I am so sorry you are going through such a scary time. I hope it was just a bad lab result and that your baby is going to be okay. Prayers and (((hugs)))!
Sending huge hugs your way - I can't imagine what a shock that news must have been.
Did they say if they recommended running the blood again? I did the amnio with this pregnancy (mainly b/c I wanted to know with absolute certainty what was going on, and the small chance of false information with the blood test was enough to make me crazy), so I can say that it wasn't that big of a deal. It is a very small risk to you or the baby - MUCH smaller, in my case, than the chance for any of the genetic issues. I know it isn't everyone's bag, and it isn't the most fun I've ever had, but it definitely isn't as bad as I thought it might be.
I'm so sorry you are dealing with this. It kind of sounds like an unbalanced translocation from what you've described...did they mention that as a possibility? An amnio would tell you for sure what you're dealing with but I'm sure that's not an easy decision to make. Sending you many T&P.
I'm so sorry. I am in just about the same place as you, so I know well the pain of feeling baby move. In my case, there is no medical hope of my son surviving. It is just a waiting game, unfortunately. The unknown is such a scary place to be when it comes to our babies. The only thing I can tell you is that the only thing that has kept me from completely crumbling is knowing that God is holding my son and already knows what is going to happen and is guarding my and my husbands hearts closely. He wants to comfort you in the same way if you ask him to. Hang in there mama and I hope you get results quickly. Waiting is agonizing. I'll be praying for you and please contact me if you want to talk.

I am so sorry. Our baby boy also has issues, too, and we go to MFM every 2 weeks for an ultrasound to basically tell us if there is still hope or not for his survival It is so, so hard to feel him move and know that there is nothing I can do to keep him safe forever. We had the Harmony done, and honestly if our results would have come back like yours, I would have gone through with the amnio. It is a very personal decision, but it does give you some certainty. I will pray for you and your little guy. Hang in there.
