early November- cancelled due to cyst
Hello! I first joined on the TTGP board awhile ago, but moved over here after my HSG in March showed bilateral partial obstruction. We've been TTC since March 2012, started charting in November 2013 after friends told us about their repro issues and lent me TCOYF. Just had a lap done yesterday. I didn't talk to my dr afterwards (or if I did I don't remember it), but DH told me that my tubes looked clear after all, but I had a bit of endo and a fibroid. She removed the endo and said the fibroid shouldn't be an issue. We've got an appt on the 7th to discuss everything in depth. At times I feel really lost in this, I feel like I don't understand any of this with regard to what happens next. I wish it were like "if a, then b" or a flow chart of something. I'm pretty smart, but when I get overwhelmed I try to focus on almost anything else.
DH is a professor and I'm a trainer. We work in the same university, in GA. We have 3 f/t inside cats, 1 p/t inside cat, and 1 f/t outside cat and whatever other strays wander up. I play roller derby, do some lifting, and have picked up running again. I also like various handicrafts, but mostly sewing. I've actually been happily CFBC for most of my adult life, but the Mr and I started talking about it (a number of his colleagues were pregnant/just had children) and figured what the heck. As the first year came and went with no pregnancy I figured no biggie, I'm happy being CF. But by November of 2013 I changed my mind, I decided that I really do want a child, and so we started the course that led us here.

I know I'm late to the party, but I'm in finance and end-of-month is a bitch.
I'm Kara, from beautiful east-central PA: the heart of coal country. My city's claim to fame is that it's the home of America's oldest brewery. But, I don't like beer, so, meh.
I'm a crazy fangirl for a variety of different shows including, but no limited too: Dr. Who and Harry Potter(that is a Tardis in my siggy. Next to the lake at Hogwarts) Downton Abbey, Gilmore Girls, Mad Men, pretty much every show that's appeared on Masterpiece Classics. I love BBC.
In my limited free time, I like to take long walks with friends, play in the dirt in my tiny garden, and sip(ok, chug) bottles of sweet wine.
Onto the important stuff:
I'm 25, DH is 36. We've been married for 4.5 years, and TTC #1 since December 2012.
I've recently been diagnosed with PCOS, the common insulin-resistant kind; but I've suspected something was off with me for a while. My cycles have always been on the long side, and we had quite a few pregnancy scares when I was young and dumb and didn't know how my body worked.
I've overweight. A lot. And I know it's a problem. I also know that it's mainly a result of my PCOS, so I don't beat myself up about it. I'm as gorgeous now as I was at my heaviest, and will be at my lightest. Fat doesn't define me. I am on a relatively restrictive low carb diet. I've cut processed sugars and grains out almost completely, with the exception of a cheat day now and then. I've embraced that the "diet" I'm on is a lifestyle change for me, and I recognize that I'm not going to go my entire life without eating another beat of cake or pizza. Since January 1st, I'm 27.8 pounds down, with an overall weight loss goal of 130 lbs to get me to what is typically considered a healthy weight.
Treatment for me right now is losing weight, supplementing berberine to try to reign in my insulin, vitex to help maintain regular cycles. I'm happy to report that since I started my getting healthy initiative on January 1st, I've seen the end of a 186 day cycle with ovulation on CD176!!!
I am currently towards the end of my most normal cycle yet--in the 2WW following O on CD19--my earliest ever ovulation. We had good timing this cycle, but I'm trying not to get my hopes up.
That's it!
P.S. If anyone has any RE recs in my area, I'd greatly appreciate it. Close major cities to me are Allentown, Harrisburg, Hershey, and Reading. I'm not above driving to Philadelphia, but would rather find someone more local.
Hi
I'm Jessica 33 husband is 34 I'm a housewife and he is a computer
programer. I would like to call us high school sweethearts but I
don't think that really applies when you lived in different countries
at the time. We met in 96 when i was 15 and he was 16 and have just
been together since. In 2000 I moved from Nebraska to Canada,
currently we are living in Toronto.
I
have known since a couple days after talking to husband the first
time he had PCD (its a rare genetic condition that means the cilia in
his body doesn't work right) and wasn't well. At the time he was
still living under a very wrong diagnosis that he wouldn't make it to
25 so he wanted me to know he wasn't well so I could just walk off
then and there. I don't really remember him telling me it was
unlikely that he could have kids I have just always known so after we
got married I started looking into IVF.
Unfortunately
after we got married (like weeks after) I got sick, and had been for
the last 10 years. No one knows or cares why, but a paleo diet seems
to have fixed it so I just pray it is over.
When I got sick we both
just gave up the idea of having kids, but last year we changed our
minds and decided to try DS. Our Dr. says everything looks perfect
with me and is happy to just keep going natural cycle.
I
love all things crafty and all things nerdy. And that was probably
too much to read.
Re: How about some re-intros?

I heart Riggins. lol

March 15 Siggy Challenge: You had one job
Temping since Nov 2012, off BC since July 2011

Waited a long time, tried a lot of stuff, science made me a mom.
Hey ladies, so helpful to get to know everyone.

TTC #1 since August 2011
My Blog
September 2012: Start IF testing
DH (32): SA is ok, slightly low morph, normal SCSA Me (32): Slightly low progesterone, hostile CM, carrier for CF, Moderately high NKC, High TNFa, heterozyogous mutated Factor XIII, and +APA

November 2014: IVF w/ICSI #4 Agonist/Antagonist with EPP and Prednisone, Baby Aspirin, Lovenox, and IVIG for immune issues. Converted to freeze all due to lining issues. 2 blasts frozen on day 6!

First TTC Journey:

- Met with RE. Laparoscopy/Hysteroscopy done on 08/04/2014. Results: Hymenal stenosis, minimal endometriosis, and PCOS
My name is Nicole and im 27 almost...my DH (27) and I have been married 3yrs next week. we live in Illinois. we have have been ttc for 2yrs and are seeing a RE now. I was DX with Hypothyroid in jan 2013. Dh did a SA and all is normal there, I did HSG yesterday and that is normal now we are checking for autoimmune disorders.
So, I moved (from Las Vegas back to Northern California) and changed my GYN. He tested my thyroid and said it was normal. Looking at results from a few years ago TSH .68 then to .8 now. I’m going to push for further testing after surgery next month to finally see if I do or don’t have endometriosis. SA was normal for DH 2 years ago… no coverage means waiting on a promotion to get it re-checked.
New GYN thinks I am failing to ovulate, and that I will need Clomid to finally conceive. Baby steps.
Blessings and baby dust to you all.

Hello, my name is Megan. I am 31 and DH is 33. We live in Georgia and have 2 dogs.
DH and I are fairly new to all of this and I love reading about all the different treatments as we venture through this. We have been TTC for 18 months. My progesterone levels came back low and I have had several ovarian cysts through out the past few years. All other test came back normal. We have had 2 failed clomid cycles and are currently on our third clomid cycle.
Hello everyone!
So we will finally be doing some kind of fertility treatment soon I hope!

but may want to before moving forward with any fertility treatments.
After seeing the uro, DH is currently taking lots of supplements and clomid to try to boost his count. We will have a repeat SA in February to see if it works.
Follow up SA numbers are: Count= 4 million, Motility= 40%, Morphology= 1%
Uro wants us to have another follow up SA 5/9 to see if we see further improvement than we are back to the RE to make a game plan.

Hi I'm Jessica 33 husband is 34 I'm a housewife and he is a computer programer. I would like to call us high school sweethearts but I don't think that really applies when you lived in different countries at the time. We met in 96 when i was 15 and he was 16 and have just been together since. In 2000 I moved from Nebraska to Canada, currently we are living in Toronto.
I have known since a couple days after talking to husband the first time he had PCD (its a rare genetic condition that means the cilia in his body doesn't work right) and wasn't well. At the time he was still living under a very wrong diagnosis that he wouldn't make it to 25 so he wanted me to know he wasn't well so I could just walk off then and there. I don't really remember him telling me it was unlikely that he could have kids I have just always known so after we got married I started looking into IVF.
Unfortunately after we got married (like weeks after) I got sick, and had been for the last 10 years. No one knows or cares why, but a paleo diet seems to have fixed it so I just pray it is over.
When I got sick we both just gave up the idea of having kids, but last year we changed our minds and decided to try DS. Our Dr. says everything looks perfect with me and is happy to just keep going natural cycle.
I love all things crafty and all things nerdy. And that was probably too much to read.
