End of the month ladies

I know our kiddos need some more time to cook, but anyone else getting incredibly jealous of all of these babies?

Being at the end is tough - hearing everyone talk about signs of labor and I'm only almost 35 weeks. I know, I know - are babies will be here soon enough and I have a ton of things to go. Hell, this kid still needs a name. But - ahhhhh - I want my baby

Eh...With DD I was at the end of the month, so I am used to it I still have so much left to do I need the extra five weeks or so!

With my first dd - I was due June 2 so I was at the beginning if the month.

If you were to list my qualities, you would not list patience

I'm a beginning of the month-er, and I am jealous of these babies.  I know I have the strong possibility to go very overdue.

Yup! Especially since my end of the month baby last time turned into a beginning of the month baby....I have no idea what to expect but I keep expecting her sooner than later and I feel like I'm going to get really impatient by like the 2nd week in January! It's hard being this pregnant with a 1 year old!

This. I do love seeing all the babies, but it makes me panic that I won't be ready if he comes early.

Honestly, I don't even think about it. I just try to get through each day right now, one day at a time. But my experience is not exactly normal, so there's that.

This. I love looking at the cute squishes but jealous? Heck no! I need the next 5-6 weeks and if I feel anything like a real contraction I will be crossing my legs, tapping into the power of denial and not letting this baby out till I'm ready.

Well I'm a middle-of-the month lady with 29 days to go, and I'm insanely jealous.  I haven't been sleeping anyways, so why not just have this baby?  Then at least there's a reason to get up in the middle of the night...

Yes and no.  I'll be 35 weeks tomorrow and I feel like I have so much stuff I  have to get done before this baby can get here.  I haven't even met with HR about leave yet.  I'd like to be sure at least that gets done first!  DS1 came 2 weeks early, so I'm not sure when to expect this little guy.

I am not in a super hurry to get little girl out, I just keep thinking about how much more work will be involved with 2 kids than 1. DH was home when DS was born for almost 2 weeks and then went back to work, but he was in town. With this LO it looks like he will only be in town a couple days and then be going back outta town, leaving DS, LO and I here. I figure baby girl is easier to take care of in my belly, so she can just stay put until she feels like making her grand entrance. Granted if I would was one of you ladies dealing with health issues and serious pain I completely understand serving that baby with early eviction papers

I am in no hurry for this baby to come.  None.  I have done basically nothing so far to prepare our house for her.  I am waiting until after Christmas is over.  I haven't even washed any of her clothes.  So, although I love seeing all the new squishies here, it does not make me want her to come faster.  I am so glad I have more time.

DS was an end of September baby, so I'm used to it.

And in spite of my complaining and whining about still being pregnant, I want this baby to stay in until at least January 20th.

I am struggling with impatience but not feeling 100% ready.  I know for a fact babies are easier on the inside and I still have plenty of stuff to do before this LO gets here, but it is difficult seeing babies being born nearly every day now.  I have never seen so many early babies - and they are all doing so well which makes it even better!  Even where I work people are going into labor all around me - including people who were due after me!

I feel like I have one voice telling me "get it together because it really could be any day now" and an other voice telling me "no way, you still have five more weeks and that is just until your due date.  It could be longer.  Plenty of time so just settle down."

Not jealous! Lol, I want her to come when she's ready but I'm really hoping that's as close to my due date as possible. I had my Strep B test yesterday and my doctor usually does the first internal then too (we did it a week early because they are closed the week of Christmas). I'm already 1.5 cm dilated and although I know I could be that way for quite some time, I definitely had my "oh shit, I'm not ready!" moment.

My EDD is Jan 18th, but I went late with DS and I fully expect this baby to be late too.  I'd rather have the surprise of not having this baby Jan 31st than think he'll be here in 4 weeks.  

That being said I don't really have much to do.  Baby clothes and diapers are washed and put in the drawers, crib is ready, boobs are ready, so I have all the essentials covered!

I may have felt that way some before I fell. Now I'm praying she stays in until her due date so my tailbone has as much time to heal prior to birth as possible. But I am SUPER excited that she is almost here!

Being just shy of two weeks from my EDD, I'm starting to tell my LO that this can be over whenever he's ready. I've considered my EDD to have a +/- 2 week window around it, so I'm really feeling like it could be any day now.

There are still things I'd like to have done before he arrives, but I've got all the essential stuff ready, and even if I finish the current list of projects I'm sure I'll find something else that I should do.

I'm a beginning of the month girl & while I'm excited to be a FTM I'm also v v nervous about it & the fact that it has to come out of me!!!!
The house is pretty much ready but I'm not sure I am!
Keep cooking LO. Be like Daddy. Take your sweet ass time!

I'm not jealous, per se but I am ready to not be pregnant anymore. She needs all the cooking time she can get but I'm miserable. I try not to complain because I knew this would be hard but mother of God I am miserable.

Hit 35 weeks today.. And the white flag of surrender is raised high. I have severe pubic bone pain that has made what movement I can do, severely limited, and even that is done in agony. I'm tired and it's wearing in me emotionally. Just ready for her to be here and to not hurt so bad.

I'm jealous, but definitely not ready for baby to actually come.  I keep saying that as long as he/she holds out until after my husband is finished call on the 30th I'll be fine, but really, with a birthday to plan for around the 11th and all the baby stuff to get ready still, I'm in the cross my legs and don't even think about coming out yet club.

Baby envy is a good way to put it! I want my little guy, but I still have some things to wrap up like letting work know my mat leave intentions, oh and the big one of finding a dang daycare!

I'm getting antsy to hold my LO, but I definitely still have things I need to get done. What I really want is this 24x7 nausea to stop. If that happened, I probably wouldn't be so antsy.

Yes! I'm 34+2 and seeing all these babies being born makes me ready for my girl! She still has plenty of growing to do, but I'm hoping time goes by quickly. Bring it on labor!

I've already had my baby (7 weeks ago) but I am slightly jealous of all the healthier babies. I wouldn't have traded my experience in the nicu for anything but I still wish my baby was healthy when I had him.

I'm due in the middle of the month.. I can relate that I want to hold my LO after seeing everyone's LO photos.. but I feel like I am nowhere near ready.

I've just finished my last exam for this Semester today. I'm happy that kiddo is due end of the month because I now need to clear the spare bedroom to start the nursery, wash her clothes/bedding etc and get the cleaners to come in. All these December babies had me worried I'd go into pre-term labour in the middle of exams and have nothing prepared.

Nope. I want her to cook as long as she can. Though I am starting to doubt that she will make the late entrance that her brother did. I don't ever remember having the BH with DS that I do with LO.

I get moments of jealousy, but then I realize I still have a lot to do and would like a little more time to actually do it. I've been through this before because DD was due at the end of February. She ended up showing up on the 14th, so I'm going in this time knowing I might not make it until the end of January (whereas last time, everyone and their mother kept telling me that FTMs are always late--another reason to ignore OWT).

oh yes. due the 29th,  i'll be 37 weeks Jan 8th and he can feel free to come out anytime after that i hope he comes 2 weeks early!

I'm actually perfectly fine with have ~5 weeks left.  Still isn't enough time to get everything I want to accomplished, but at least I could be close-ish.  I am excited for baby cuddles, but I'll enjoy them even more when I know that everything else is taken care of.

Im due Jan 30 and beyond wanting baby to be healthy, I am so over it. I'm so uncomfortable and honestly, the first 4 to 6 months are miserable with sleep deprivation and crying babies. I just want to fast-forward to June.

I'm in no hurry. My c section is scheduled and I would really prefer to make it to that date and have a calm experience (as opposed to the chaotic emergency section last time)

As well, I am enjoying these last few weeks with just DS. I know this is going to be a huge change for him and a small part of me is scared of the fallout... I know it'll pass in time but given his temperament we may be in for a rocky transition.

I'm not jealous, I'm only a little over 35 weeks so I'm not full term yet. Once I hit 39 weeks I will be eager and ready.. Now I'm just chilling and can't wait to be off my maternity leave with my lil girl!!
