Ok, cookie butter question. I saw smooth and chunky. What is the chunk???
@34blondie I saw both too and just bought chunk because I know both DH and DS1 like crunchy Pb and I like a little crunch too. The crunchy has little Crumbles in it and is grainy, but I've never had smooth so I don't have much to compare it to. Crunchy was awesome though!
Not a fan of some of the people who post on the FB page. I rarely comment on anything, but when I did recently, some of the other comments after me seemed "I'm holier than thou". Annoying.
On the post about why people had to EP, people were talking about how difficult it was and someone posts this: "I'm good at adapting to routines so even though it's monotonous I don't mind doing it. " Good for you. I guess the rest of us who find pumping hard or time consuming must not be very adaptable. Maybe I'm uber sensitive because I EP and I HATE it...
DD has been up crying on and off for an hour and I don't know what to do she will cry for 15-30 seconds then quite down for a minute or two, and repeate. The times I've gone in to try to help her settle she got more worked up. But I feel so bad not going in....
I guess she just needed me to post on the bump lol. She finally fell asleep a couple minutes after I posted. Now we are just up for her usual meal and gingers crossed she goes back to sleep easily.

I don't think I can do this night pump anymore. I was gonna wait until J was 9 months old before dropping it but I don't know if I can do another night. Each night gets worse and worse and I'm more and more tired. Despite being exhausted, it took me forever to fall back asleep after the pump. I'm ready to STTN.
WE ARE OUT OF COFFEE. Well technically, DH is out of coffee since I just brewed our last kcup but WE ARE OUT OF COFFEE.
Yesterday I went grocery shopping and stopped home briefly to drop off the kids before running to a job interview, sans kids, with all the groceries in the car. I had drank the last caffeinated cup of coffee and left DH at the house with the kids while I drove off with all the coffee. Serves him right for laying in bed all weekend with a man cold! I did feel bad when I came home and he opened the door and said, "you drove off with the coffee!" Instead of "hi honey, how was that possibly career changing job interview?"
Thanks, ladies! So...my pedi recommends holding off on ibuprofen until he's 2 with the reasoning that Tylenol is just as effective. I think we'll give it a shot today anyway since I've never heard that anywhere else. I can now clearly see a top tooth making its way down so I am sure that is our entire problem. Poor M is just a wreck when he's teething
That's weird your pediatrician says no to Motrin. Ours says that she uses Motrin over Tylenol once they hit 6 months as it works better. Hope your LO feels better.
So we pushed up the bedtime routine by an hour last night in hopes of avoiding any break downs like we had been dealing with. It was successful. No crying after his bath. He was happy during his bath, after, and he fell asleep right after he got his bottle. I'm happy we don't have any melt downs but an hour earlier to sleep meant an hour earlier wake up lol and of course I stayed up late last night!
@Cl8badB and @libberluru Thanks for the support. I'm so mentally exhausted from this whole EP process. I've been so hesitant to give up the MOTN pump because I get a huge amount of milk. But, my brain needs the sleep so it's gotta happen and I think tonight is the night to start the wean.

Oh typos... Sometimes I see that I made a funny one and don't edit my post on purpose. This one I didn't notice.
@kelly422 I forgot to post this when you commented earlier about the annoying FB comment. I think your posts on here have been really inspirational. For the most part you have always been fairly positive about EPing. God willing I will never need to deal with EP, but if I ever do, you (and the other EP mommas on here) have giving me inspiration to go for it whole heartedly.
Second, I have wanted to yell at you for months to drop that MOTN session. For all of us mamas who don't get the chance to STTN, do it for us! Fx you'll get an awesome pump in the morning to make up for it.

That seriously made me tear up! I appreciate that
I know, I have wanted to drop it, too! But I was trying to make sure my freezer stash was nice and built up before quitting!
It was painful, but I believe I'm unclogged! I'm still pretty sore though, and I guess I will be for a day or so. Thank goodness this only the second time this has happened.
Glad it's gone! I still get one about once a week even though I've cut out saturated fat, take lots of lecithin everyday, and everything else they say. My next advice was going to be to dangle nurse - the hot shower/massaging and then immediately dangle nursing works best for me.

I was picturing little red-headed children running across the road!!
We were supposed to go out tonight to celebrate our anniversary and v day and my mom was going to keep Grayson over night but we just got word that my great grandpa isn't doing very well. He's been sick for awhile and he's letting go it sounds like. And of course it's snowing here pretty good so I don't think we'll be able to make the hour long drive up there to see him before he goes if you all could keep my family in your thoughts I would greatly appreciate it.
Mission childproof day failed. No wall studs to mount the TV, the gate won't work with our stairs, and we need something to put between the stair slats...
A few minutes ago: me to LO - "why won't you nap? What's the deal??" (pause) ohhhhh. Your pants are full of poop. Facepalm. When did your poops acquire such stealth?
