Oh also, I try getting down to his level and explaining why he can't have something or why it is dangerous. He just laughs and continues on. It's such a struggle

I always try to be involve whit her outdoors and indoors stuff ,activities, library etc etc.
and she loves it.
I hope this is just a temporary stage than she is getting cranky and upset easy.
Three year olds are honestly hilarious. The imagination at this age is something else — my son had an imaginary friend called "Blue Man" for about six months and would set a place for him at the dinner table every night.
The emotional regulation piece is still really hard at 3 even though they seem so much more grown up. They have big feelings and limited tools. Patience and consistency are everything at this stage! 😊
