The past few weeks, I've been wanting her to come ASAP. But now that I'm late, I'm really hoping she comes on Sunday (40w6d). That was my dad's birthday. She will never get to meet her grandpa, but she can share his bday!

Thank you guys for the hugs and kind words! I feel a little crazy today. I feel like I could have scared the baby with my crying and yelling. I even pounded my fist on the vanity. I feel like an awful mom and I'm close to crying at work right now:(

Thank you girls so much!! These contractions are no joke! I am still laboring at home and they have been about every 2-3 min lasting just less then a minute. Midwife and Doula want them to be more consistently a minute long before heading into the birth center!

I am also having a hard time finding my zen today.  I got a mani-pedi yesterday and there's already a chip on the side of my thumb.  I didn't sleep last night because baby girl decided that that left side of my body was hers to play with, and the pelvic pain was no joke.  I tossed and turned all night to the point that DH got up and slept in the spare bedroom.  And I didn't schedule a hair appointment because of a delivery, and I got a call this morning that the delivery is being postponed until Wednesday.  W.T.F.

I ordered a new cross-stitch project to help with the Zen thing, but it doesn't arrive until tomorrow.  I want/need it NAOW.....

Baby girl, here's the deal - we've said for MONTHS that you need to be an inside baby until 10 days before your due date.  Well, we've reached that day.  Please come out now!

I'm feeling pretty zen today despite not having any sleep. Heartburn and an over active little girl kept me up most of the night. The pelvic pain sucks even more today so I'm hoping that means she's dropping. DH took the day off so that's keeping me from losing my mind. Also, my dad's birthday is today and I get to make a huge dinner!

@Jt7dreamz‌ I did the same thing a couple weeks ago and banged the shit out of my arm to keep myself from completely falling. I said the same thing, at least LO is ok! But now I have what appears to be a huge ugly permanent scar on my forearm. Being this off balance sucks! Thanks pregnancy!

Ok. Zen is officially gone.

I have just been admitted to be induced due to low fluid. 39+5. Shit just got real.

I know it will take awhile so I will bump periodically.

I don't know if it counts as zen, but I haven't been all that worried today. Mostly I'm exhausted, and tired of feeling sick (even though I know it's just seasonal allergies acting up).

MH and I are going to watch Frozen together tonight (well, we hope to, so FX that actually happens, because I'm very excited for cuddles and a movie!) and I got to enjoy the sunshine at a lofty 49* F all this morning.

Time for a nap, I think.

On a side note, I've been wondering to myself if anyone on TB would notice if I suddenly went on radio silence for a day and wish labor vibes on me. XD And then I realized how selfish and dumb that thought was and downed some more chicken pot pie.

I stayed home from work today...my back kills. I woke up at 7...stayed up almost 10 and napped til almost 1. That nap was marv.

Now I'm back to willing out this LO. Lol. Comeeeee outttttttt.

I'm tired and sad today. I was up for a few hours in the middle of the night last night, and I had my 40 week appt this morning. I'm still not making any progress. The doctor will let me go to 42 weeks, so I might have two more weeks of this! I hope I go into labor this weekend. At least I'm on maternity leave an didn't have to go into work today. I'll count that as my zen!

I am zen now that I know Thursday will be the latest LO is in residence! I am still all for having him anytime! Membrane sweeping today has caused tons of discomfort maybe it will work!!!

We got an induction date this week too.  I have one more appointment on Monday which will include an NST and a membrane sweep.  If nothing happens we go in for an induction late on Thursday.  Right now I'm kind of bummed that my med free birth may not happen.

Now off to eat some more labor cake!

So glad to see a couple of us in this thread are about to meet their LOs! I have stayed away today because I was pretty grumpy and didn't want to drag anyone down with me. I did get a fabulous blow dry, then picked up some spicy food on way home. I feel a lil better now. Will probably take a nap shortly. Praying my water breaks while I'm sleeping!

@ewallace00 I always joke that going into labor is like Christmas morning. It can only come if you go to sleep. Cause, you know, I'm bound to have a middle of the night Hollywood style water breaking then going into labor situation.

Fabulous blow dry =insta zen. I pray the same every night. Which is why I wake up teary some days.

My morning wake ups are equally as disappointing! I want a Hollywood style gush haha

Today was pretty good. Actually got dressed in clothes and met a friend for lunch who is under a lot more stress than I am (in a nutshell: husband with new cancer diagnosis and she is pregnant). I really wanted to support her, and it was also good for me to get out of my own head and problems and think about someone else. We talked for an hour or so.

Theeeeeen I took myself out for coffee and to see Divergent just 'cuz. It was good! I kinda like going to movies by myself. Now I am home and contemplating dinner.........

Eh, I thought the movie was profoundly mediocre but I did like the actress a lot. I think it'd be easiest to follow if you'd read the books , but it's an action movie so....whatever!

Due date tomorrow. Nothing happening here. Still going to work because the thought of being home all day just waiting drives me nuts. Idk how to get thru another weekend of being pregnant. Planning on a nice long walk tomorrow and go for dinner at my fav restaurant hope that at least makes it better. Appointment on Tuesday morning to come up w a plan to get her out if nothing has happened by then.

@saisongbird It's more or less just chocolate cake with a few extras, at least the recipe I used. I think PP is right - it's about more about eating something yummy and relaxing. I used German Chocolate cake frosting just because I like it. Then again, I'm still pregnant, so what do I know.

I don't think one week and a day out from my EDD is too early to start trying OWT induction methods, do you? I'm going to try something spicy for dinner, and then some alone time with MH. Got my zen in the bag; now all I need is the baby!

Feeling more zen today than I was earlier this week - having a hospital tour Tuesday made me feel super anxious! Just getting a chance to get caught up on this thread now and happy to see others are doing acupuncture as well I think that is what is helping me find my zen again, I had my last treatment yesterday.
