Today is our anniversary, yesterday we celebrated and did dinner. DH is has been a raging ass all day, because he procrastinated getting his uniform together and somehow it's my fault. I told him to pull the stick out of his ass and apparently I'm crazy and he's been acting perfectly normal.

Happy anniversary to me?

Target had wine at 50%, I bought more than a few bottles... I'm going to slink away for a few hours.

MN Targets do not sell wine. but they do sell weak beer. I think it's like 3% alcohol.

Yeah it's like coffee/wine isle, and then they have beer & wine coolers in the fridges. All of the grocery stores sell alcohol, we have drive trough liquor stores. But they stop selling at 2am and begin selling again at 4 am

Pretty much. It's things like Blue Moon and some other crafts, but the distributors have to sell the Targets here a special weak version that you pretty much only find at Target because of some weird laws.

MN has some pretty restrictive alcohol laws. I grew up in WI so it was hard getting used to it.

My poor baby is sick again. Third cold of her life! I hate this. She hasn't napped well today because she kept coughing herself awake, and then she would cry because she's so tired and wants to sleep but can't. Her little throat probably hurts too.

One of my IL's dog had testicular cancer and had his balls cut off a couple years ago. They were told it'd probably spread though, and they were pretty sure it had because he became slow-moving and would yelp if anyone even came close to hitting his back end.

Well, my BIL's 18 month old son had messed with him once before, and Bojo (the dog) bit him. They've tried keeping him away from him, but today he messed with him again and Bojo bit him pretty badly on the lip. He had to go to the ER (not sure about stitches), and they put Bojo to sleep since he had been feeling really lousy the last few days anyway (not getting up, just lying around in pain and crying).

They have to take Bojo's head to Houston tomorrow to get it tested for something??? For what I have no idea. But yeah. His head. They're taking it. Apart from his body. Just his head. To Houston. Head. Just. @-) So disturbing.

I know!! My MIL said he had a year left of his rabies shot, but just to be on the safe side they're having his brain tested. :-/ You'd think there was a simpler way...

DH was going to check into work tomorrow. However he forgot that hr put the really important papers that he needed inside the safe in our storage unit.
ETA- our storage unit is in NC and we are in FL...

Just lurking in the last page of posts after being missing for a week or so.

I have post staycation blues since my sister left yesterday. Feeling icky. I went to the allergist to get shots today and he asked me how my shoulders were. ME: Shoulders? HIM: Yeah from carrying that (baby car seat) around. Grabs onto my shoulder squeezing it and then comes around behind me and takes the other one and starts to massage them. ME: NO. You are making me uncomfortable.

Is that weird? Of course it's fucking weird. I will not be going back to Dr. Creepy Quack.

I know it's coincidence but DH is the only one who didn't get a flu shot and he's the only person in this house, including my parents and sisters, who isn't sick.

I'm sorry about your IL's dog, but somehow when reading the above sentence the first time I skipped the word "dog" and read it as one of your ILs having balls cut off and I was like "wow, that's blunt."

@aronie82 I did not, but I did try the wine! I enjoyed it. Most of the wine I've had in the past has been dry, so hard to get down, but this was nice and.. moist? I'm not good with wine terminology. Either way it was good! I think I would feel too much guilt if I had to pump and dump. For me it's not worth it.

Ugh my LO is sick still. I am sick still. DH Is sick still. I do not want to take him to urgent care but I will tonight. Its a cough but i dont like the sounds of it  . 

I called his dr this morning and the earliest appt she could give me is Nov 6 at 1;50 pm . I really dont get the fucking point of having a dr when it seems they only see the child for check ups and illnesses have to go to urgent care clinic and wait for 2-4 hours in germ heaven .

it doesnt seem to matter if its one glass or four. I get sick every time now . Its very disappointing and totatlly not worth it . so now i dont bother which leaves me with one vice that isnt so much socially acceptable lol

I'm feeling so thankful today. I did not want DH to be an army recruiter at all. I was so max and I was scared of where we were going to go. I was mad that we would be apart for 5 months. However I sucked it up. I love my new town! It's in such a great location, there is so much to do! DH got his promotion plus he gets extra money for being a recruiter, so we have extra money to travel and do fun things. And the biggest thing, a week after DH signed put of his unit, his old unit found out they were deploying and it's a fast deployment. They leave this Friday for a year. If his unit had found out before he signed out, they could have stopped him and they would have. They really need him for this deployment, but he's already gone!

We had one of the roughest nights of DS' young life. He was up from 1-4 ish then up again at 4:45. DH and I were not very kind to each other to say the least. To think I never believed people when they would tell me stories like this. ......

I read target is going to open a target liquor store somewhere in MN! I'm assuming it will be a separate entry like the cub liquors.... But still exciting! Now only if Mn will change its old school liquors laws.

I decided to be productive and brought my lap top in with me to pump but of course my account is locked so I can't log on!!!!

Sometimes they do sometimes they don't from what I recall. I know they went through my carry on full of booze and food that I shouldn't have brought back and didn't say anything.
