I have a blocked duct and it's causing a fever. I'm secretly pleased because, for reasons unknown, production goes up when blocked ducts happen so I can keep BFing a little longer instead of switching onto formula.
I just read this on my local mom facebook group page -
A woman asked about the moisture under her baby's neck. Several advised on how to safely (and normally!) clear it up. One woman writes that she has raised 7 kids & every time her kids had mushy necks (<-- my words not hers) she put a dirt dobber nest in a white washcloth, smashed it to bits & then rubbed the dust on the wet part of their necks.(<-- her words not mine) Apparently this cleared it right up. She goes, "you may think I'm crazy but...."
Yes. Yes I DO think you are certifiably crazy in the head. I do not need to find a dirt dobber nest & rub my baby with it. I'll just put a thin smear of butt paste on her neck. She'll be good as new tomorrow.
I just got pulled over for the first time ever. He said I was going 85 in a 65. I certainly was not going that fast and there was a car passing me!! Wtf. Landen was screaming in the back of the car and he said maybe because you were distracted. Umm fuck you dbag.. He's screaming because you made me stop my car and he doesn't like when the car's not moving.. And also maybe you should have pulled over the person passing me...... He took 20 minutes to write me a ticket in his car for something I didn't do while my poor baby screamed and screamed. UGHH I'm so pissy now!!!
@mamalacy21 - Thank you. I was just so nervous about pumping for three days straight without any nursing. Plus, I don't have enough stash for a trip at this point.
I am TOTALLY not emotionally ready to leave her. I love my boss, but i think it's crappy that he even asked me to come back early, let alone travel so far.
So I am at working and bumping while pumping. I am also eating goldfish(thanks to my three year old leaving them in the car) with my left hand. So I am reading a post, pumping, bumping, snacking and go to pick up my water and take a sip except it's my mason jar of pumped breast milk!! Wtf... Who does that? =D>
@matthew930 I think my mom is at your house! I swear she acts the exact same way. My fil is also trying to use Ava as a reason why I should clean the house better. I just saw a dog hair tumbleweed so I guess their hints aren't working.
Didn't get paid Thursday (listed as pay day). Or Friday (occasionally get paid a day after). Or today (so far but I'm not holding my breath).
Didn't get an answer yet about when pay will happen.
Pay is via PayPal so it's another few days to withdraw to bank account and we need groceries but I only have $20 until my pay shows up.
Didn't have any projects for almost a month, signed in this morning and the new one is up so started working on it.
I'm pretty sure they have the pay grade listed wrong too as last project it was $2 per unit but they've said $2.50 per unit for this project in the most recent email for the same kind of work. I don't want to count on an extra 50c per unit then find out it's wrong when the pay comes in because it makes a huge difference to my total overall and I also don't want to do extra units to make the difference up if I don't have to. No-one's answered about this, either.
It's a type of wasp.
And that lady is fucking insane.
WAIT. Hold the phone.
She was crushing up a fucking mud wasp nest??????

We have family pictures with DH's family in November and they are doing grey/mustard/purple as the combos. I had the cutest dress picked out online at baby gap and went to order it today and they are sold out of her size, when they had it 2 days ago. (It's an online only style). I had mine and DH's outfit planned around hers, and had the accessory combos all figured out. Now I can't find anything else that I even think it decent anywhere else and now I'm completely stressed and so disappointed that I don't get to use what we had planned. I think if I do find anything else I'll just be thinking about how it's not as good as what I originally wanted.
First world rant ended. I'm going to pout and have a pity party over this.
Um, I'm just sitting over here getting excited for when it will be socially acceptable to wear boots in Phoenix. It's so tempting but it's sit cm kittill over 100 degrees. So jealous. In other news, I have to go to a baby shower for another teacher at my school. Holy balls, I just finished looking at her registry, and I am exhausted. You could definitely tell she is a ftm, because as I'm scrolling I kept track of all the things I never used that she registered for. I feel kinda mean.
I'm a ftm and probably did this some but I know not much. I have a friend who is pregnant and keeps asking me if she needs all this total Crap. I tell her no she argues and/or says well it couldn't hurt....that's fine just get it but don't ask me my opinion. If you need 3 damn different types of swings go for it. It's your clutter but don't expect me to affirm that they are all necessary.
Just saw this... It's crazy how unnecessary 75% of the baby items moms are told they need is just crap. Also, don't register for 100 books. You'll get them anyways.
The bump app updated on my phone and now I hate it!
Yes!!!! WTF happened????
I was hoping it was a glitch. Worst nightmare confirmed!
I don't care for this change at all...
This. Wtf!
This is why I've but been bumping the last day or so. I hate this stinking layout. It's awful and is unappealing. Plus, it tries to be centered but it's not so It throws off the whole fung-shway it's going for...
DH after watching me pump: "I still think it's weird that milk comes out of your boobs." Really, dude? We've been doing this for a couple of months now.

I freaked out my husband last night when he asked why I always rub them when I feed ds. I told him it was to help get the milk out and squeezed the boob, accidentally spraying him in the face! Whoopsie
Yeah I've run out of randomness. Well not really. Soooo I'm going back to work tomorrow but I get to take dd with me until she is six months old so I'm actually very excited to return to work. I'm just nervous I'm going to forget something (like diapers).
Anyone ese have foods they ate and loveeedd when they were pregnant and eat them now and think "eh its ok but just not the same.." [-(
Yes. All I wanted while pregnant was meat and spicy foods. Now it gives me heartburn and I just crave coffee and chocolate (my two loves that made me gag during pregnancy)..weird.

That seems a little nutbar-ish.
I need to rage about work.

I'm so grouchy today.

I lost my love affair with pizza after DS1 was born.
Luckily for my taste buds it returned after awhile (not so luckily for my waist line).
