This is me too! I'm curious though why we moved from the weekly ones to 15 day ones... Oh well! Guess there will just be more success this way! I should be testing on 8/7 or 8/8, depending on when my FET gets scheduled for. I'm already going a bit crazy thinking about the wait, but I am able to rein myself in and not buy hpts.

Hi ladies- sign me up too!  My transfer will be on 7/27, and beta will be on 8/8.   This is FET#2, and my office seemed surprised last time I hadn't tested on the morning of beta, so I may do that this time. I'm trying to fill up my 2WW with low key plans so I don't have too much time to overanalyze.   But I'm looking forward to Netflix and movies fun!

Hi all! My transfer is for Sunday the 24th and my beta is on Aug 2nd! I'm making my list of Netflix stuff to watch as I'm on bed rest the day of and after transfer. Hope to see this thread filled with BFP's.

I'm very lucky that my mom has a flexible job. She works for herself, and herself is nice enough to give her time off to come be with us during my 48 hours of bedrest (DH has a very stressful job with a wacky schedule and isn't great about taking care of basic needs like food, so my mom comes up every transfer to make sure we're both fed). My 2ww is gonna start with a Divergent series marathon (my mom hasn't seen the last one yet) and continuing my 2016 reading challenge that I discovered the other day (https://www.popsugar.com/love/Reading-Challenge-2016-39126431). As of today I have 14 of them checked off! Hopefully it'll help distract me while I wait around twiddling my thumbs until beta day!

Ladies, I have been miserable with the PIO injections. I still have significant pain when walking. I tried the thigh last night, and it's super sore this today. I decided that I'm not doing anymore. It's akin to torture. My husband freaked out when I told him, but fortunately the doctor backed me up.

@cmm012 Wow, I'm surprised that your doctor would allow you to just quit progesterone, especially if your last transfer was cancelled due to low prog levels. I had pain for quite a while after stopping, but nothing as bad as yours sounds. It is kinda like torture, but I've always looked at it as a temporary thing to get a baby, which I desperately want more than the injections bother me. Sure, some days it was hard to sit down, but oh well.

AFM - I did my first PIO of this cycle yesterday evening. We were out from about 3:30 to midnight, so had to do the injection at the party we were at. It was a little awkward with both DH and I walking into the bathroom together, but no one seemed to notice, thank goodness! I also found out yesterday that my mom would like to do a Game of Thrones marathon when she comes up on Thursday for my bed rest. I lol'ed a little, because my dad is super anti GoT (he has a thing with popular stuff) but my mom seemed to really want to watch it. Hopefully it'll help the time go by faster, and beta day come sooner!

I hope everyone has had a lovely weekend, and good luck to those of us with procedures this coming week!

@AandDM2014 I'm glad that your first shot went well, even if it occurred in a friend's bathroom. I should clarify that my last FET was cancelled b/c my progesterone was too high too soon. Also, doc was okay with stopping my injections because I started suppositories and oral pills. I hope you don't end up as sore as I was. I'm walking much better today!

@cmm012 Oh man, that stinks that you last one was cancelled because you responded too well! I'm sorry that you've had to start suppositories. I did those for my fresh transfer and swore I'd never use them again! I now do 1.5 cc of PIO. My butt is pretty used to it, so it doesn't usually bother me too much. Sure, there is pain, but I can deal with it. I'm glad you're doing better today! I asked about doing thigh injections when DH was going to be gone, but they told me I couldn't.

I would do the suppositories every hour if it meant no shots. I think my body is just sensitive to them. No one else on TheBump mentioned similar symptoms. I really hope you get your BFP @AandDM2014

@AandDM2014 ugh PIO at a party sounds NOT fun! You gotta do what you gotta do though, right?! I have done 2 PIO shots and they haven't been too bad! Just feels like I did some badass butt exercises lol. DH is amazing at administering, so I'm very thankful!

@babylonghorn16 Yeah, it wasn't too bad! I've now done my third for this cycle and I am definitely feeling it. I used to be an avid runner (many, many moons ago) but had to give it up due to IVF. I was able to start up a little bit about a month ago, when my butt finally stopped hurting from the shots. Well today I tried to jog from a parking pay machine back to the car and NOPE! So much pain! Hopefully yours continues to be mild!

AFM - I'm getting pretty excited that I only have one more day before I get the call from my embryology lab to find out what time I need to check in on Thursday! I'm going to guess around 8:30 based on previous transfers, but who knows!

@AandDM2014 thanks! Today's PIO was a BREEEEEZE! I think we hit a capillary yesterday - bled A LOT and was very very sore immediately afterwards. Today, I didn't even feel, no blood, and no soreness. Weird how each day can be so different! Hoping your soreness subsides! I am continuing to exercise throughout the PIO injections - today is my first workout of the week, so we'll see how that goes! I'm on week 5 of BBG, but will have to stop come Friday. Oh well... it's worth giving up exercise for my mini-me/DH!

@babylonghorn16 I'm glad your shot today was easy! I do hope they continue to be that way. It is strange how each shot can be so different. Just wait until you have to do one yourself; those are even more interesting! Question for all: when did you stop alcohol and/or caffeine intake? I've only had a few glasses of wine in the past week or so, but I drink 1-2 cups of coffee every day. Of course I will IMMEDIATELY cut out BOTH come Friday, but was just wondering how much time you gave/plan to give yourself before transfer?

is anyone else transferring tomorrow? I'm nervous and excited. I haven't been sleeping well this week at all- anyone else having problems with that? I don't remember it being that bad last time. My assistant asked me if everything was ok today, I guess  I've been a tad distracted. @babylonghorn16 I hope Friday comes fast for you! As for caffeine, I believe I was told none starting the day of transfer. I'm not a coffee drinker (Ick!) and thanks to PCOS I can't have sugar anymore, so no soda either. I do, however drink tea. I actually just bought some decaf tea that I will be enjoying for the next few weeks (iced tea, not hot, I'm not crazy).

@gatorlorit I transfer on Thursday. I too am getting to the nervous/excited part, especially since I'll be hearing from an embryologist tomorrow to get my check in time and final instructions (not that I don't know them already, but they like to give them to me every time, just in case). I've been distracting myself today with Netflix bingeing!

@AandDM2014 Thanks! So I was diagnosed with poly-cystic ovaries, but still not sure if they are 100% sure I have PCOS. Every time I ask, the doc gives me a shrug and a nod... so I assume that's a "we don't really know for sure, but most likely". Kinda annoying. Anyway, why can't you have sugar?? I don't follow any dietary restrictions... wondering if maybe I should! Any info would be appreciated! Trusty google tends to lead me astray sometimes... :)

@babylonghorn16 People with PCOS are highly likely to be insulin resistant or have diabetes, which means keeping sugar to a minimum to keep your insulin levels as even as possible. I also do a relatively low carb diet, which is also recommended for PCOS. I typically try to stay around 30% or less of my daily calories from carbs, which is about 125 grams for my weight. This is a wonderful website that I use; she really knows what she's talking about after years of having PCOS and crappy doctors: https://www.smartfertilitychoices.com/pcos/

Thanks @AandDM2014. I'll talk to my doctor about my sugar intake! Funny that he didn't mention. Probably need to get to the bottom of if I even have PCOS or not. Annoyed by the lack of communication.

@babylonghorn16 Yeah, my RE hasn't mentioned much about PCOS either. Whenever I brought it up to the people at Kaiser when I was going in for prenatal stuff, they told me the only thing women with PCOS had to worry about was getting pregnant. Which is a total lie. Luckily I think I've found a new doctor who knows that there are extra precautions to take, so if I get pregnant this time around I'll be seeing her. I seem to be able to do every other exercise I've ever tried, except running. DH just got into slacklining this week, and I was even able to do that (sort of, I suck really hard, but it's fun!), but not running.

@AandDM2014 wow, that's really good to know. I'm going to start looking for a doctor who is knowledgeable about the extra precautions needed. Slacklining sounds really cool! I love keeping active, so I'll be looking for activities that are conducive to a healthy pregnancy! The current regime I'm on is not recommended for pregnant women.

Anyone know of a good workout plan for pregnant women?? (for future reference :))

@babylonghorn16 Unfortunately today would be my last day for slacklining. It probably isn't a good pregnancy activity with all the falling. But I'll keep going with DH and watch him do it. Hopefully you can find a good doctor who knows anything about PCOS! I know I'd just stick with walking and light weights until beta (that's what I did last time), then after that maybe add in swimming or longer/harder walks.

@Isthisthereallife Yes, it does sometimes feel like time is going backwards! I haven't even started my 2ww and I'm already going crazy! I have a feeling Netflix bingeing is in my near future!

@ale9687 I'm doing pretty good actually. Im sleeping a lot since it's so hot outside, and I'm keeping busy with work and watching the conventions. My backside has finally stopped hurting, and I have a conference to attend this weekend.  I don't get back till Monday night which is perfect. Beta is on Tuesday.  I have 13 preg tests at home, so I took one yesterday just so I didn't feel like I was wasting them.  I was not expecting anything of course. Not sure if I'll use any more of them.

reading a a lot of other posts, it looks like most do their PIO at night, but my RE specifically put AM on the calendar. Anyone else on that schedule or know why it would be different?

@happydays13 welcome and good luck! I do my PIO at night but it may be because I do my crinone in the morning. Also I've done all my shots myself, it's not too bad. After you get through the first one you'll get the hang of it.
