I'm here. I want a bowl of cereal but I am lazy and I keep getting super dizzy/pass out when I stand up.
We have a bday party at the library to go to at 1130 and I need to clean the laundry room because they are coming and taking our washer and putting in a replacement because our washer only half washes the clothes now and we don't know why.
Just got home from the gym and DS's swim class. Told DS he has to play by himself for a while so I can chill. DH is trying to figure out what broke on his truck.
It is going to be almost 50 here today so we will probably spend a good amount of time outside.
I think I pulled a muscle at the gym, my ass hurts.
@studyinpink, she's fine, happy, watching music videos and singing. It's been about 3 hours since she threw up. I'm wondering if it was maybe the costco hot dog she and I shared yesterday, because I was feeling crampy last night and fine this morning.
Took DS across the street to the cemetery so he could ride his bike. I was hoping between that and swim class he would be tired enough to want to nap. Hahahaha, yeah right.
Survived a 3yr olds birthday party. Stuffed full of Greek food now from lunch & both kids napping. DH is also napping on couch.
Guess who is not napping?
The fucking groceries aren't going to just show up and hop into the fridge.
My whole family is napping too @ctgirl30. I should be working on the grocery list, but fuck it. If dh isn't worried about it, neither am I.
We had a big party last night. We got everything all cleaned up early, but DH claims he is not hungover yet has been on the couch now for hours on end. I'm bored and dying to get out of this house but there is nothing around here to do with a one year old and it is way too windy to do anything outside.
I finished the car (which was a complete disaster and took close to an hour) only to come inside and find DH laying in bed watching a movie, the bedroom not even started. All he really had to do was clean under the bed. Come on DH we have other things to do today!
Never got to the laundry today, DS been asleep since 3... so 3 hour nap?? MH fell asleep now too, so I'm sitting here on the loveseat, watching Chopped now, and thinking of doing some digital scrapbooking..
We went to the park and had a picnic In the morning with some friends, it was fun. Then in the afternoon I went to a friend's house with DD so MH could go grocery shopping and rest. I get home and he opens the door and says he can't help me with DD because he has to go back k to his nap. Wut??? I am beyond pissed.
Why is it after 13 years, DH still can't manage to remember I like my steak med-well to well. Not fucking raw! I know many here think more than bloody is over cooked, but I didn't eat meat for 12 years, if I'm gonna eat it now it's gonna be cooked! Why is it every fucking time he cooks a steak he says, "I cooked the hell out of this, it should be good for you" and every fucking time it is bright red and bloody. GROSS!! Needless to say I had mashed potatoes for dinner, because oh yeah, he forgot about a veggie too.
@haygurlhey, He knows and even comments on it while he's cooking/after he's done cooking. He just never manages to actually cook it properly. How hard is it to just cook it a little longer?
@maebb, you would think that would work, but for some reason when he does that I end up with a brick. :-( If he just cooked it a little longer in the first place it would be fine. I understand he doesn't like his as done as I do. So just cut it in 1/2 and cook one 1/2 more than the other. So not rocket science.
Party was amazing. Exhausted much. Words are hard. I may be sniffling a little over the one-year milestone tomorrow. Not because I still want her to be a little baby, but because I'm amazed at what has happened in a year and how great she is and how lucky I am to have her.
We were at gymnastics and he wasn't listening and rolling around on the ground. I leaned down to pick him up and I must have stepped on his bare foot as I was lifting him. His foot it black and blue and he cried so hard. All of the other parents were staring an he was yellig "Mommy you hurt me".

I would let him go outside and play if he was was acting fine but would maybe keep him from other kiddos in case he has the stomach bug.
