DH comes home tonight and I'm only partly happy. Things have been less loud, messy, and stressful with all his traveling. And I get more done when he is gone. I'm glad because the kids miss him.
More of a TMI Tuesday: Since it has been so long since having to deal with a period I forgot to put a tampon in after my shower this AM. Realized it during my drive to work after I dropped Lil Dude off at DC. Fuck.
I have another. I purposeful keep getting my nails done so I have a legit excuse not to clean. Our place is a mess. Luckily the maid is coming on Monday. But I like to upkeep in between her visits.
I took an OPK this morning and it was positive. I'm not cleared for sex until my post-op appt on Wednesday. DH and I have been debating TTC and I actually am considering breaking the rules...
2nd one: I'm feeling slightly stabby about the full fledged baby shower that is getting planned for a friend's second baby next week and kind of don't want to go. I looked at her registry and there's stuff like an expensive double stroller, etc. I probably wouldn't care as much if it wasn't for the fact that this friend is super cheap and never buys gifts for other people at parties/showers but expect a crapload at her own...
Break those rules unless your health would seriously be in jeopardy. MOAR BABIES.
I have never waited until 6 weeks PP to DTD... not the same as surgery, so...take that into consideration when making your decision. ha!
FFFC -- I hate my new boss. Sure she was cool enough to "allow" me to work from home, but she's such an overbearing micromanager and requests that I do her "bitch work" it's ridiculous. She's a nice lady but she's suffocating me and this will likely mean I find new employment. I work better w/o someone constantly over my shoulder telling me what to do how to do it, and then asking me 20x in the same day if I've done it, when it's not due until 3 weeks from now.

@Carrie3102 - I have no clue if a couple days early would make a big difference, but I'm pretty sure if I called my OB she would tell me not to do it. Ha.
And sorry you hate your boss. Sounds like an awful situation.

Dude. Get a Diva Cup.
And thanks to whomever recommended it on here. Life changing. Thank you.
And sorry about your pants.
Thankfully I had tampons in my pump bag. If I had the diva cup, forgot to put it back in after my shower and left it at home, I'd be SOL!
Pants are OK (thankfully I wore the dark wash jeans), but my fav pair of underwear... if Clorox 2 doesn't fix it, RIP. (
I've been trying very hard to dress more professional at work, but today I gave in and am wearing yoga pants. I'm very comfy and it was totally worth it.
I don't like Starbuck's. May be more of a UO...I just drink plain coffee and theirs is just ok.
Completely agree.
Yup. My local coffee shop up the block has way better coffee and espresso. Starbucks is all about the flair, not the coffee.

I went to a local bakery this morning and got a giant cinnamon bun for breakfast. I used cash so DH won't know since we are trying to do better. I feel better getting that off my chest ;;)
Another FFFC: I only added one new friend from TB on FB last night (someone I've had a bump crush on for a long time), and then I shut it down. I was afraid of this happening...
To quote Jackson from the FB thread "I don't even know who is adding me anymore. I'm just adding everyone. I probably added a creepy psycho killer."
I don't understand the point of adding tons of people to your FB just to have them as FB friends, when you don't even know who you are adding.

But if you had a Diva cup, you would have just washed it out in the shower and popped it back in so you probably wouldn't have forgotten. ;-)
Diva cup rocks! I only have to change it twice a day b/c my flow isn't heavy. Once in the morning and once at night.
I hate Friday weddings. I know there are tons of reasons people have them but it is a pain in the ass to get to. Get out of work early, have to get ready at work and drive extra to get LO and take her to a sitter.
Because on top of being a Friday wedding it is an adult only reception. Which is fine but just a pain in the ass.
1. I always send the twins puréed peaches at daycare because while they love them, I think they smell like feet.
2. Andrew has thrown up a couple of times in the last few weeks, and while I'm cleaning him and myself, the dogs clean the floor. It's gross, but I'm not about to stop them. Less work for me!
On posts that have lots of love tits I go through and say a screename in my head to everyone's avatar by remembering who's name goes with what picture. I can pretty much name all of the regulars. Dh is not so impressed with this skill.
@mainerocks yep I have, and I got the diva cup for after child birth and I almost feel like it's too big or something, is that possible? I never used one prior to having my LO.
@robynloureed, I'm sorry your going through this! It is so frustrating how men don't seem to understand all of the effort that goes in to being a mom. Irritating.
Thanks guys, maybe it just a rough patch but I am fed up. Last week he went off on how I let myself go. I only do my hair and makeup when we meet up with friends and I never want to look nice for him. That was honestly the last straw. I've been telling myself and everyone that every thing is great and we're so in love blah blah blah. It's not true. I haven't felt that way in a very long time. I don't bring it up anymore because I'm sick of being called a bitch all the time. I'm just trying to keep the peace for now.
I'm so sorry lovey. What a dick thing for him to say.
FFFC: I am still wearing maternity underwear though I stopped wearing all other mat. stuff awhile ago. I splurged and got some nice low cut pea in the pod undies when I was KU'ed since I carried so low with LO that my regular undies would just roll down! I would love to retire these and take myself on a little shopping spree at Victoria's Secret though! Might need to do that soon!
@asbromle The cups hurt me too. I haven't tried diva, just the soft cup. It hurt like hell so I never used it again.
@robynloureed Like someone said, it gets tough after having a baby. The 1st year is the worst. After awhile, both people usually adjust and accept that things are different. I hope this is the case for you.

Our dog cleans up all of the messes at our house. Ds1 had horrendous reflux and our dachshund cleaned it all up. In fact, he gained about 2 lbs because of it. When you only weigh 16 lbs, that's a lot!
I'm gonna slap my FIL silly if he keeps mentioning a fourth child. He keeps bringing it up, kind of in a joking way, but I was extremely explicit with him last weekend. I said, "actually, like I've said before, the doctor is recommending that we not have any more children. I almost died having the twins, and since we are so happy with our three boys, we don't want any more." It does make my heart hurt to know that we can't have any more, but we really don't want any more anyways. I just don't want to talk about it anymore. My FIL is an ass though, so there's that.
Re: FFFC
My mom just weaned her a month or two ago, and every time I feed Kallie she eyes me. She's even laid down on my lap and asked haha.
Around about 3am I was so desperate for sleep. I didn't do it. But I strongly considered.
WTH is a diva cup? Also, if it eliminates pad and tampons i'm already on board.

I'm sorry to hear this @robynloureed. I know you guys have been having issues. I hope it gets better or you get out. Whichever will make you happier.
Babies are such a stress on all relationships, they are a real game changer. Thinking of you.

Anyway, my FFFC is that I have a very addictive personality. At the moment I'm addicted to exercising.
