  • Me! 41 and almost 9 weeks :)
  • 42 and 13 weeks tomorrow with baby number 4
  • Hey mama!! I am 41. Just found out yesterday. I am maybe 4 weeks. So super early! I'd love to connect since we in the ama category lol
  • Congratulations, momma! I’m 40 and about 7 weeks along 😀 First baby and having all the feels 😇
  • I’m 43 at 7 weeks! This is my first and I’m over the moon! How is everybody feeling?
  • I am 40 and 4 weeks. I just found out I am pregnant this week.
  • Congratulation! I am 45 years old and 24 weeks 🤰 so far! Wow! What a blessing! 😊
  • Hi I’m 40 and 16 weeks with my second. I have an 11 year old, such a blessing and so excited!
  • I'm 45 three months pregnant I notice I have been spotting and didn't expect this...maybe it's due to my hormones at mid life? I'm nervous also because my IUD is iny uterus and hoping and praying all goes smoothly
  • I’m 44 and 15weeks.  I had my daughter at 39 and we had been ttc for over 3 years and had recently given up and scheduled a vasectomy just to take it off the table… then bam! This little spirit wanted to come through.  We’ve had 5 pregnancies in total so definitely still feeling a little nervous about “everything being ok” but so far it all seems good.  Happy to be in second tri….

Im looking for other ideas, inspiration, advice on keeping spirits and energy up for us older mamas.  There are so many warnings out there!  I want to feel excited!
  • Everything will be ok, you're in your second trimester and this was meant to be since y'all had already given up. I'm kinda in the same boat...I had given up as well, our first I had at 37 and thought that was my one and only miracle. I'm 42 with this one and almost to week 13, try not to be nervous..have faith in God's plan...it seems nowadays no matter what age there's risk...just stay positive 🥰
  • 41 with baby number 4 , but our 1st together! We are 11 weeks
  • "You're definitely not alone in feeling this way! Congratulations on your pregnancy, and it's completely understandable to have mixed emotions, especially after going through a miscarriage. It's okay to be nervous and cautious, but also allow yourself to enjoy this beautiful journey as it progresses.

Every step is a milestone, and when you reach that point where you can shout it out loud, it will be a moment filled with joy and excitement. Wishing you a healthy and smooth pregnancy, and remember, there's a supportive community here for you every step of the way! 🌟💕"
  • Girl I am in the same boat as you . I am 43 and will be 44 when I have baby
  • Prayers for you mama 💕
  • 43 and I am 6 weeks 🥰
  • Congratulations mama🙌🏾💕🥰

40 year old here...will be 41 in a couple weeks and will be a first time mom. My partner and I started trying last month and found out we were pregnant last week, so in week 5 now! Still in shock, as I thought we'd be trying longer, but I'm cautiously excited for our first appt/ultrasound. We're waiting til week 8 for our first appt. Best wishes to everyone. How's everyone feeling? So far slightly sore and fuller boobs and some nausea here and there.
  • Just turned 44 here and 4 weeks. 2nd pregnancy, son is 8 and I asked hubby if he had any regrets on one and done and he said yes but no pressure:) excited to be adding to our little family
  • massive congrats
  • 45 and had u/s appt today. I’m 6w4d and although the doc did see a sac and embryo along with what she said” slight flicker “ of a heart beat. Another doctor came in and said, “yeah it’s very small and won’t amount to anything especially at your age “
My doc said come back in a week to recheck and that I’m measuring closer to 6 weeks. I’m not sure how she determined that because no measurements were taken. My HCG levels have been checked and they stopped doubling last week. I’m not expecting a great outcome but just wondering if anyone else has had an experience like this.
  • 40 and 4 weeks. Just found out and this was not planned.
  • Hey I’m 44 and 4 weeks with baby #3!
  • 42 (almost 43) and just got a positive test yesterday. I’ve had a few early losses in the past so I’m nervous but hopeful. This will be my first!
  • 41 (will be 42 at EDD). Complete surprise and remarkably calm. I'll chalk that up to wisdom that comes with my geriatric status. One prior early loss.
  • 43 and 38 weeks pregnant. Planning for induction next weekend. This will be our first and we are so excited. We had two miscarriages in the past and were told it was almost impossible to convince naturally and have a successful pregnancy. Right up until we conceived this time we were told my follicles weren't maturing enough, but here we are with a healthy baby girl about to make her appearance. 💕 I wish everyone all the best!
  • 45 and 6wks 2 days w/1st pregnancy! So excited.
  • Hoping to get some more recent updates on this thread! I am 42 and 7 weeks and 4 days with our first! Pretty sure it’s the first time I’ve ever been pregnant! Wild!

I just found this thread after 2 months back at the Bump. I found out I'm preg with baby number 3 (pregnancy number 2) back in April. My twins are 8 and my first thought was, "I'm already old, fay, and tired... and I'm about to be fatter and more tired." I'm in week 13 now. And I have to say, 2nd time around is much easier. It helps that there's only one in there. But I'm still Hella tired. I pretty much didn't work and slept most of the first 2 months. Just in the last week and a half am I coming out of it and able to function... although at the level of an exhausted pigeon.
  • I’m so glad to have found you all!! Congratulations to each and every momma in our 40s. 💜

I’m 46, 7 weeks today and got the shock of a lifetime when I learned my new husband and I were expecting just 3 weeks ago. This is pregnancy 6 for me and our first together. I have three adult kids. Yeah. Read that again LOL. Had two losses previously so anxiously excited. Very happy to have some other mommas in this with me.
  • Hello, I am 42 and 14w4days pregnant. This is my first Miracle.
  • Hi everyone I’m 9 weeks and 46 naturally wow! My oldest is 26yrs and my second is 9 wow! Again
  • 46 here as well. W7D4. Wasn’t trying to conceived but it happened. I have a 9 year old from previous relationship. I really hope it sticks and we get to welcome a baby in July.
  • Congrats!!. When did you find out? Trying to figure out if pregnancy tests are slower to rise when over 40. Ty!!
  • Hi All, love seeing these new posts! I just came back in to say I’m 37 weeks and have an induction scheduled for 12/26!! Baby boy is doing great and we cannot wait to meet him! It felt like it took forever for me to feel comfortable being pregnant since I was so nervous but everything went well to date and hoping for a smooth birth! Hoping for the same for you all!
  • Found out 10 days after my 40th (December 2024) that I'm pregnant! 🤣 my son is 11! Hope you and baby are happy and well ❤
