So I'm about 37.5 weeks now and due March 1. Although it looks like I'm most likely getting induced on Feb. 24 because of GD. But that's a whole different story. Anyway...I've been taking pictures of myself every couple weeks to keep track of my growing bump. And I've noticed that my boobs haven't really grown! They look almost the same size as pre-pregnancy! Is this normal? Should I be worried? I just kinda figured my boobs would be huge by now. Anyone else have this happen to them or have any thoughts to share?? I guess I'm just mostly worried about being able to breastfeed. I don't want this to effect my supply.
I should also mention that my belly has grown normally; I've gained about 20 lbs so far.
Re: Boob question
Edit: the correct terminology is twat-waffle. Come on get it right!
While we're correcting each other, you forgot to capitalize the "Y" in you. And you forgot to put a period after the word "effect."
You also are welcome.
You clearly understood the meaning, since you answered the question. As did everyone else.
Is there a message board for mothers with poor grammar? Go there.
Breast size has nothing to do with breast feeding. Change in breast size has nothing to do with breast feeding.
ETA - And thank god that massive growth isn't standard. I would be at risk of suffocating at this point of that were the case.

- A picture made you realize that your boobs haven't changed. Not that they haven't actually physically changed cup size. A picture. Do you see how ridiculous that seems?
- You used the board as human google. Many women here have not breastfed yet. And even if they did, their boob size and change would have no bearing on yours.
- Throwing your weight in there makes it feel like a veiled weight post. Hey guys, I haven't gained a bajillion pounds! That's okay, right?!??!? That never ever goes well on this board.
And then you came back swinging because you didn't like the responses. No one owes you anything, FYI. Especially if you ask a pretty dumb question. If you don't like the tone of the board, you don't have to hang out. And I'm not even trying to be a bitch here. Just honest. Think of it as my PSA for this afternoon. (Insert 'the more you know' gif here)
My boobs have grown two cup sizes (one in the first tri, and another in the second tri), and my milk started coming in around 20-ish weeks. That being said, one of my girlfriends has tiny boobs and hers barely grew. She gave birth in December at 37 weeks, and up to that point, her milk hadn't come in. But although she had an epi, c-section, and her baby spent some initial time in the NICU, she was able to breastfeed like a champ right from the get-go. So, really, you are normal, and you will likely be able to BF just fine.

I have no shame in saying that I just watched your horny boo boo gif for about 5 minutes straight. That said, my post was a failed and miserable attempt at me trying to make a joke about how OP is complaining about her small boobies. It was supposed to be like "But where is there room for a weight post to hide, if her boobs haven't grown big enough for it to hide in?". I lose.
And since you "googled it many moons ago," it must have been a concern of yours at some point or at least you were curious. So don't judge me for having the same concern.
P.S. Blow me.

Yep, that will go a long way in endearing yourself to an established community. You know, as you seem to think that these internet strangers who you haven't supported owe you answers and stories and support. I'm sure this won't be the last time you take your uneducated questions to the internets.
No one here needs your validation to react to stupid questions posted by relative strangers. Lectures don't work here. By all means, have your meltdown if it makes you feel good. But know that it won't make any difference to anyone else.
And I'm not worried; the bitchiness doesn't phase me at all. At least it provides some entertainment for me while I neglect the pile of work on my desk!
He is gorgeous! I sit in the living room while my H watches Supernatural just to stare =]
