  • Today is dragging because I have a prenatal massage scheduled for after work.  I haven't had a massage since before I was pregnant, so I'm excited to finally get one again.  Plus, I've been having some back/hip pain already, so hopefully it will help a little.
  • This gastrointestinal bug is kicking my butt. Had to resort to ice chips because even water isn't sitting well. Come on body, we do not want to have to go in for an IV. Thank goodness my kids are home on spring break to help me out.

  • My mother in law will be here Thursday. THURSDAY! For 5 days! I'm so excited because it's been months since I've seen her but my guest room isn't even close to being ready. I still have no bed, there are piles of boxes that need to go to the attic, the carpets need scrubbed, and did I mention there's no bed? My truck has been at the mechanic for over a week and they keep dragging their feet about getting it done. I HAVE NO BED FOR HER! Also hubs thinks it's more important to play a video game than to help me and I have zero energy. So he's dicking around and I'm bumping... And she'll be here in two days. Ugh.

    STUPID MOBILE!
  • I can't bring myself to call my grandma a twatwaffle, but she recently saw a picture of me and said "Did she stuff a pillow under her shirt?" What the heck is that supposed to mean? I'm 29 weeks pregnant! She should know what a pregnant person looks like- my cousin just had a baby in February. Plus, when I was 20 weeks and had just started noticeably showing, she asked if maybe I had two or three in there. Um, no. Just one. C'mon. Maybe I'll just blame it on her terrible old lady vision.

NOOOO!!!!  Just got an email for my massage today and they have to reschedule :-(  Argh.

Well, I was going to eat something healthier for lunch, but now I'm gonna go to Chipotle to console myself for my cancelled massage.

ETA:  And their next available appointment (that works with my schedule) isn't until NEXT Friday.  Lame....
  • @letsgobowlingx‌ Ha! People ARE crazy. She's also only seen me in person once this pregnancy. I figure if she'd been seeing me every week or so she might not say weird things.

  • @letsgobowling, first of all - I LOVE that outfit! Both necklaces are great but if I had to choose, I'd go with A.

  • @letsgobowlingx‌ they so need to hire you as their model bc that top is adorable on you and pretty boring on their website. You look fantastic!

  • @letsgobowlingx Another vote for option A. Love the shirt and the necklace. Those two colors look great together.

I got a call from my Dr office today. Passed the GD test (YAY!) but I am mildly anemic. So now I have to take iron pills. But thats not too bad.

  • @KrystaJ‌ we are taking the 2 week class and didn't get any info. I'd dress normal/comfy and bring a notebook. I've found that they usually provide anything you need the first class

@Narwhalicorns‌, those little ducklings are so cute. I've always wanted pet ducks too. I'm totally jealous.

My SS, we just re-listed our house on Saturday. Fingers crossed we get it sold before June!
  • My hospital only offers birthing classes one day at a time. Like I wil only take the class once on April 19th and I'm done. At least it was on a weekend that I am free!

  • Mint tea will give you heartburn because mint is a muscle relaxant and loosens the muscle that keeps your stomach contents inside your stomach. Sucks, because it helps a lot with nausea, and then makes heartburn worse.

Yup, definitely learned that the hard way :(

  • @rachel5130 what a good idea!!! Mmm! I'm sad you have no Wendy's!

  • I'm totally going to count the days left before leave tomorrow. On that note, I have had literally 7 meetings about training while I'm out. Literally. 3 with coworkers, 4 with just my boss. Each an hour. I haven't actually trained one person in one thing yet. It's completely ridiculous and a waste of time. But how annoying is it that my boss keeps saying, to me and to my coworkers, "hopefully Celeste will be here until June... If not we are going to have to do this earlier..." Like, maybe I might be put on headrest, maybe I might go into preterm labor, but if we could stop mentioning it so casually... Thatwouldbegreatthanks.

Like training people will be your priority if you go in to preterm labor.

I'm thiisssss close to just saying I'm done at the end of April. Except I don't know what I would do for 6 weeks. My mom once told me to never give more than 2 weeks notice. She was SO RIGHT.

  • I made the mistake of requesting my leave in January so we could get a head start on training. I'm going to be out for a while (5.5 months, yay!) and right now there's no new who knows my function at all.... So I thought it would be helpful to ask early and prepare. Nope, nothing but an effing nightmare for me. Next time, maybe I will wait until a month before my due date to request leave, lol.

  • @nnh7 - I shouldn't care but I also don't want to come back to a mess, either!

@lest12‌ I feel the same way! However, I also feel like that situation is inevitable on my end.

@nnh7 - me too. We should just stop caring (worrying, on my end) so much.
