I have confessed before about my ineptitude with lyrics. Today I found out that the song Radioactive included the word radioactive. I thought it was.,,ready to rock you, ready to rock you. The dumbs, I has em.

Omg I am bad at this too. Remember Lil Jon's snap yo fingers? I thought he said 'snap your bagels' and while the song was on, asked my husband if ''bagels" was a new slang term for butt. He blankly stared at me until I was like "I guess like buns with a hole? Snap your bagels?".
The cow's milk is for the fatty content and brain development. You don't have to go this route; you just have to do the research for something else (goat's milk is a possibility; as is almond milk in combo with other healthy fats).
Also so many broken hearts after catching up.
@jancandance, I'm NOT taking sides (like that matters from a lurker), but you lie about not saying things about babies. I've seen you say sweet things about lots of babies on here.

Uh, no. You are very, very wrong.

So STBXH got M tonight after I went to work. I texted him almost 2 hours ago asking how she was. No reply. Again about 45 min ago. Still no reply. I'm already a big fat mess from her having to go see him for a couple of days. But now the not replying to me is adding to my anxiety. Ugh. I wish I could drink at work LOL
I hope you hear from him, and stress the importance of him checking in with you from time to time. I would be that crazy one, constantly calling until he picked up... hugs to you
@tiffletons518 we used to go to the little Caesars right on the oulette strip in Windsor, or national Coney Island once we were back in the u.s. Oh the glory days of being 19.
@workinit Gah I love National. We usually didn't stay downtown though. We would come back downriver and end up at Denny's or a coney down here like Zorbas. I spent soo much time in Canada when I turned 19. I was all bar scened out well before I hit 21. Lol.
Oooh misheard lyrics! My friend and I used to sit on youtube and watch funny misheard lyrics videos for entirely too long. The last one she sent me was Justin Timberlake "Mirrors". I cannot listen to the song now without hearing "with your hand in my hand and a pocket full of soap..." ha.
who shared the pics of the nursery, was it @cl8badb? You had put the table stand and play down on and angle with 2 legs, I just did this too the one we have. My LO is so happy and playing with it! So thank you!
So I hated the fact that we had to get a new car. We had to trade in my SO's car because he had a 2 door and that just wasn't going to work with a convertible car seat. We couldn't even get it installed properly! The good news with having to get a new car is that Grayson's car seat can go back in the middle! He had to be behind the passenger seat in my car in order for my SO to drive comfortably. But we are now down to one car and I just started working again. This should be fun!!
So this morning I woke up and still had this crappy cold and a headache for like the 5th day. I thought to myself, all I want to do is to drink my coffee hot and watch heartwarming olympic stories on the today show under a blanket on the couch. Needless to say with a baby, 3 and 4 year old boys bopping around this wasn't going to happen. Instead I have cleaned all the floors, made a full, huge dinner in the slow cooker, packed lunch for everyone to go to the Y for gymnastics when Lo wakes up and made myself took reasonably decent- as in jeans not soft pants. I'm still waiting for my mom of the year medal but it seems to be late getting delivered.
So my husband downloaded the "covet fashion" app on my phone because he said all the women at work are obsessed with it. Now I share their obsession. Seriously, DH, I already spend too much time on TB, now you gave me another reason to crawl into my phone.
ummm yes! I think I could only manage the .05km course though.... especially with all of that bacon. Plusalso, Bloody Mary? I need to introduce you americans to the bloody caesar.

Holy crap I'm totally in! I'd probably do the 5k. I'd feel a lil less guilty about all the bacon I'd consume after. Plus you get bacon bits along the way. And, I LOOOOVE a bloody mary. No olives though. Gross. What is this bloody caesar??
For anyone keeping track, we had our EI assessment this morning. The result is, K is behind with gross motor, but not necessarily severe for her age. However, they want to see her move more, and soon, so they are playing up the delay to get her in for services rather than making us wait 3 months to get her reevaluated. Her cognitive score was within average but a lower average which they attribute to her not being able to get herself around. Her speech, social, and fine motor were all good. The PT felt she had a little bit of low muscle tone in her legs. (My niece also has low muscle tone but much more severely- didnt sit till she was over a year and didnt walk till 2, talk till 4)... Anyway, we were approved for services based off a "severe delay in gross motor" and will have a PT come every other week. Thanks for your thoughts!
Oh.. Forgot, they also want her eyes checked out bc they felt one eye crossed in a bit and she had some trouble tracking to the right or she may have just been distracted... Anyway, the pedi thought it was due to a wider nasal bridge but I guess we will get her examined by an eye doc too.
bloody caesar is vodka, clamato juice (can you get that in the states?), horseradish, Worcestershire and Tabasco, plus a lime and celery and celery salt around the rim of course! They are defiantly a morning drink in my mind @gigglejiggle, perfect hangover drink. My only issue with these is that I drink them so fast. I try and pace myself, but it can not be done!
@pph2, I am glad you were able to get some services, early intervention is fabulous and you are a great mom for recognizing that you and your LO need a little extra help!
@pph2, glad your LO is getting the therapy she needs better to get her up to speed now. My LO is still a bit of a pet rock as well but I'm not too worried yet.

So, I was just bored googling and stumbled upon the circle of mom's forum. I was trying to see what formula bf babies took most easily. This one mom said she added vanilla and pumpkin spice to her baby's formula to get her to take it. She said they call it her pumpkin spice latte #-o. Why do I waste my time?

@tttwalters You lost me at horseradish. *shudder* I actually used to use clamato as a chaser for tequila. Got it from one of our favorite Canadian bartenders. Lol. I feel like I'm making myself sound like a bit of a former alcoholic today...
@pph2 it's always nice to get answers, I'm glad that it seems like the team of people you are working with are doing what they can to get you the best and fastest attention you can! You're doing a great job mommy

Things my crazy ass project manager has said so far today:
"don't do a Sonny Bono" - to a guy who is going skiing with his 2 kids this weekend
"have you gotten Tyler checked for autism yet, I fear for him" - to me
"my hubby is such a romantic, he kidnapped me once" - when someone complimented her valentine's flowers she still has on her desk
...I think she's drunk
