Ok, am I totally dense that I didn't see the Charlie part of the ending coming?? I suspected John at times throughout the book, but had ZERO inkling that he had killed Charlie too! Jaw. Dropped.
So...is it time to move on to another book yet? There hasn't been much discussion on the last one, but I know I've been done for awhile now, so I'm ready for a new one if others are.
I failed so hard at this. Even with the light reading *hangs head in shame*
Same! I feel so bad because I really want to get into it. I'm still trying but damn, this is just not light reading lol.
May I suggest "A great and terrible beauty" too? I think it's pretty good. Haven't finished it but I want to. It's very dark Victorian paranormal. Which I adore just a thought!
I can second Gone Girl being a great read. I've already read it though so I'm open to others. Has anyone read Meridith Wild's Hardwired series? It's supposed to compare to 50 Shades?
I want to get involved with this! I've re-read everything on my Kindle & book shelves during my lovely pregnancy insomnia... Gone Girl was definitely a great read, Cuckoos Calling was good.... I don't have any suggestions though, sorry
@LiteraChick@ZeusLBA I LOVED LOVED LOVED A Discovery of Witches!! I pulled 3 all nighters in one week to get through them all. My boss wasn't too happy with my performance the days after... Until I passed them off to her! Sooo good!
It looks like we need a new nominations thread. I really have no suggestions in reads and am following the crowd on this one, but I'm ready for whatever gets picked.
Well, I downloaded A Discovery of Witches, and put Gone Girl on hold, but I'm getting my groove back with reading since its too hard to get up and go watch tv or play outside, so feel free to add more books to my list. /rant.
I'll read anything till the new Outlander comes out, then...no promises
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEE aren't you totes geeking out over there? I cannot WAIT, I'm rereading the last one right now so I'm refreshed for it.
Vote on the next couple comments for the next book read.
Like you'd never believe! I reread all of them so I would finish Echo right in time for the last one I'm even excited for the series in late summer (but they're so often disappointing that I worry a little).

I get so sad when film versions (either series or movies) of my favorite books are...lackluster at best. I'm cautiously optimistic about this one because DG had so much input in the casting and production of this one, but I'm trying to temper my excitement with a little realism...books as good as these are apt to be tough to translate to the screen. This helps though...
I also started Discovery of Witches, and it's awesome. I'm not as much of a romance/steamy book reader, though. I'll play along when the book choice is "official"
