mobility= better naps?

After the initial "I am learning to crawl and want to practice" phase that is. Everyone keeps saying DD will nap better when she is more active, ie, mobile, during the day. She now takes usually 4 catnaps of about 30 minutes. Pretty much spend the whole day getting her to sleep.?

I hope it is true, but wondered what your experiences were!?

Re: mobility= better naps?

  • For me I would say that's generally true. Before he was mobile his naps were short like that. However, the "I'm learning and want to practice in my crib" phase was a nightmarre! Now, he takes 3 naps a day...45 minutes in the morning, hour in the early afternoon, and hour to 2 hours in the late afternoon. My DS loves his sleep.

  • Sorry sweetie, not the case here :( It actually became more of a battle, because she was afraid that she'd miss something. It is funny to find her occasionally randomly passed out on the floor, face down, just because she felt the need mid-crawling. Evidence Here:image
