Looks like this board is turning into a newborn board, but I know there are a few of us still hanging around, super jealous of all of these outside babies. :-)
I am due 9/26. Still a whopping 1cm dilated. My doc was actually surprised I was still pregnant when I went for my appt on Friday (mainly since I was early with DS1....although every pregnancy is different). I go back Monday for a BPP to check on the health and growth status of baby. He has been measuring big all along too. EEK! We arent even talking induction until I am atleast full term. And even then, I need to show more signs that my body is starting to get ready.
And I actually feel pretty good. Uncomfy of course. My ankles and calves are so swollen, which is something I never experienced during my 1st pregnancy. Still have alot of BH (some stronger than others) but nothing crazy. I just have this strange feeling that baby will be in there till October!!
How is everyone else doing? You all doing anything specific to help jump start labor?

I am here. Due the 29th, and Dr. won't even think about inducing until 41 weeks because there is really no reason. I had DS a week early due to high BP, but this time, I have been healthy as an ox! On Thursday, I was 1cm and 20%, but baby isn't engaged yet. He is still "swimming around". He is also sunny side up, but Dr. is pretty confident he will turn during labor.
I have had BH since about 5 months pg, so I pretty much ignore them now. They are slightly more intense. I notice that now when I get one, I kinda can't move. I need to let it lighten up for a few seconds first, then I can re-adjust myself and it goes away. I have tried most OWT at this point. Yesterday I ate eggplant parm for lunch, spicy Chinese for dinner, had red raspberry leaf tea and walked the mall last night....NADA. I am mentally preparing myself to have an Oct. baby. DS's 4th birthday is this Thursday, so now I just want to be around for that. So, if this little guy doesn't want to come this weekend, he needs to wait.
I'm due Sept 26th as well, not really dialated and only a little soft as of Thursday. I did start losing MP yesterday though, so maybe it's something (but most likely it's nothing). I have had some kind of painful BH, some of them even timeable, but they don't seem to be doing much.
I'm still pretty comfortable in general, and I really don't expect this baby to come until the first week of October. I've been saying since the beginning that my "due date" was the end of September/early October.
We have a busy weekend of seeing friends today, diner with my ILs Sunday and Diner with my parents Monday before my dad goes away for 2 weeks.
Here, due 9/28 (39 wks 1 day today) and totally expected baby to arrive around 38 weeks because DS did - dumbest thing to hope for ever.
I've been having lots of BH, especially at night (I think I just notice them more because DS is asleep and I can sit still and thus feel them). At my appt yesterday I was 4 cm and 90% effaced, baby "WAY down low" per the MW. Know that the dilation "progress" doesn't mean anything but at least encouraged that SOMETHING is happening.
Having crazy dreams - last night dreamt that all of a sudden I looked down, and baby's foot and leg were hanging out - it seemed so real. Had the baby in my bed at home with no pain, haha. If only! It was a girl and she was perfect. I woke up still pregnant... sigh.
Would love love love for baby to arrive this weekend because my parents have DS (they live about 2 hours away) and it would be so much easier if it happened in the middle of the night or something not to have to worry about who to call to come be with him, etc. The logistics and nice and simple when it's just DH and I.
Have been having sex once a day which REALLY hurts - but who knows. Hopefully could kick start something.
GL everyone! Hang in there! Good thoughts for all of us.
I'm here, due tomorrow, but have an induction scheduled for Tuesday if she doesn't come on her own due to my placenta calcifying prematurely.
I really thought last night was the night. I had so much pressure that I couldn't even walk, and super painful contractions while trying to sleep. But, they tapered off and I woke up still PG.
I'm super sick to my stomach this morning, and still have a ton of pressure, so fingers crossed for today!
I'm still here too! Due Sept 27th... I thought for sure baby would have been here by now. I had really strong contractions around 37-38 weeks and then everything just stopped. We had the eggplant parmesan (the recipe that supposedly induces labor), I've tried walking, sex, and I'm about to eat an entire pineapple. I know I still have time, but my vacation starts Monday and I only have 2 weeks off.
So I really hope to spend every day off with my LO, DD and DH.
I'm feeling fine...I actually went running with DD the other night (my DH was not happy about this). I'm only uncomfortable when I sleep at night, and it's tolerable.
At my last appt on Thursday, doc said I was about 3 cm, 50% and baby was super low (which is why I feel him/her in my butt!!). She also said that I have Gestational Hypertension (not quite pre-e, but they're monitoring me). I'm supposed to be induced if it gets to a certain point, but so far, my BP has stayed lower than their cutoff for induction. I want this baby out!!
I'm due the 3O th and really frustrated! I'm 50% effaced and not dilated at all. My contractions have stopped over the past few days. I just want some progress! I'm measuring 45 weeks and she is measuring 8.8lbs as of earlier this week. I'm terrified of having a 10lb baby. MH and his siblings were basically that size, so I feel I have reason for concern.
Im eating pineapple, molesting MH into sex ever chance I get, rasp leaf tea, plan on eggplant for dinner. Waking is tough cause it hurts so much! I don't know what to do...
I was due on the 18th and still around! I've also tried every trick in the book. I start getting my hopes up and then when things get really bad I lie down for a second and it all goes away.
I'm doing a mass cleaning today, grocery shopping and walking the mall. Hopefully that will start things off, but I doubt it.
I really want to have this baby this week while my husband has some down time at work because of the rainy weather we have been getting.
Due the 28th. All along, I've thought Oct. 1st. I'd be fine with that, but I REALLY don't want to go much over. (Not that I have the slightest bit of control, I realize.)
I had to stop working on Thursday and had planned to work up until my due date, at the earliest, because I don't have the accrued sick leave to just take pre-baby time. (Doc wrote me out due to high BP.) So now I'm just trying to cook as much as possible, keep on top of cleaning, and get some work done from home.
Anytime after the weekend, I'm ready. H is off tomorrow, so it'll be our last full day together before LO arrives. I'd like to enjoy it while we can.
I made the supposedly labor inducing eggplant Thursday night, and will be having the leftovers tonight. Bloody show at lunchtime today, now irregular contractions. Been walking, too...so hoping for a baby in the next couple of days! maybe? c'mon, baby!

i'm due on the 30th, and im ready to meet my LO, however i have a feeling he is gonna stay in another week if not longer. I lost my mucus plug on Labor Day, been having BH for about a month already. I've tried eating spicy foods, walking, sex. I had my first internal check today and there's no dilation and very little softening.
I'm very uncomfortable all the time, finding little relief. constant back ache, pubic symphysis diastasis.
