Yesterday I had lunch with a girlfriend from college (we graduated in 2003), she told me that today tuition is $62K A YEAR!!!! WTF!!!

When we went it was around $32K which was still really high 10 years ago, but seriously, it doubled!!! We both agreed that the education/experience/connections we got were NOT worth $62K.

It was a small private liberal arts college in rural PA.

I think my boys will all be plumbers as that will be all we can afford when the time comes.

I lovvvvvvvvvvvve painting my nails. I just don't have the discipline to let them dry... then I let them go until way beyond needing to be redone or taken off.

I got gel polish as a "one time thing" for my wedding 3 years ago. And then ended up getting them done every other week until March 1.

I had a French, so I still have a little of the clear polish on my nails. Luckily you can't tell.

I think I'm going to keep them short until Isla and future LO are a little older.

Chip factor. I get less chipping with higher quality nail polish.

I asked my hubby the same thing and he said maybe it was like the more expensive paint and has primer in it so fewer coats are required

I just lean over. But I have D's to DD's so it may be easier for me.

OMG as if we haven't had enough plumbing problems now our pressure tank seems to be dying and all the water is coming out in a trickle.

My nipples hurt and LO screamed all day and MH said he'd take him this evening but worked instead and also said he'd bring me chocolate to make up for it but worked so late all the stores were closed and (ETA) my car is in the shop so I have been trapped in the damn house and AAAAHHHH NO WATER PRESSURE.

So. Damn. Cranky.

Aaaaaand MH just got home and wanted to vent to me about his bad day. The lumber company screwed up his delivery so his job had to be postponed and his client was pissed. So he went fishing for a couple of hours while figuring out what to do next. He considers this a rotten day.

So he's telling me about his horrible day and says it's "not fair" for me to be jealous of him for getting out of the house because I wanted to be a parent so I need to accept the bad days.

I told him he had to be on kid duty NOW because I was losing my mind and now Arthur is SCREAMING while MH guts his catch in the kitchen sink.

Did I mention I've been EPing all day because my nipples hurt so much? I have done eleventy billion dishes with no water pressure and I. Am. So. Cranky.

Nope! I hate manicures and pedicures. I will occasionally paint my own toenails in the summer since I live in sandals. For my wedding I used a pale pink polish on both hands and feet. It was the first time I'd painted my fingernails in years.

On Nails: I do not do them.  I love how they look the few times I have done them.  But for the past 6 years I always had to keep my nails incredibly short for rugby.


And my mom fail of the (yester)day: I decided to read a book from my iPad to Layla yesterday.  Figured it wouldn't make much difference and I didn't want to get up to get one of her books.  The very first line?

"My mother is a prostitute."

And she gave me this huge ass grin, so I just kept reading it to her.

Just had a flashback to my induction. We had to check in at 4 am, but then had to wait for a room to open up so we were sent to the lobby. They had the Disney channel on. And the same show is on now that I'm up pumping. I never come downstairs and watch tv while pumping so I haven't seen it since that day. That was almost 3 months ago. Crazy how time flies.

I have a baby shower today and then MH and I are taking A to see MH's grandparents tomorrow, which means we will stay in a hotel 1 night.

I keep running through my head all the baby shit I will need and it seems like a ton. My gas guzzling SUV is going to be packed!

On that note, use the hotel crib or bring the PNP that he is used to sleeping in?

@WoodShopGirl‌ I am also traveling this weekend and am just going to pop him in my mom's laundry basket. I'll probably put his playmat on the bottom for coziness and familiarity.

In a hotel I'd just use their crib, or, in a pinch, an empty drawer (pulled out of the dresser!)

I travel really light with my kiddo. I'm about to go on a trip for a week ( !!!!!!! ) and think I'll be able to get away with a backpack and my diaper bag.

If folks want I can post pics of what I will take.

And @everyone THANK YOU! Your well- wishes did the trick. Woke up this AM to water pressure again. We all went out to brunch, and now the boys are out fishing. Just finished pumping, and now have the rest of the day to myself!!!!!!!

Am now going to vanish from TB till my next pumping session. TTFN!

Joe just took Isla home. I am chilling at my moms pool for an hour, and tonight I'm going to her work party (free meal, open bar). This is my first time away from her. I'm sad, but it's good practice for when I go back to work.
