DH first day back to work and I have been crying randomly all morning.. Is it normal to have so much self doubt? I can't even wrangle my thoughts ad emotions enough to get a firm grip on them

SO... THIS IS REAL LIFE. I was organizing the outside fridge...and pulled out some large cylinder. Unwrapped it and found it was the center of our bottom tier of wedding cake!!!! We ate our top layer (Italian Coconut Cream) last year on our first anniversary and it was pretty good...but this was double chocolate (never even got any at the wedding) and it was AMAZING! 1.5 year old cake that thawed to perfection! and we have SOOO much!

I guess my mom had a "feeling" about today and texted me "how are you feeling? Is today the big day?" And it just so happens to be my anniversary with hubs so I was like "yep! Married two years "

I get this from a girl I met while doing our hospital tour. She's super nice and cute and awesome. She's due 13 days after me and EVERY DAY I get a text from her, "Anything yet?" When I reply no, she then proceeds to offer lots of pitty emoticons. In addition, she also posts on Facebook every time she gets contractions and often tags me in the posts asking if I've felt anything yet. I like her but I want to TP her a little bit. I hope she goes into labor before me just so I'll stop getting the text messages from her.

Ok we survived our first date

And instead of pushing formula right away because of weight issues the dr said we could discuss it again at a weight check on Thursday. Plus she sat with me for a while and gave me some tips. Hopefully DD will start taking after her dad and put on the weight!

I made an ob appt today because one of my stitches is absolutely killing me. I looked last night and I feel like they stitched things together that were not meant to be attached. Hoping to get some relief.

Also, does anyone have any recommendations for lamps for night feedings? Our night lights are too dim for latching and our other lamps are disturbingly bright.

This umbilical stump needs to fall off STAT. I didn't think it'd weird me out as much as it does, but everytime I change his clothes, I'm afraid of the fabric rubbing up against it.
