Anyone else's LO being an adorable little asshole by popping off and on while nursing to grin and coo at you?
It's totes precious but counterproductive.
Here too. I posted a thread about this the other day. He pops off and smiles and laughs and then buries his back, like it's some adorable game... until we are trying to nurse in public. Then not so adorable.

I am a little bummed that I've lost my 1 year badge but oh well.

I'm having a huge decision-making crisis over whether or not to order the size 2 diapers when my Amazon Mom shipment comes in on 11/5 or to stick with the size 1. The size 1s fit her perfectly right now but according to the information, she'll be at the low end of the size 2s in a little bit. I don't want to end up with a whole bunch of diapers that are going to be too small for her. I also don't want to end up with a bunch of diapers that are going to be too big for her and cause leaking. Argh!
I've never had leaking from diapers that were too big. It was always the ones that got too small that leaked (and were the obvious sign it was time to move up). I'd go with the next size up if I were you.

Yep, ditto! The 2s won't go to waste and if you find they're too big you can always buy a smaller pack of 1s to hold you over if need be.
1,042 diapers changed since LittleDude was born 3 months ago.
Good thing that lil' poop is adorable.
Do you count the ones that get dirty/wet in the course of changing them?
Yup. Every pee and poop is registered. Color, consistency, size. I've got graphs outlining it. Very helpful when needing to compare my diet to when he got the runs. Baby Connect is a great app.
I really hope you print these graphs out and show him to his future wife someday.
Ha! @litera, your post made me curious, so I added up July-October's dirty diapers in my Baby Tracker app. It says I also have changed 1,042 diapers. Except that I am quite certain I've missed entering a few dozen diapers here and there.
Also, I am too chicken to add up all the minutes I've spent nursing.
Hi everyone! I'm new to the bump. Woot woot! I have a beautiful baby girl born July 16th. Been lurking for a few days now and this is where it seems everyone posts. Anyway, my little one goes through about 12 diapers a day now. I cloth diaper thankfully so I don't have to buy disposables except for when we go out and about. After seeing over 1000 diapers it made me very thankful of that fact!
No, like @darkangel42 said, I just buy less and wash them. I can't imagine buying over 1000 diapers at 3 months. I've bought a total of 30 diapers. And I won't need to buy anymore through potty training, and I can use them for baby #2. But, disposables are very easy. I can see where they are useful.

How 'bout burgundy? I feel like burgundy would convey sarcasm pretty well.
