So G is taking a bottle at night now, so I told DH I wanted a turn sleeping all night. Guess who is laying here holding G while listening to their spouse snore? Yup that's me on my night off. G wouldn't fall back asleep and it was frustrating my DH and I couldn't sleep anyway from all his annoyed sounds.

I'm crawling back to you guys, I've been a bad bumpie and I have not been around for a few days. Many ((hugs)) to my stressed out mamas and a hearty welcome to the new babies!

I ended up in l&d on wed with 5 min apart contractions, dilated to about 2cm and then just stopped. Blah. Much chocolate was consumed yesterday .

Today is DH's birthday. We're so fortunate to have this day to celebrate, even in the hospital, because on Monday we weren't sure he'd make it. I am one lucky lady.

Aiden finally slept!! It only took me sleeping on the couch with him in his swing, but I got five hours! He's nursing now and then maybe more sleep? One could only hope!

I make my own Vietnamese-ish iced coffee every day with hot coffee. I stir in sweetened condensed milk and then add cold milk. Once it's cool I add the ice. So tasty! And definitely gives me something to look forward to every morning!

I totally ugly cried yesterday because Quinn is having latching issues, where she gets super impatient and starts screaming and punching me in the breast every time I try to nurse! When DH gives her a bottle she just stares up at him contentedly. It makes me sad thinking that when I hold her it's a bad experience and she'll always associated me with misery. I don't want to have to warm up a bottle to start her off with and I want DH to be able to feed her too. Does this get better? My other babies always just rolled with the punches. I don't want her to hate me.

@ashleypixie I'm so sorry to hear you're having a hard time. While I don't have any breast feeding advice (I've only been at it for 40 hours so I won't pretend to be an expert), I WILL say that your LO doesn't hate you. Definitely take some time for yourself to get your bearings back. It sounds like your hormones are playing evil tricks on you. Think caaaaaalm and relaaaaaaxed. I'm sure it'll get better for you. Do you have any breast feeding support you could turn to? Nurse or lactation consultant?

Oh course now she's asleep for more than an hour...with both the dishwasher and the washing machine going. Where was this sleep at 2:30!?!

I think I spent a ridiculous amount of time in L&D explaining to DH how butt labor was better than back labor.  I'm kinda glad I don't remember very well.

I'm sorry you guys are having this issue @Ashleypixie‌ definitely make sure when H is feeding her that he holds her kinda upright with bottle so she's gotta work for milk just like she would have to when BFing. Having her lie down and bottle point down makes the milk flow easily. Maybe try swaddling her when feeding so her little arms are in?

@Bluebird2318‌ me either!!! I can't tell you how many times I yelled "MY ASS HURTS!!!" During labor. And the anesthesiologist doing my epi was moving soooo slow. I felt like I had 35 ass contractions while he was doing it.

I'm so annoyed at my MIL. She has only seen DS 4 times in his whole life, probably a total of 10 days. He keeps calling her Amma (what my mom goes by) and she keeps yelling at him, "I'm not Amma, I'm Mimi." First off, be happy he is calling you anything. Second, don't yell at my son! Third, you chose a name that is the same name as our dog! So whenever you say Mimi, he looks for the dog.

Same! I yelled out my asshole is going to rip open! That's when they realized I really was in active labor and it was time for the c-section
