PIP: Um "GREAT" Easter Egg hunt!....lol

We went to our church where we were going to have crafts, face painting, pics with Easter Bunny, and an Easter egg hunt - sounds fun right?!  Well...........they did not have crafts for a 1 1/2 year old or if they did the big kids were HOGGING IT!.....lol.  Then Paige was TERRIFIED of the Easter Bunny - even in our family picture!  They split the Easter Egg hunt into age groups we were in 1-4 year olds.  Each group had 200 eggs.  There were 10 kids in our group.  Should be easy to get eggs right?! NOPE!  Paige found TWO!....lol.  POOR GIRL!  She was very leary about picking up the eggs.  We have been practicing at home using pastel eggs. These eggs were neon with crosses on them.  She was like "What are these?!  These aren't my eggs?!"  We plan to let her hunt eggs at Grandma's tomorrow!  Then to top it all off when we were getting in the car she was standing by the car and Mommy opened the door and SMACK right into her head!  At least she gets to spend the night with Grandma - that always makes things better right?!  Anyway, some pics from our day!

So cute! Her face in the 1st picture is so funny and cute. ?DD is also?terrified of the Easter Bunny. ?She saw one at the mall today, passing out candy and she screamed. Looks like she had a great time though.

yeah, dc didn't do too hot with the easter bunny today either... I think we're done with trying for santa and bunny pics.

 

Sounds like fun!  Frustrating that kids (and some adults) go wackadoo at these things.  A friend took her dd and she said that parents of little babies were running up and snatching up eggs from the toddler hunt.  Her dd is 2... she got a few eggs, but it was over so fast!  She said one grown woman snatched one that her dd was obviously bending down to get... friend had some choice words but the woman ignored her.  beeeooottccchhhh

DD had a hunt today too.  She loves them at home but today she threw her basket and did not want to play.  Of course!

Yeah, we had adults taking eggs right out in front of DD. She got 4 eggs. But she was still proud of herself.

aw!  that is cute.  Carson would have been terrified of the bunny too!  i actually forgot about Easter bunny pics this year.........bad mommy!
