Eta more of the story- Lost my plug this a.m. which is straight up nastiness. I'm between a 3 and 4cm now, on magnesium. The ctx space out, then get close. They're currently spacing out but arecrazyintense. Ialso haven't slept at all, which sucks too.
I'll be seeking you guys as entertainment today.

I have died every day waiting for you. Darling, don't be afraid, I have loved you for a thousand years. And all along I believed I would find you, time has brought your heart to me. I have loved you for a thousand years. I'll love you a thousand more.
People are freaking out around here about the severe storm passing through pretty much the entire state of Nebraska. All I needed was a bag of dog food from the grocery store and there were people everywhere! You'd think the world was ending or something with the way people were scurrying around the store and filling their carts.
That's what happens when the weathermen mention that is might, just maybe, snow, sleet or ice here. I hate it when I need something and have to go to Kroger in that mess.

You can break your tailbone while giving birth?!? Someone give me a paper bag to breathe into STAT!
Convo with DH after this comment (backstory: we have repeatedly joked about the idea of push presents because we think it is ridiculous):
Me: If I break my butt pushing out this baby, I totally deserve a present!
DH: I will get you a donut.
Edible donut or butt donut? Hell, let him get you one of each!
He said he would get me one of each (a donut to eat and a donut to sit on while I eat it). Haha. Make it a dozen and that'll do! ;-)
(But seriously.. if I break my butt when this goes down... I don't need DH to buy me jewelry or anything but I'm probably going to need some serious retail therapy! ;-))
My Doc took me out of work last week because of blood pressure. Today I found out I should be on my feet less than 2 hrs a day. Uck. Also I get weekly scans to check the baby so thatll be lots lots more seeing LO which Ill go ahead and be excited about.
Also on my way to my prenatal massage a bird flew into my window and I saw it hit the ground and flop behind me but I couldnt do anything and now I feel absolutely terrible. :-(

My birth class instructor told me that it's possible to break your tailbone. Especially if baby come "Sunnyside Up" because the back of his head is pushing against your spine. She said that you should either push on your side and have your partner push against your tailbone from the beginning to the end of your contraction or try pushing leaning your forearms against something like a birthing ball.

This is good to know! I was reading a birth story this morning where a woman said she broke her tailbone and tore with her last pregnancy. And I was like:
@TallMomma29 Your gif is perfect. I'm sure you'll be fine.
I sure hope so! I know I'll be fine either way.. but if I do break my tailbone, I will not be one of those moms that is all sweet with my birth story. I will be all "AND THEN SHE BROKE MY BUTT, Y'ALL." with gifs. So just be ready for that everyone! ;-)

It's also apparently possible for the baby to rip your cervix on the way out.
My friend just had her second, and got her wish of a VBAC. Except he came out with his arm with his face and tore all through her cervix on the way out. There were A LOT of stitches.
Even worse? She over did it and ripped her stitches. So now it just has to heal up naturally because they can't get in to re-do them.
Your welcome for that horror story. It's been sitting on my mind for weeks.

SO is making fun of me because I was so hangry that my lunch consists of the first few things I could get my hands on in the kitchen... which in this case is spagetti-o's, goldfish crackers, and orange soda.... he says I eat like a 5 year old.
I might go back for some string cheese too....
I mean, the fact that those items were available in your kitchen does give some proof to his statement...
Re: Random thread- for all things random.
Oh because DW and I just had a super long, deep and mind blowing discussion about god and science.
