Apparently my concerns or questions about my first pregnancy are just a big joke to others and frankly that's pretty ridiculous that i can express them and ask for others with possibly the same concerns or questions to discuss them with me. This is a DISCUSSION board - I didn't know there were feeds for bullying on The Bump.... pretty low guys....
Re: Weight Gain.... How much is too much?!?!
This. I'm not sure what else there is to discuss.
AGREED!!!!!!
Guess this was my first and last time trying to get active with the pregnancy community. Those last few comments were really uncessecary and pretty rude.

Also at the bottom of your screen you'll notice the page numbers. To the right of that is a magnifying glass. Click on it and you can search the board for weight gain discussions. There used to be a weekly weigh in, but it stopped. It's a pretty sensitive topic for a lot of people.
I agree with PP. If your doctor isn't concerned it's not a "legitimate concern." Every pregnancy and every body is different.
I'm not new. I just hate The Bump.
I want to thank @lizardbreath14 for posting the screenshot - those just aren't photos (which obviously didn't come along with the QFP and I was sad), they are AMAZING photos with words and stuff. OP clearly wasn't THAT upset with her body that she couldn't post.
Yet she's SO concerned about weight gain?!?
-You get all your information from "text books" and the internet, and dismiss your doctor's medical opinion that you're weight gain is fine.
-You were 5 foot 7 and 140 lbs pre preg. and thought you might have been underweight (which you could easily discover is not true just by looking at a BMI chart)
-You are "not worried I'M too heavy by all means...and I actually like what pregnancy is doing for my body! :-)"
So...you just came on here to ask about OUR weight gain then? And not to compare it to your own, of course, because you are absolutely not worried about your weight gain.....??
Seriously. WTF.
Oh, and please refer to this article for the proper use of the word "bully". Lest you continue tobelittle the experience of those who are actually bullied. https://m.huffpost.com/us/entry/2188819?utm_hp_ref=fb&src=sp&comm_ref=false

The bear and the cocaine is pretty hysterical, too.

Combination butt hurt/ eye roll.
ETA: or maybe it's a fart? I dunno. Thought it was funny so I posted it.
I'm 5'7". Not pregnant, I weigh 110lbs. You, my friend, at 140lbs, are in no way underweight to begin with. Thanks for that hit to my self esteem, I hate how I look on a daily basis, too damn bony, and to hear that someone with 30 lbs on me thinks she's underweight? Yeah.
With my first pregnancy, I gained a total of 65 lbs. My doctor's didn't seem too concerned because C always measured right on track and I didn't have GD. Trust your doctors. Don't get bent out of shape because people gave you reasonable answers. Although, I have a feeling, had anything other than "wow, you look amazeballs" been said, you'd have taken offense. Go away.
