My OB at my appt last week make me feel like such a wuss. I was almost in tears telling her how miserable I was and she responded by saying, "everyone at this point in their pregnancy is just as miserable as you are, whether it is one baby or two. Take some Benadryl and get some sleep. You do not want to have these babies right now. The worst feeling in the world is going home with your baby in the hospital nursery." (She had pre-e with both babies and they had NICU time.)

So, I have stopped complaining and feeling so bad for myself this past week! It feels great. And I have been sleeping better, which I am convinced makes all the difference in the world.

This is true. Leaving the hospital without DD was a horrible experience. It's just awful. I am hoping for no NICU time with this baby.

crap.. crap crap crap. this job that I really want that I applied for about a month ago just sent me and email for an interview.... NEXT WEEK when I am 39 weeks pregnant! what if I don't make it that far, what if I go into labor at the interview. shit. just shit!

I just ignored a phone call from quiet possibly my most annoying client ever. To my defense I was driving and wouldn't be able to deal with whatever his problem is.

He didn't leave a message. I'm hoping this means he called my coworker and she has to deal with him instead...

I had a heathy breakfast (hard boiled egg, grapefruit, English muffin, and raw green drink) followed by a candy binge of Snicker Bites, Starburst Minis, and a Peep bunny. WTF. I feel gross now and like that was bad for baby. Ugh. Off to brush my teeth.

Just keep truckin! It'll go by quickly. I was going to work until I go into labor but I really wanted that last week off before I'm due. 

I keep telling baby if he comes early we can stop working early

I'm totally regretting not keeping up with these myself, especially considering I often skipped photos because I thought I looked like death, but could have cropped them all to bump only (duh!) 

I did do a maternity shoot though at least, which I was also hesitant since I wasn't feeling purdy, but they turned out great, so at least I have some album worthy photo documentation of my pregnancy! 

Those (yours) turned out awesome!

Hot dogs are usually fully cooked right? So I'm guessing just long enough for it to heat all the way through?

Huge fail! I went back to the resale store to buy a used PnP for $35 and it was GONE! Booo whore. Next time, I listen to my mom instinct and strike while the iron is hot.

Like ordering takeout from next door while I was shopping. Vietnamese noodle salad is a decent consolation prize.

I just found out one of my best friends is losing her baby. She is maybe 3 months along. I feel like such a helpless asshole and all I can do is sit here and cry for her.

You are a fascinating human being. Isn't your daughter like 3 or 4? You must've been one independent ass kid. Reminds me of my little sister.

She's four - my mom had my twin brothers at that age (and full disclosure - bipolar all her life leading up to that) and my dad was out on tours of duty so independence was pretty much a survival mechanism. I use some of that knowledge that kids are capable of a lot more than we give them credit for in raising DD, while still being way more accessible than my parents were.

Some people use that type of upbringing as a reason for smothering their child. It's good that you use it to teach her the same independence yet still remain very accessible to her.

I don't think everyone has to do them. They are to test for protein in urine. I did one because my bp skyrocketed.

Oh my goodness I had so much catching up to do. All the best to everyone. Surprise ultrasound tomorrow morning because she's measuring 33 weeks at 38.5 weeks. She was 35 at the 36 weeks appointment so doctor said she probably just dropped but that it's a painless way to check on her and most moms like seeing their baby. So I'm ok with it!
