very personal question inside... (sex / big O related)
during pgcy, how often did/do you:
1 - have sex?
2 - um... get it on with yourself?
3 - "service" your DH (without actual intercourse being involved)?
i feel so weird having the big O knowing there are 2 babies in there... DH calls it "giving the babies an earthquake"... freaking weird 
but i'm also feeling what i imagine is hormone-induced friskiness... and then i feel guilty not taking care of DH more... blah... sex is difficult during pgcy i think... at least for me.
anyway, TIA for sharing such personal info.
here are my answers:
1 - we had sex a few times around 10-11 weeks when we went on vacation. then again around 14w i think, and i had cramps the next day which freaked michael out (also the dr made a comment about baby A's head being right on the other side of my cervix, so... haha no more sex for us.)
2 - not very often. maybe every other week or so....? but now i'm paranoid about the big O...
3 - i try to take care of him at least once a week... pathetic

1. once in the frist trimester and them was on pelvic rest, so no nookie for us
2. as often as possible
3. He is just not into that...I would have, but if he has no interest, then it is no fun for me either
1 - have sex? Once a week - maybe. I would be okay with doing it more, but DH just isn't in love with pregnancy sex. I'm okay with it - I think some guys dig it and some don't
2 - um... get it on with yourself? Honestly - I dont' do that : ) I know, I know - I'm so crazy and am missing out...it just never crossed my mind to try!
3 - "service" your DH (without actual intercourse being involved)? Pretty often - DH loves it and it is a good way for us to feel close like that without having to freak him out thinking about sticking it in where his little girl is living right now haha

1 - have sex? umm never.i had bleeding issues in 1st tri so was too scared and now i'm just way too big and have no intereset
2 - um... get it on with yourself? ummm never either, never really thought about doing though, again too pararnoid
3 - "service" your DH (without actual intercourse being involved) i try to at least once a week but sometimes it is longer. its getting hard to do now too!
omg girlie!!! you are def "so crazy and missing out"!!! hahaha
i can't imagine life without the occasional romp with onesself 
i say you try it out sooner than later!! haha

I know! haha - all my girlfriends make fun of me for it - have since high school! It just never occured to me! I don't even know when I would do it! : ) OMG I feel like such a prude right now!
1. we hardly ever have sex anymore....in fact I think last time we did was about a month ago. it's so uncomfortable.....

Rarely... I'm no prude - I just don't have the time or energy. I'd rather sleep.

Also about 1x a week - showers are good for this. (eta: I'm talking handy's not bj's - those are bi-annual events 'round these parts - makes 'em appreciate it more when it's rare
1. 3 times, I think? DH wasn't into it.
2. Seriously? Like, daily. My libido was insane.
3. Once? I would have more if he "needed" it but DH's libido went down while I was pregnant.
LO #1 - 1 unmedicated/self-monitored IUI w/ donor sperm.
LO #2 - 1 m/c, 2 BFNs, 4th IUI worked (unmedicated/self-monitored with new donor sperm).

my insane increase in drive late 3rd tri was most likely the reason Ava came a couple weeks early. Davez was working alot. I was not. And they have a good search funtion on boys food dot com to suit the ladies, too. lol.
I can't remember the last time I gave him a BJ... he won't stop at that, he wants the sex after. We have sexy time maybe 2 times a month, other than sexy week for baby making. That's fine with us.

during pregnancy i was a fiend..even when i was worried, i couldn't help myself, haha
1. we did when we got the all clear at 12 weeks..before then it was fooling around w/out the "O"..after, it was at least 2-3 times a week until about 27 weeks, sometimes almost every night
2. i did AT LEAST once a week, again until 27 weeks (bedrest)?
3. again a couple of times a week.., i slowed down when i was on bedrest, because like i said, i was a fiend..and i would get too worked up, and want to do something too..
my oh my, how times have changed, haha..at least he had a marathon before the well ran dry..haha?

1. pelvic rest 1st tri, then suddenly the hormones started working and we did it a few times a week during second tri, then in the 3rd, maybe once or twice a week.
2. A few times, but I had a hard time getting comfortable, and without DH there fluffing pillows, it was hard to enjoy myself! Not at all in the 3rd tri.
3. we were having enough sex to keep him happy, but during the pelvic rest times, he was more than happy!
1. uh NEVER. So annoying. My DH is over it. He's too worried (same way with my DD 5 years ago). I personally think it's lame... can you tell I have some issues with this choice???
2. At least 1/week
3. Rarely, again, I'm always down, he's the one holding back. Booo!!! Pregnancy sex life is not existent for myself. Oh well... soon enough he better give it up!
1 - not at all. Too scared with our history, and even if we weren't, I'm on pelvic rest.

3 - ?not at all - I guess I'm a bad wife, but he can do it better than I can and I'm uncomfortable doing anything with a chance of getting me riled up since I'm very paranoid about it.

1. Haven't at all so far. I had some spotting at 6w2d and Dr. told me to not have sex for 2 weeks so of course now I am too scared to at all. Maybe as time goes on, but I think I'll always worry even though I know it's "safe".
2. Haven't since BFP - again too scared to shake things up in there! lol
3. I am a bad wife too I guess. I blame it on getting my m/s at night and DH doesn't get home from work (at least for one more week) until 10:00. But I plan to make this better eventually.

1. We never had sex during pgncy. It freaked dh too much.
2. I lost my desire to have sex when I got pregnant and it hasn't really returned so this never happens.

1. Lots of "pelvic rest" off/on in the first tri. I try to do it every week, but sometimes we go a couple of weeks without it.
2. Every day. Yes, seriously. This hormones are crazy. And I'm not working - and it gets boring during the day. And it helps me to sleep at night. Yep - freak flag flying.
3. I think I've teased him with a little bj action once or twice the whole pg. I'm not here to make him feel better. I want to feel better. I'm the one doing all the work.
