I'm a nervous wreck! 3 1/2 weeks ago at our NT scan we were told that LO has cystic hygroma and has a 75% chance of having either a chromosome abnormality or a heart defect.
Fortunately, most of the test results from the CVS came in already and they were negative for a chromosome abnormality. Today we are going for the early echocardiogram and anatomy scan. I'm going crazy over here! They won't be able to see everything they need to to determine if there's a heart problem because I'm only 15 weeks, but I hope we get some good news to help us get to our 20 week echo and anatomy scan. I don't think I can handle more up in the air, bad news.
Your thoughts and prayers would be appreciated!! TY!

Thoughts and Prayers to you and your baby.
Today, I am thankful for the advances in medicine that allow us advance notice for situations like this. IF there is something going on, you not only will have time to process it - but the medical team will have time to plan. Deep breaths, and hugs your way!
Good luck today!

These are excellent points, and this is how I convinced my husband that we can handle anything we find out during scans. Medical knowledge has come a long way in recent years, and there is so much support. Everything will be okay! Please keep us posted!
