If other people are allowed to eat on the bus then so are babies. I would have whipped it out and plunked it down on the table then and there.

Have you seen an orthopedist? I had a horrible cyst after having DS1 and lived in pain for way too long. All it took was one hydrocortisone shot and the pain was gone for good. Hope you feel better soon!

I got another one. Yesterday at work I left my frozen meal in the fridge to eat today for lunch. Meaning I did not pack anything but a beverage and a protein bar for after my pump session.

I walked into work today, and some one "cleaned" the fridge. I work with men so one of them decided to throw away anything that was in a box. So my frozen meal, and someone had some frozen veggies also tossed. What was left was a doggie bag box that had been in there three weeks, a bottle of soda with less than a quarter left, and a quarter of a container of cream cheese. I am beyond pissed, as one, airport food is expensive, and two, I left my wallet at home. So all I have to eat today is a protein bar. I hate this place. On top of that, my water bottles were left on the table, meaning I have no cold water. Ugh...today is such a shit day

The accountant at DH's work forgot to pay for health insurance this month. Dd ison his insurance. We had our 6 mos appt and shots this morning.

So, I had to pay cash for all those shots and the appointment itself.

Not cool.

I will be sending a bill to DH's work. Although, if they didn't pay the insurer, I doubt they'll pay me.

I'm just recuperating from one I got last week.  I put on some crap my mom bought me (some tincture stuff from Walgreens - maybe iodine???) and it leaves a stain.  It works great to dry it up (along with the antibiotics I got from my dr).  My lip is no longer swollen and the sore is pretty much healed up but the "scar" is there and it's stained so I still look funny.

I feel like this also belongs on TMI Tuesday because I'm so embarrassed by it!

@Revez I really wanted to scratch her eyes out, but dh is sooo non confrontational and he kept trying to steer the conversation away and try and calm me down! I asked her what should this woman have done differently given that her baby needed feeding and get this, she had the nerve to say that she should have asked her " permission" to breastfeed. Like wtf?!! Is that seriously warped or what!?

Not sure if this is a bitch, or a blessing...buuuuut
I agreed to let MIL babysit Sat night, but told MH that she needs to listen to our instructions (she usually ignores us) or it would be the last time. He tells her this (to listen, not that we wouldn't let her watch LO anymore), and she gets all sorts of butt hurt. She was super awkward when we dropped her off and picked her up. Now, turns out MIL isn't talking to us. SIL said its BC she's upset that we dont think she's good enough to watch LO.
Ugh. Whatever. If I give you instructions like you dont need to feed LO until 8, dont try and feed her at 7, and waste all that milk!! How is this a hard concept. We weren't even rude about it. Butt hurt, much??

WTF!!! DH wouldnt have even tried to hold me back at that point (permission). I would have lost it!

I have 3 deadlines coming up at work. I'm nowhere near complete on any of them. I care because I hate when things aren't done on time, but I don't all at the same time. Snuggling is more important to me.

11 days ago it was just the left ear, it didn't get better so we called pedi and they said to come in, now it's a double ear infection!!! Dammit! Good thing my school called off for today and tomorrow for the weather so I can stay home and comfort him. But, go to pick up his prescription at Costco, and some random woman touches his carseat in the cart and almost touched his face. Seriously?!?! Bitch, you don't just get to help yourself to touch a person's baby or carseat that they are in!! She stopped short of touching his face when I gave her a look. I was sitting in the chairs by the pharmacy on the phone with my mom telling her what the dr said, so I also made sure to say "infection" loud enough for her to hear!!

Do we have the same MIL?? But no really.. It's a blessing. Mine never shuts up.. Even after we've expressed the need the follow our instructions. I just can't grasp why it's so difficult to comprehend.

A similar situation happened to me when a family member recently passed away.

Some people are clueless and don't realize the added pain finding out news like that online causes.
