Hi ladies! I don't want to take up space to post an intro thread, but I don't want to comment on things either and be a lurker!

I'm an active poster on the March 14 board but things have quieted down over there and I feel like I have a lot in common with you lovelies as my little guy was late; Luke Thomas was born April 14, 2014. This kid has a thing for numbers I guess!  9 lbs 4 oz and happy as a clam He's a big boy at about 16 lbs and 14 weeks old.

He loves smiles, milk, and long walks on the beach...I mean in his stroller. look out girls! haha. I'm 30 and I live in a tiny Indiana town but I'm only about an hour from Chicago. I've been married for 4 years to my highschool sweetheart. I have 2 big dogs at home. LO is my first child. We might have another one in a few years, but focusing on my little man right now. Hello and nice to finally formally introduce myself to all of you!

Welcome @kimberpoo! Yes, I agree- AW your baby and dogs! I'd say those are two of the top hings we love (third being cake).

Deal! That's me with LO dressed as a fireman for the 4th of july parade because daddy is a volunteer fireman. Nyx is my 6 year old german shepherd. Talos is my 1 year old Cane Corso mastiff (that's my SIL holding lo with Talos). The dogs are so good with the baby! They are even more calm and protective than I imagined they would be. Nyx doesn't quite get that the tiny human can't throw her ball for her and will drop it next to his chair over and over again trying to play.

Just for fun, since you ladies love pics...
That's DH and I when I was about 39 weeks pg, a pic of lo as we are heading out for a walk (my current favorite activity!), a pic of my happy baby bear that daddy took during tummy time yesterday, and my favorite pic of LO doing his 'oooo' face. It's also my favorite pic of him because when I'm holding him and I look down, that's my view. That's my angle, that's what I see. and I love it!

2 bottom teeth have suddenly shown up and I now have a dilemma. I have always said that when teeth show up, I'm done breastfeeding. However, I'm to lazy and cheap to quit yet, so now I need to come up with a new breastfeeding goal.

So far I'm surviving my first day back at work! First pumping session went well, second was a little less than I had hoped, but overall so far do good

Hugs to you. I am so sorry you are feeling this way. I've been there, it sucks monkey balls. I'd be there currently if not for meds. Knowing you are having these feelings is definitely the start to getting OUT of your dark place. I hope you find some relief and solace in your doc. Good luck to you!

My mother watches dd for us during the day free of charge. She moved here from nj to do so. While we are greatly appreciative, she's afraid to "drive in the big city". And I feel bad saying no to her requests for shopping trips to quilt stores. Only 3 more to go! 8->

Wowza! Busy day for me. Missed so much on the board. 

Big hearts to all of you who went back to work today. You = awesome. Your baby thinks so too, I promise.

I went to a TDAP shot appointment with a friend who I made (YAAAY I made a real life friend!) from our hospital tour. Her little girl is three days younger than Merri and she is also freaking adorable.

Got to spend all day, just the four of us, no boys allowed. That meant pedis (not on the girls...yet), Enchanted and fooooooooooood...

...and daddy taking over once fussy time hit! WIN!

Fun fact: Hubster read an article today about a study indicating that smelling farts makes you live longer.

So....use that from now on when you clear out a room :-)
