We have a walk in clinic in the same office building as all the regular doctors.  I go there because I can't see a pcp without scheduling an appt 6mo in advance.

I'm in a "good" area.  Not a stellar one.  Low crime, good schools, etc.  Our house is 1800sq ft, 3bd/2ba, finished basement and on 3/4 of an acre and we paid $183K.  It was listed at $235 originally and had just been lowered to $209K when we looked at it.  The previous owners were living a part because they had been trying to sell their house for so long.  It was a great deal.  It also helps that we'll be able to sell for more than we bought/owe since the market seems to be picking up here.

Similar story here, except when they initially listed (two years before we bought) it was at over 400K.  There was no way, even in a stellar market, that was going to happen, lol.

Our neighbors just listed their similarly sized house for over half a million.  That's not happening either.  Despite their 1.5 acre lot.

I wish my kids never had to see a doctor. Although, we had a good run with keagan, he was 3.5 before ever receiving antibiotics, and then it was for strep throat.

All of y'all need to move to NC! We have an offer in on a 3br/2ba over 1300 sq ft cape cod that's been completely updated. The asking price is 104,500 and we have the guy down to 97 right now. Hoping to meet at 95. It's in the best school district in the area.

It hurts to see how much houses cost in other areas. I will never move out of the south for these reasons!

Our house was just appraised for ~80k more than H paid for it.

It was fugly.  There wasn't even paint on the walls, it was just white, textured drywall.  I am pretty sure that the only "original" item in our house at this point is the kitchen cabinets, and only because they were in great shape.

We've updated absolutely everything over the last few years. I think we've maybe spent a total of 20-25k out of pocket, but I really have no idea.

I'm only 40+3, so I could still potentially have 11 days before I have to be induced. My midwife is available 24/7, except Wednesday/Thursday this coming week. She's taking her kids away for the night, but the stand in midwife is lovely and professional so that's okay. I have another appointment on Monday, so will get another sweep then and see how we go. I lost my plug yesterday, and tightenings are slowly getting more strong, so it's just a waiting game now.

was Andy late? They say your 2nd baby comes earlier, but that wasn't the case for me. Glad your midwife will be around! Come on Cletus!

Gross is peeing in the downstairs bathroom, realizing there's no TP or tissues, and having to pull a kleenex or something out of the trash to wipe.  Can't waddle out of it in search of TP without crossing a window.  It's unfortunate.

I had a whole scenario play out in my head.  The first time you thought you lost it, you couldn't find it and bent down to get your pad (this is when your huge tit touched the plug and some of it got transfered), then you sat back up and put the pad in your underwear, then pulled up your pants, only to later find the plug on both your thigh and tits.

You need to apply for a SIN. 

You would need it to work in Canada, have credit, ect.. I'm thinking a SIN is the same as a SSN.

Also - FFFC - I put all of my important documents - passports, SIN cards, etc. in the fridge freezer because in the event of a fire the inside of the freezer is likely to be untouched. BOOYA.

I'm late as usual over here on the other side of the country. As we search for a house, this thread makes me sad and I thought we were a fairly lcol area. The house we put an offer on and then had to back out of was 129k for 2 bedroom 1 bath. Ideally, we'd like a 3bdr 2 ba, but I may need to adjust that vision. It seems like all the homes of that size are around 180k and in horrible condition.
