End of the month ladies

My EDD is Jan 2 - that's 2 weeks people! I'm anxious to get things going but feel as unprepared as you end of the month ladies too. I had a conversation with my LO tonight and I asked him if he was to come early to at least wait until after Christmas. But the fact that it really could be any day now is mind blowing. In some ways I have the same disbelief as when I first found out. Crazy!

I know I have to make it 2 more weeks before I can have. Water birth, so that's keepin me from knocking on my belly and asking him to come out. I don't think i'll make it to 40 weeks, even though I was 11 days late (im sorry mon!). I'm notoriously impatient.

Fuck no! Well I'm due in 2ish weeks and nothing I ready and I am definitely in denial about the whole thing actually. I'm terrified of my water breaking at work.
I am not terribly uncomfortable or sore yet, so I think pleae stay in baby, I am not ready for you yet!!!

I seriously want this LO in my arms, but I want to her to wait until she is at least 37 weeks (as if we could send in a request) 

I am pretty sure when I actually go in labor, we will be wishing they could stay in a little longer because once she is out, she will actually be one day closer to hating me (teenage drama- lol)

Im so conflicted, I'm so done and would love to deliver next week when it's safe, (36 weeks is full term for twins) but I really want to get out of the Christmas range so babies have a good birthday! If Christmas was not a factor, I'd be doing everything to get this party started! Instead I'm on self imposed bed rest lol

I'm an end of the month lady but met with my MFM yesterday and will be induced either January 12th or January 19th (37-38 weeks).  I don't feel ready so I'm ok with him staying in there as long as possible!

I really am grateful for the extra 5 weeks to get ready. I feel so unprepared! But, my heart thumps a little extra hardmwhen I see all our J14 friends with their little ones already. I still have freezer meals to make, deep cleaning to do, Christmas traveling to get through, how not to screw up as a mom books to read... Sigh. I will get it all done if it kills me!

@quidditchcapn1120 - Ugh, shucks - you are my "due date buddy" of the 29th. So are they going to evaluate closer to the date whether it's going to be the 12 or 19?
Random - I thought of you yesterday as I took the kids to the dentist. It was DS2's first time (he is 2 years 3 months). He did great - I honestly thought he wouldn't let them do anything because he is pretty stubborn but after watching his brother get a prize after his cleaning he actually opened his mouth and let the doctor look at all his teeth. He wouldn't go for a cleaning though but they said it's ok.

We are waiting on my next round of bloodwork to come back.  The bile acid test has about a 10 day turnaround and they took blood yesterday so it should be back by the beginning of the year.  If my levels are improving, it will be the 19th.  If they are not, it will be the 12th.

That's exciting that he did so well!  I'm glad he got in and there are no issues.  Most of the time at that age I end up doing a toothbrush cleaning anyway, which is silly because you do that every day lol.

I am so NOT ready for this baby!  We are moving on Monday and all I can think about is the chaos of packing up our current home and unpacking our next home.  I am getting tired of being pregnant, but baby has to stay put for a few more weeks until I can pull myself together.

My RCS is the 31st and I'm scared that she might try to come before.  I doubt I'll be ready in 11 days let alone if she comes early.  I just have been procrastinating so much lately, it's awful.  I'm also really enjoying this time with DS.
