@fifilala516 agreed. I don't particularly care what other people think about our names, they can make their own baby if they want to name one. We mainly just stopped sharing with my family 😂 because I was tired of my mom whining about how we didn't pick "her name". Harder to whine when the baby's here and paperwork is done. But we are still very in limbo with this baby's name so I'm just not in the mood to hear negativity once we find something.
I think we finally have a really strong contender. DH isn’t committing to the name but I feel in my heart it’s the right one. Out of respect for DH I haven’t making definitive statements when people ask and we still might change our minds in the coming weeks, but we’ve been trying it out with each other and I like it more each time we do
@midnightatsunset we are in the same boat but opposite! DH is extremely sold on a name, and I don't hate it but I'm not sure I can commit. I would use it for a middle name in a heartbeat but it gives me pause as a first name, so we haven't shared.
@midnightatsunset It is not going well at all. The only names I can think of are Imogen, which is maybe too weird, and Zoe, which is maybe too common. I feel like I just don't like any girl names. I don't know what I'm going to do!
If I had to find a girl name it would be so easy. Boy names are so ridiculously hard for me. I also don’t like nicknames so that limits the options.
So far, we have settled on Ethan. Jacob. I like it. It goes with the other names we have for our kids. We are keeping our options open until we see him.
