Oh. And I'm married. This baby is due on our third anniversary.
2. Where are you from? Currently living in Boston, spent the first 6 years of our marriage in NYC, went to high school in Salt Lake City.
3. Is this your first baby? If not, how many do you have? How many children do you want? This is our first! Hoping it's a sticky bun in the oven!
4. Tell us something interesting about yourself! We've got a 12 year old chihuahua and a 12 year old siamese cat...they fight like little old ladies! And my sister in law just announced that she is 7 weeks pregnant (we haven't told anyone yet), so if this pregnancy sticks, the baby will have a cousin super close in age!

I have my mom's trombone. She played in high school and college and my great grandmother played trombone as well! My favorite band to play with was the UC Davis Cal Aggie Band-uh! (you have to have the 'uh!') in there. It was a voluntary marching band so it was just a bunch of college band nerds having way too much fun!

3. Is this your first baby? No. It also wasn't planned. I was on birth control. I'm also still spotting so we'll see what my second HCG blood test says tomorrow. We have 1 already (siggy). And we say we want 4 but we'll see what actually happens.

Something interesting about myself.. hmmm. Well, I'm starting college this month for Chemical Dependency Counseling. This is what I love.
1. How old are you? Seems that I am the granny here. I'm 40 (my DH is as well) and will be just about 41 when this LO arrives. Gotta love the classification "Advanced Maternal Age"
Are you married? If so, for how long? DH and I got married in June 2012--2 1/2 years, but we've been together for 11 years. Yes...I waited 8 LONG years for him to propose.
2. Where are you from? Born and raised on Long Island. Originally from Suffolk County. Now I live in Nassau not far from Queens border.
3. Is this your first baby? If not, how many do you have? This is our 2nd pregnancy. We have a 14 month old son. He arrived 5 weeks early (pre-e with HELLP) in Oct 2012 in the midst of Hurricane Sandy here on Long Island. He will have SOME story to tell when he is older.
How many children do you want? I have always wanted 4....but---starting at 39 kind of ends that dream. DH wants two---so this will likely be our last. Those of you starting out early...enjoy. Doing sleepless nights and chasing the energizer bunny around is not easy at 40! I wish I had the stamina I did in my early 30's!
4. Tell us something interesting about yourself!
I'm a 4th grade teacher. Love my students and my work, but miss my boy terribly during the day. Daycare drop off sucks!
I met my DH on Match.com when online dating was just becoming a "thing."
I have a pacemaker implant. Have had it since I was 24 after I started passing out randomly when my BP and HR would just crash. I now travel around the US speaking on behalf of the company that made the device I have now. I am their "success story." This is the first time a pacemaker has been designed to specifically treat the condition I have. My Little guy was a perfect prop the last time I spoke--my miracle baby. At 24 I was told I would never have a child.

Tell us something interesting about yourself! Hmm, I married my DH less than 3mths after meeting him. We talked about it one Saturday night and the following Saturday we were married.

4. I work during the day as an Administrator in a school district. But on weekends I'm a singer and guitar player and I work at usually small events or weddings. Not all the time, but enough to keep me happy.

All over the place! Lived in Ohio for a good chunk of my life then another large chunk in Virginia. Then my husband went into the Navy and we've been to DC and now we're stationed in San Diego.

2. Where are you from? Northeast Ohio - where the windchill was -40 yesterday!!
3. Is this your first baby? If not, how many do you have? How many children do you want? This will be our second. Our DS will be 3 in March. I always thought I wanted 3 kids, but I think this will be our last.
4. Tell us something interesting about yourself! In our family, we like to lump our birthdays together. My DH's b-day is March 16th, DS's is March 17th, and my dad's is March 18th. My MIL's birthday is August 30th, so it's very possible that LO #2 shares or comes close to sharing her birthday!

I'm a SAHM with a busy house! Between DH, 2 DDs, 3 dogs, and a bird, there's never a dull moment! I can only imagine what it will be like to add a baby to the mix
