  • Hi Everyone,

Sorry I am a little late discovering this board. I am 29 years old and pregnant with our first.

    Due date: 12/30

Other children/pets: no children but we do have 2 dogs who haven't seemed to notice anything is different just yet.

Jobs: I work from home in project management. I feel very lucky because I can't imagine having to have a long commute or spend all day away with my symptoms.

How we found out: we are super planners so we have been planning to try and getting things done for the last year. We had been trying and I knew something was different. My husband was away for work so I took a test and surprised him when he got back. He was very excited.

How are you feeling? This week (week 8) my fatigue hasn't been as bad which has allowed me to do some things I neglected the last few weeks when all I wanted was to sleep. I am hungry all the time and my boobs are so sore.
  • Welcome @philosophyw - it’s nice to have another Wisconsinite here 😊
  • Introduce yourself: hi! First time mama, 34 y/o, 12w2d!

Due date: Dec 10, though my NT scan today estimated Dec 6 ??

How you found out: hips and knees and, if I remember right, ankles were aaaaching a few days before period was supposed to come and that tipped me off… thinking “well that’s different.” Took a test 2 days after missed and that second line showed up immediately!

I have a lovely fiance but no pets, I love writing and I work in sports & entertainment.

How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? Miserable! 🥴 I have Hyperemesis, so it has been a rouuuggghh 6 weeks (to say the least). If you’re also dealing with this, I would love to chat more!

P.S. onions and garlic are banned in my house 🙃

Introduce yourself: Hi! My name is Tess. I am 34.  I live in MN.

    Due date: 12/26/2025🎄

How you found out: I was late for my period and tested. It was quite the surprise 😅

    Tell us about yourself
    Other children/pets?
I have 3 other children. A 10 yo, 7 yo, and 5 yo. We also have 2 dogs and 1 cat.
    Job? I am a SAHM
Things you like to do? I love to read and garden
Spouse/partner? My husband and I were a little surprised by this news. We were thinking we were done but here we are haha.

How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? I am doing alright. Still processing emotionally but overall I think it will be great.
  • Introduce yourself: Hi, I’m Macy! I’m 26 y/o and so excited to be a mommy again!

    Due date: 12/16/2025

How you found out: Got my IUD out in Feb., and was trying to avoid pregnancy until the summer, but in March I had a gut feeling we “messed up”. My sister texted me out of the blue saying she couldn’t wait to buy newborn stuff again, which was suspicious so I took a test and it was immediately positive! Hubby and I couldn’t believe it. Fast forward to NIPT results and we were shocked to find out our family is welcoming a sweet baby boy. Both hubby and I were shocked!

Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?)

My daughter just turned 2 years old and will be exactly 2.5 when baby brother gets here! I’m a SAHM who lives in the Chicagoland area. We have two pups and a cat as well, so it’s a full house over here. We love to travel as a family and can’t wait for baby brother to complete our family.

How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)?

truthfully this pregnancy has been a cake walk in comparison to my pregnancy with my daughter, I was horribly sick with her. I do have ehlers Danlos so I do have generalized pain with this pregnancy, but I’m actively in PT to help combat a lot of my pains. If any other mom on here has EDS I would love to communicate further with you!!!

Introduce yourself:  Rebecca, I'm 34 and this is my 3rd pregnancy! I live in Toronto, Canada.

    Due date: Dec 4th/2025

How you found out: I have an irregular cycle and was testing for ovulation and decided to test pregnancy too. it was a shock because our 2nd was only 9 months old.

Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I have 2 sons, a 4 y/o and 1 y/o. Hoping for a girl this time because we both think this will be our last since I've had c-sections they don't recommend more than 4 so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I'm a SAHM and my oldest just finished his first year of school, so we're hoping to enjoy the summer break, ween the 1 y/o off bottles and pacifiers before September, and then get ready for the new baby!

How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? I've been so sick this entire pregnancy, nausea has been through the roof. My cravings are so different and specific this time around, unlike my first 2. Just really really tired and hoping for a break sometime soon but not counting on it as I'm coming up on halfway.
  • wishing i was part of this thread, i’m peeking from the january thread & its just so active here 🥲 i wish y’all the best
  • @BumpAdmin there is a bot on all of the BMBs!
  • Introduce yourself:

Hi everyone! I'm Dayna from Texas

    Due date: 23 December

    How you found out:

Symptoms for period came but nothing else. The test I took after to confirm turned pink super quickly

Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?):

First baby! We have two fur babies though. One of them is super protective and the other one seems less than enthused. Hopefully she comes around.

This boy is the first grandbaby on both sides of the family so hopefully he does not get too spoiled. I work as a data analyst and prefer numbers to people. Hopefully the little one does not get that from me. My hubby is either super charming or super unwelcoming so hopefully the little one is somewhere in the middle of both of us.

We like to travel and have started talking about kid appropriate adventures for the little one. I think we are looking at taking him to the beach first. Even though neither of us are beach people. Ha ha

How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)?

Tired! Been so so so tired throughout this whole time. And nervous. Hopefully the little one likes me!
  • Introduce yourself:

Hi all! Late to the party, sorry! Missed my connection in Newark.

    I’m Alice, from South Carolina.

Due date: 12/11, but I’m electing at 39 weeks because my babies get huuuuge.

    How you found out:
We were trying and I tested the first day I could—knew I was positive before any symptoms. First try, which after PCOS issues and a long wait before was astonishing.

Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?):
This is boy #3. I have a Covid baby and a 3 year old. Two torbie cats, Storm Drain and Crawlspace. They’re a mother-daughter pair and you’ll never guess where we found them. Married 12 years to my college sweetheart.

I’m a comedian—show in Chicago in a few weeks at the historic Annoyance Theatre, which I am SO EXCITED about—and a short humor writer. I contribute to Reductress and have had work in McSweeney’s and other places.

For fun, I’m a big reader. Lots of nonfiction/history books in the last year or two, but also some more law/policy/social science (I’m a recovering lawyer—please don’t hold that against me). I love travel and skydiving in cool places (one of those two is on hold). Favorite drop zones so far include Oahu’s North Shore and Cairns, Queensland (you can see the Great Barrier Reef from 14,500 feet!) Dream DZ is Dubai over Palm Island and Interlaken, Switzerland (they jump from helicopters!)—someday!

How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)?
    Large and tired.
