Hi June 2014 mamas!  Here is some general information about the board to get you started.

If you have a question and aren’t sure whether or not it has been posted yet, take a quick lurk through some of the previous posts.  Repeated questions are less likely to be answered, and you might be able to quickly find the answer you’re looking for without creating your own post.  Also, if you are not on mobile, there is a search function to the right where you can search to see if a topic has already been covered. On mobile a magnifying glass can be found beside the page numbers.

The June 2014 board is just like a community, and like in a regular community you cannot expect to walk into a room full of strangers and expect to get support.  If you get to know people and participate in discussions, you are more likely to get supportive responses to your posts.

If you have been around The Bump for a while, you will notice that there is a level of snark or spiciness that can be found on the message boards.  This is the culture of the boards, and despite your best efforts there will likely be little you can do to change it.  If you don't think you can handle the spice, click here and type in "pregnancy message boards."  You will be sure to find something a bit more mild. 

Check-Ins

Daily Symptoms Check-In: If you have any questions or thoughts about symptoms that you’d like to share, there will be a daily symptom check-in post.  If you are wondering what’s normal, what’s not, or just want to see if anyone else is experiencing the same symptoms as you, the check-in is where you can do that.

Daily Ticker-Change: This check-in is posted daily and is for those of you whose ticker switches weeks that day.  For example, I switch to a new week on Fridays, therefore I will post on the ticker-change check-ins on Fridays.

Daily Appointment Thread: Have an appointment today?  Tell us about it here.

Daily Anatomy Scan: Did you find out that you are Team Blue or Team Pink? Have an upcoming anatomy scan?  Let us know about your u/s here!
