I feel like I don't "know" half of the regulars now!!  Maybe I'm an old lady, but how about some re-intros?  It'll be nice to have them all in one place.  So post your re-intro...even if you just introed today!  And this is an official call to all you lurkers!  Come on in...we are nice!  I promise.

I suppose I should start it!  I'm from Baltimore and my RE is with SG.  We have been trying for about 20 months.  I have slightly low AMH, but all of our others numbers are swell.  And that leads to unexplained IF.  To date, we have had 2 failed clomid IUIs and 1 crazy IVF cycle that ended in a BFN.  We hope to cycle again in June or July of 2014, but would seriously welcome a surprise BFP, too. :-)

I'm from Indiana (Indianapolis to be exact), and I go to Family Beginnings (private owned RE practice).  We're currently trying on our own for a couple of months.  I haven't taken any fertility drugs or anything yet.  DH's SA, showed slightly low Morphology, but RE wasn't concerned.  My AMH was slightly low, but again, RE wasn't too concerned.  I had a Lap last month, and he removed some minor endo, and he thinks that's our problem.  After a couple more months of BFNs, I'll start Femara.

But, for all the other newbies... I'm from Indiana.  We've been TTC since March 2012.  We aren't quite sure where we are going from here, after 3 failed IUIs.  The plans change daily.  Other than that, things are pretty boring.

Hi all!

We've been trying for 20 months or so and just celebrated our 3rd wedding anniversary! We live in New England, where I was born and raised, but my DH is from middle-of-nowehere New York, and we met in college

My DH has a blockage that can't be reached, so it is tiring down his men. He currently has 0% motility. It might clear up over time or it might get worse. We are doing IVF with ICSI, and we are waiting for our amazing RE to switch clinics, and will hopefully start IVF in June!

We live in Minneapolis with our 2 dogs and 2 cats.  DH and I are coming up on our two year anniversary at the end of May and we've been TTC since September of 2012.  I have Hashimoto's and a blocked tube.  DH just had a 2nd SA and there were some issues with his morphology this time so he's got an appointment with a urologist to get more info.  (The appt. was supposed to be today but he had to reschedule due to an issue at work.  Gah!) 

I am eager to learn more about how this affects us and what it means for treatment options but I'm not terribly worried.  I definitely don't think it's a death sentence.

This month will be our third Clomid cycle and first IUI.  Not sure what will be next but I'm practicing patience and positivity this month.

I feel like I need to re-intro, I've been so busy at work the last couple of weeks, I feel like I haven't been very supportive/active.

We have been TTC since Nov 2012. In Nov 2013 we suffered an ectopic pregnancy and had emergency surgery in Dec 2013. Since then we've been working with an RE and are on IUI #3. Mid-cycle ultrasound is scheduled for tomorrow, so I'm hoping to have IUI#3 on Thursday at the latest. I have PCOS and hypothyroidism. 

DH is an attorney and I'm a Program Specialist for a Park and Rec department. We have an awesome golden retriever who is currently the center of our universe.

@ronniesgirl1981- I am from from Baltimore, but now I am living in Odenton. DH and I have 2 cats and a dog. We will be moving the first week of June so that will keep us busy. 

 I have been trying for about 20 months with 1 loss in December. I have been diagnosed with unexplained infertility and for that reason my insurance denied me of my infertility benefits.  They said I have to wait 2 years from my loss.  Since going to an RE in October I was doing Femara and Progesterone.  This month my RE added injectables along with Femara and Progesterone.

My wife (C) and I live in Western NY. We met in Feb 2011 and married in Sept 2012.

We started this whole process in July 2013. I did four Femara cycles, which resulted in 3 IUIs. The first did not work out as we hadn't picked a donor yet, so the vials didn't arrive in time. All three cycles were BFNs. I had a laparoscopy and hysteroscopy in November. I was officially diagnosed with endometriosis and also had a uterine septum fixed. We switched to Gonal-F then and also picked a new donor. I over responded for that first cycle and we cancelled. The next one ended in a c/p. This last one was a BFN. I am starting Gonal-F tonight for what will hopefully be IUI #6. I say hopefully just in case I over respond again.

If this is another BFN, I'm potentially on the hunt for a new donor. My insurance provides great IUI coverage and nothing for IVF. As a result, we have decided to table IVF for now. If I'm not pregnant by this Fall, I will probably have another laparoscopy to take a look at my endometriosis again and probably have it removed a second time. I'm pretty sure it is growing back based on how I feel with AF.

C is not interested in carrying if at all possible. We have just placed ourselves on a list for private adoption.

ETA: we travel over 1 hour each way to our RE's office because that is the closest one. All of our appointments have to be done between 7 and 9 am due to blood work. We take the 7 am appointments so that I can make it back to work on time as much as possible.

I am new-ish to the board within the last couple months. I am 29 and DH is 30. We live in Southern California and have a small rescue dog who we absolutely adore! She is totally the center of our world and we aren't ashamed to say it, lol We have been TTC our first baby for just over a year now with never getting a BFP. I had some blood work done and all looked ok and then an HSG that showed a blocked right tube. DH has had two SA and the results were initially bad but after meeting with a urologist we discovered that they were fine and initially mis-read (ugh). After having a horrible experience with my OB's office we cut straight to the chase and have an RE appointment scheduled (tomorrow!). We are hoping to begin a process as soon as possible.

Hi! I've been here for a couple months. I run the TPT thread and I try to do the GTKY threads to give us something fun to do.

DH and I have been married 2 1/2 years. We've been TTC since our first anniversary. I have an unexplained IF Dx which is beyond frustrating. I typically have anovulatory cycles and I'm currently on a very long cycle.

I have a Bachelor's degree in justice studies. It's been really good for collecting dust while I pursue my dream of writing the great American novel. Just to be even more cliche, I work as a waitress while we save for a house. DH runs a construction business in our little town.

Hi! I'm Milagros. Most of my information is in my siggy. H and are both 29, we've been married for almost 3 years, and we've been TTC for almost 2 years. In August 2012, I was diagnosed with stage 2 endometriosis. Because we're 100% OOP, we skipped IUI and moved right to IVF. Our first cycle was in January and it ended it with a BFN. We found out that we had poor embryo quality. I'm currently in between ER and ET of our second IVF cycle and hoping for a better outcome.

Non-IF stuff: I'm a science teacher at a community college. I have two of the sweetest most beautiful huskies in the world. My other favorite things include iced coffee, reading, traveling, beer, ice cream, and Harry Potter.

Good idea! I feel like I haven't been around as much lately.

I am 31 and DH will be 33 tomorrow. We live in Orlando. We started TTC in July of 2006 but did not go to the RE until October 2009 after we did HSG/SA and a couple rounds of clomid with my gyn. After ignoring the issue for three years, we re-invested ourselves with the RE in January of 2013. I had fibroids removed in July and today I did my fourth IUI (3rd medicated). After this I believe we move on to IVF.

Hey all! My history is in my siggy...short version I'm hypothyroid and because of that have some ovulation issues. DH has MFI-- low everything basically. We've seen the urologist who was ok and have our RE who we love. We are on to IVF now but this board definitely keeps me from going crazy. You ladies understand this like no one else, and I'm thankful to have your support...it's either the hormones, the BFN, or the vodka that has me a little weepy tonight!!

I'm 25 and from OH and am in finance. DH is 28 and is a civil engineer aka my introvert cutie . Cooking and my jewelry shop on etsy are my creative hobbies (I started my etsy shop in college for extra income) and DH loves disc golf. We have two Belgian shepherds that are our fur babies and spoiled rotten.

I have PCOS and DH has really low morph (1%). May marks our 25th month of trying and our 1st cycle of IVF w/ICSI. We've had 1 early loss(iui), 4 failed clomid cycles, and 4 iuis w/femara.

Hello. I'm pretty new to the board.
I'll be 30 this summer and DH is 28. I am a teacher and get to hang with 25 five and six year olds which is awesome. My husband is a driver.
We've been married for six years in May. We've been trying for almost three years but we're not really preventing pregnancy about a year before that. I haven't had anything but my initial consult at an RE. Waiting for AF so I can get started on all of this testing and then probably an IUI.

I'm live in PA, but am originally from waaaaayyy upstate NY, and go to RMA    I am a conservation educator/zookeeper, and DH is a biochemist for a pharmaceutical company.  My life pretty much revolves around animals and I love especially love birds.  We have a green cheek conure, a bearded dragon, a betta fish and one really annoying cat...my DH knew going into the marriage that animals were part of the package  

Most of my TTC history is in my siggy, but we have been trying for 15 months and started seeing an RE this past January.  Everything came back normal except they diagnosed me with Hashimoto's so I started levothyroxine.  I am currently in the TWW of our first medicated cycle and keeping everything crossed!

DH and I are college sweethearts, married in 2006 and currently live in South Jersey. I'm a graphic designer who mostly designs custom invitations and stationery via Etsy and local clients. My 3T claim to fame is that I designed the 2014 Just keep swimming badge (though another user came up with the saying). DH is a school administrator. I was diagnosed shortly after we were married with PCOS and went on BCP, we weren't ready for kids and knew it would be difficult so we wanted to wait until we were a little older, emotionally mature and financially ready to take on the challenge. I started with my OB who did do a SA and HSG but did not do regular monitoring (this was before my 3t days, before I knew better). I was fortunate not to have any serious problems on the clomid but it was a huge waste of time as I responded slowly on my first dose and then was resistant to the same dose the next go around and obviously without monitoring had no idea what was going on. I did 5 rounds with OB and then moved to RE in Oct 2013. Since then I've done 4 IUIs, 3 with Femara and 1 with follistim. Currently benched for cysts and hope to be back in the game in 2 weeks. I have 2 more IUIs with follistim to go and then I'll get my approval for IVF. I'm frustrated that we've had 4 great cycles (I've ovulated, DH had great counts, perfect timing) and nada - this makes me concerned that we have an egg quality issue or something else . Nice to re-meet you all.

Hello Ladies, I just introed yesterday. But a quick recap: I'm 27 and mh in 28. We've been married 2 years and ttc for 17 months. I was diagnosed with PCOS and completed three rounds of clomid. We have two angel babies and I have being hanging out on ttcal since September. Mh had an ASA with a post wash tmc count for 4.3 million and the lab suggested IVF. We are doing our last oi/timed intercourse cycle now with Femara; then will try a few rounds of IUI at our REs recommendation before IVF.

Hi! I live in Missouri with my DH, 3 cats, 2 ferrets, and 2 aquatic turtles (if you can't already tell, we are animal lovers). I work at a bank and DH is a car mechanic. We have been ttc for a little over a year now. My cycle history is in my siggy. We will probably be moving on to IVF late summer/early fall.

I am 34 turning 35 in 3 months and DH is 38. We live in Columbus, OH (go Bucks!!). I am a NICU nurse and DH is an attorney. We have taken time off BCP several times over the last 6-ish years but never got a BFP. We have officially been TTC for 18 months, 21 cycles. I've wanted to start a family but I was waiting on DH to be totally "ready". Our issue is MFI.
As you can see from my siggy, we have done multiple IUIs. I started with just clomid at the OB then did 1 IUI with him before moving on to an RE. I had all my CD3 labs, HSG, and SHG all come back great. I did cycles with clomid, clomid + follistim, just follistim! all natural! and now back to clomid. DH's SA came back borderline to bad at times. He has a normal-ish count, low motility (18-40%), and abnormal morphology but we don't get a number. For our IUIs, we have had anywhere from 300,000 to 12.5 million. DH is currently taking Anastrozole and his numbers have improved some but still no BFP.
I'm currently nearing the end of my 2WW from my LAST IUI. I haven't tested yet but I don't have a good feeling so see ya soon AF! We will be moving on to IVF and starting the process in June. I have completed all the testing and most of the paperwork but I decided to take May off and relax without taking any meds!

Hello everyone!
I am 28 and my DH is 34. We are both teachers and love kids and dogs! I stopped my BCP in September of 2011...and started medicated cycles in January 2014. I decided to see an RE last month because my gyn prescribed me clomid without monitoring me in anyway. I'm on my first cycle of 100 mg of clomid...had 3 mature follies at cd12 u/s and using ovidrel with TI. My DH and I have been diagnosed with "unexplained infertility" since all of our tests have come back clear! We plan to do 2 (maybe 3) cycles with the clomid + trigger + TI before moving onto IUI.

In regards to the comments on multiples..I don't think any woman wishes for an unhealthy pregnancy or child(ren). When someone (like myself) say they will take what they can get...it simply means that at this points the odds have not been in my favor and if I have more of a shot at getting a singleton with a small risk (of course slightly higher than without medications) of multiples because of more than 1 mature follie it is worth it!

I'm chicory (not my real name) and I've been posting on 3T since November-ish, lurking for a month or a couple before that. Our important medical history is in my siggy. Right now we're MFI and will likely be pursuing IVF sometime this year. We live in Wisconsin, DH is 30 and I'll be 30 in July (boo...the only family planning goal I ever really set for myself was to have my first child by age 30, not winning on that one!) We've been married 5 1/2 years. I go back and forth between wanting anonymity, so I won't share what DH does and I'll just say that I invested a crapload of effort and way too much money into my degree for what I actually earn, but I love what I do. In my free time I love horseback riding, canoeing with DH, quilting, music, and enjoying life with friends and family. @snedge I loved your re-intro and assessment of yourself. I myself tend to avoid drama/confrontation other than to maybe post to say "hey let's all be nice here!" But secretly I love your snark and wish I had some of my own! Sometimes I replay IF-related conversations I've had in real life in my head, except I dream up what my awesome, composed, bitchy, responses COULD have been, inspired by snark like yours, LOL.

Hi! I'm Lindsey. I'm 29 and my husband is 40. I'm a reading specialist and he's a software developer. We live in the Chicago suburbs.

I've only been TTC for about 8 months. I wasn't ovulating at all though, so we made an appointment with a RE around the 6th month. We found out I have a benign tumor on my pituitary gland that causes my prolactin levels to be very high, and therefore causes me not to be able to ovulate on my own. We're just starting our second medicated cycle.

I just wanted to say that everyone here has been very kind and informative and for that, I thank you all!  I am sending out lots of good vibes to all of you who are completing a cycle/TWW/regrouping!

Hello! My name is Marissa. I currently work as a project manager and my DH is a mechanical engineer in the nuclear industry. I am 31 and my DH is 32. We currently live in Northwest Indiana and are originally from the Chicago suburbs.

We have been TTC on and off for 4 years with just recently pursuing things with an RE this year.  Wednesday I start my first medicated cycle (Follistim + trigger + IUI).

I am new to all of this, so I am hoping to gain some insight as what to expect along this journey and also be able to talk with people that can relate to what I am going through

Hi.  I'm from Western PA.  DH and I were recently married, but I was married previously and TTC for 3 years with my ex.  We're currently working through Clomid and TI.  We're ridiculously lucky that we have insurance coverage for IF, or we wouldn't be able to afford IVF.  We recently had a consult with Shady Grove that went very well, but until we know what the insurance requires in the way of length of time TTC, we'll stick with one of our area clinics.  

We have 2 cats and one dog, none of whom like each other very much, so everyone has their own room in our house!  We have to have segregated socialization time!

It's nice to read these intros and re-intros!

DH (32) and I (33) have been together since high school, but finally tied the knot five years ago. We live in the Northeast with our dog, with whom we love to hike and enjoy plenty of time outside.

I was diagnosed with PCOS as a teen, and had been on and off various birth control pills to regulate my cycle, then was on NuvaRing for many years.  After we moved to our house, I wanted to start TTC, but I knew that DH wasn't ready, so we waited another one or two years before I went off of the NuvaRing. 
After I finally stopped NuvaRing, AF didn't arrive for over six months, so my GYN put me on Provera for a few months to try to "jump start" things. That didn't help much, so I had more tests that summer (2012) and DH had his SA (which took forever to schedule), which revealed that he has a mildly low count and low-ish motility.  That's when we were referred to the RE who prescribed meds + IUI.
With Clomid, I responded slowly and not great (just one follie each cycle), with three BFNs.  Now I am onto Letrozole.

I've said it a million times, but I don't know how I would deal with all of this without all of you ladies - the "hope squad"!  :x

Hi again - I don't post regularly as I don't always get a chance to keep up with the board. I'm 32, DH is 34 - most details are in my siggy, but dx with endo, uterine polyps and I guess what would be called weak ovulation. DH has (hopefully had) low morph, he gets his post-op SA soon (and he's been on clomid since Sept). We're in the TWW from our 2nd IUI (first medicated) with letrozole + follistim + trigger - we'll see how it goes! If the SA still comes back with low morph and BFN, we'll most likely move to IVF after this cycle.

@lebradford‌ good to hear your reintro. I'm frustrated because of my husband's age and the lack of time it gives us. My DH is 43 and I'm 31. It's just nice to see there's someone else with an age gap and a husband with a 4 in front of his age. I am also a teacher (although not a reading specialist).

Going through a clomid cycle with TI right now. Good to hear everyone else's story.

I'm from Ohio. A Secondary IFer, but have found the most in common with the ladies on this board. I went off BCP last Jan and made our way to the RE in Dec after a bunch of annovulatory cycles where I was recently diagnosed with PCOS. We just went through our 4th failed IUI and are now on the fast track (likely) to IVF this summer. So thankful for this board.

I'm 32 DH is 38. We have been TTC since our wedding in January 2012. Before that we were using the pull and pray method of birth control. After about 10 months with no success I started to see a naturopath to see if there were any changes I could make. I found out I had a gluten sensitivity and was diagnosed with hypothyroidism around the same time in early 2013. I was hoping that my thyroid was the issue so we held off on seeing a RE. I went to my GP in September who referred me to a fertility clinic. I didn't realize at the time, so we showed up for the appointment and it was an OB. I did get some testing done while waiting for a referral to a RE. I had my first appointment in December and in January we were diagnosis with unexplained infertility. I was also told that my AMH is lower than it should be for my age. I do acupuncture every month and try to adhere to a gluten free, dairy free, sugar free diet. No fur babies for us, I really want a dog but DH doesn't. We do love to travel, I love reading, running and yoga.

Hello!  I feel like I've missed so much, with all these new intros!  Thanks for doing this @ronniesgirl1981 , I feel like between work getting cray and posting on the IF board during my IVF cycle, I've lost track of intros and haven't been as active.

I live in Dallas and have been TTC since January'12.  I started posting on TB in January'13...I can't believe it's been that long!  Doesn't feel like that long, since everyone is so great on here  Most of my info is in my siggy.  At the moment, I'm on BCPs and will likely try IVF again in June (last cycle was converted to IUI).  I work in advertising and am being considered for a promotion now that my director left, so I plan on drowning myself in work for the next month.  

I also manage the siggy challenge, so PM me if you have questions on it.  I don't think I even knew what the heck it was until I volunteered to take it over last summer.
