Introduce yourself: Hi everyone! I'm Sara and this will be my first baby. I just recently turned 37 and found out I was pregnant on my birthday!
Due date: Feb 2, 2025
How you found out: I've been going through fertility treatments for almost two years. This was an IVF cycle with donor eggs (I have pretty severe endometriosis and ended up having to go the donor route after a long string of disappointments.) After my IVF cycle I went in on the planned date and had a blood hCG done. Imagine my shock when it was positive after so many letdowns!
Tell us about yourself: (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I'm a medical coder for a hospital system in Colorado. I work from home (which I absolutely love) and in my spare time I have quite a few hobbies. I love to read and write and I do cross stitch. I have a 15 year old cat who has been my "child" all his life.
How are you feeling: (Physical symptoms, emotionally)? I don't think I've ever been so happy! Having worked so hard for this and finally getting a positive result has put me in a wonderful emotional state. Physically, though, I am extremely fatigued, I have to pee all the time, I have been struggling with a lot of headaches, and I feel bloated constantly. I can't eat one cracker without my body telling me I'm full already. Thankfully the nausea/morning sickness has been really light.
I'm so excited to get to meet others who will be having their babies around the same time.
How you found out: IVF blood work. After many years of being on the fence on a second child, we finally transferred one of our embryos from 2017 and it stuck.
Tell us about yourself: (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) we have one other son, he's 5 and 3/4 as he would say. It will certainly be a shock of all works out. I love with my kid, my husband and our cat. This is actually my 4th pregnancy. First was naturally conceived, but we lost it at 21.5 weeks to pprom (placental abruption), then we had my son, then in Jan 2021, I was totally shocked to find out I was pregnant-we had actually just moved, sadly I miscarried about 10 days after finding out I was pregnant. And now this one. With my history I'm trying not to get too invested, but so far so good. Had a 6 week ultrasound and will have an 8 before I "graduate" to my obgyn.
How are you feeling: (Physical symptoms, emotionally)? Like utter garbage. But I realize that's all good signs. But super sick and just exhausted. On top of all that I'm a little like, wtaf have I done? I really tried to be ok with just having one, but I never stopped wanting it. But now that I'm pregnant I'm like, this is just silly. We can't afford it, don't have space, we finally can like do things and aren't tied to the house, and now I'm gonna go back to all that.
I do have to say it's nice to see other people with big age gaps on here. I think I needed that reassurance. Also, have just been looking for somewhere to connect with other pregnant people because most people I know here don't know.
ETA: I'm a teacher and I like to exercise (sadly not doing much right now but I'm a runner at heart) and I sew. I noticed we had at least one other sewist on here.

How you found out: I test monthly. I happened to be away for work for a few days during the test. Not expecting it to come back, I put the test on the floor and looked down as I was cleaning things up and BAM! A cute little faint line. I'm not even sure how many DPO I was!
Tell us about yourself: My partner and I currently share custody of two very loving cats. I work in an office and he does physical labor (though I'm trying to convince him to change that in the near future!) I'm glad to have changed to the office as I used to also work a very physically demanding job. We don't get a lot of time to hobbies, but when we get the chance we do things like biking, playing games together, going on walks, etc. ◡̈
How are you feeling: I've been extremely fatigued since before I even tested positive. Extreme fatigue is a really common PMS symptom for me and since the period never showed up, it just decided to stay along for the ride! I've been beginning to feel some bouts of nausea in the last couple of days, to my dismay, as I don't plan on telling family until we at least make it to the second trimester!
How you found out: we started trying that month and my boobs got sore 2 or 3 DPO (it used to be a PMS symptom before my first pregnancy but hadn't been since then) so I had a feeling, kept testing until TADA faint line appeared on May 24th (the 24th is a special date in our family).
Tell us about yourself: mama to a 4 yo boy, a little miracle baby we did not expect as my husband (married 4.5 yrs) has had testicular cancer a few years earlier, and I have PCOS. We thought we would never have kids naturally, well BB#1 and BB#2 are proving us wrong! Also, I'm French and lived in Scotland for 6 years where we got married and had our son - hubby and I met in Sweden studying. That's the short version of that wild international story lol. We've been living in the US for 3 years now (well, my husband is from here), mostly in KS.
How are you feeling: nauseous! That really kicked in as an all-day-long kinda symptom a few days ago (it was also all day long with my first), tired, SUPER irritable, sore boobs still and cramps here and there. But we saw our little bean at the first US a few days ago and I felt so relieved and happy. We're excited, even if that's probably gonna mean some major changes in our lives (we might have to move house).
Hi everyone! I’m Kimberly and I live in NJ. I am head of the children’s department at a public library. I am 39 years old and this is (hopefully) my first baby. We’ve been going through IVF for over a year and I’ve previously suffered two miscarriages so I want to be ecstatic but instead am terrified.
Our due date is Valentine’s Day! I found out 6/7 after our embryo transfer in late May. It was the longest two week wait of my life!!!! But so worth it.
So far I feel great…. aside from the all consuming exhaustion! I’ve had sore and heavy boobs since the beginning. Occasionally they disappear for a day and come right back. They went away about 5 days ago and haven’t come back so I’m scared it’s a bad sign.
We have our last appointment at our fertility clinic on Tuesday (assuming all goes well) and then we graduate to our regular OB!
The hardest part is keeping the secret from my mom! My sister knows, but I need to wait until a “safer time” to tell my mom. She’s going to be through the roof so I’m counting down until I can tell her!!
I'm Juni, 31, checking in from the evergreen state. Due date is 27 Feb, and I'm honestly hoping little one comes exactly then. My newlywed husband and I planned this kiddo, so we're stoked. I'm a first time mom, and found out I was pregnant at 3w+3d though I had a hunch for the few days prior. My sister and husband were encouraging me to take a test and sure enough it was positive. My initial symptoms were tomato cravings, s random onset of insomnia, sore breasts, mood swings, bloat, a sinus infection (womp womp), exhaustion, and a sudden aversion to coffee and caffeine in general (I LOVE coffee).
Currently I'm a full time student. Nausea is creeping up on me day by day, so smoothies are my best friend at the moment.
Heyy mamas, I’m Jolie. I’m 19 going on 20 and this will be my first baby. Congratulations to all the other mamas and I hope for a safe and speedy delivery!🥳
Due date:February 7th
How you found out: Me and my Husband had been trying for a year and we couldn’t get pregnant. After my mom moved out of our house and we loss a close friend I was a few days late and we decided to test. We bought two and both were positive.
Tell us about yourself: My husband and I don’t have anymore children but we have 4 fur babies. We got together in 2021 and got engaged in 2022. A few months later we got a home together and soon after got married. We’ve been married for a year on the 11th of July. I am currently not working due to a few things so my husband takes care of us financially and I do all the house wife things.
How are you feeling: my nausea has been at a 10 and I’ve been sick pretty much since I found out. It comes and goes but is definitely there. I have lost my appetite for things I used to love like chicken but I haven’t got any actual cravings yet.
Hi everyone! I'm Sky, I am 32 years old and live in Oklahoma.
Due date: February 7, 2025
How you found out: A couple days before my expected period my boobs were very sore, which has never happened. I took out a trusty dollar tree test from the stash and it was positive!
Tell us about yourself: This will be our first baby but we have 6 furbabies in our household that will be great siblings. My boyfriend and I had been working on moving in together. We were planning which rooms will be the office and game room but now we are planning a nursery!
How are you feeling: I'm feeling surprisingly well. I have some breast soreness that is just the worst but I've been so lucky in other areas! We have all the emotions right now. I was on the pill so we were shocked. We wanted kids in the future though so we are also excited. We had our ultrasound yesterday so we are very relieved to have confirmation that everything is going well so far.
Hi, my name is Rileigh and I am estimated to be nine weeks ( but could be further haven’t had my first appointment yet). I am 22 years old and this is my first pregnancy. I am currently a bartender while I am still trying to finish my masters degree!
Due date: estimated to be around the beginning of Feb or end of Jan
How I found out: I have been throwing up randomly while I was cooking for myself for about a week and decided to take a test.
Tell us about yourself: I was definitely planning on waiting or possibly not having any kids so this was quite a shock, for me and my boyfriend. Despite all of the nervousness and anxiety we are feeling I do think we are both starting to get a little excited about the idea. I do have a fur baby her name is Iris and is a cat and I’ve had her since 2018.
How are you feeling: absolutely terrified of this whole pregnancy thing not even trying to think of giving birth. I am also so very nauseated so any tips for that besides sprite and crackers would be great!

Never let your stomach get empty. And don't let yourself get dehydrated. Eat small amounts frequently. For me it's literally every hour🫤
Introduce yourself: my name is Tina. I’m 36 and 9 weeks along with my second pregnancy. My littles will be 18th months apart.
Due date: February 18th
How you found out: I noticed my temperature hadn’t dipped like it normally does before my cycle starts over. Took a test and it was positive.
Tell us about yourself: I’ve been married to my husband for almost 13 years. We had our first child last August and are excited for this new adventure. We have a dog and cat as well.
How are you feeling: Overall good. I have been having the same indigestion I had during my third trimester now so that’s been a new experience. I had GD during my first pregnancy and expect to have it with this one as well.
@saratonin9 I am so happy for you!! My cousin is in her thirties and has been trying to have children for the longest time.. I have so much sympathy for people in this situation! I am starting a remote job on Monday 7/29 and am so looking forward to it. This is my first pregnancy and I am due February 5th. I have 2 cats that are my children also!! I have been lucky to not have too many symptoms, but I did struggle with appetite loss earlier on. I’m trying to gain weight, as I am only 106 lbs right now. Hoping for a healthy pregnancy for you!!
Hi, everyone! My name is Lola. I am 25 years old and live in Georgia. This is my first pregnancy and I am due February 5th. I got engaged to my boyfriend of 5-6 years on April 13th, while on my period. On May 31st, I realized I had not had a period since! I went to breakfast with my best friend and her mom and told them I was afraid I may be pregnant. However, my periods have always been somewhat regularly irregular. I decided to purchase two home tests and both were positive. I was absolutely terrified and overwhelmed, as I had just begun planning my wedding for May of 2025 and had to rethink some things. However, we have sorted things out, the wedding is still on for May 2nd and I am so excited! My fiancé has a 14-year-old son who stays with us every other week. We also have two cats. My employer of four years is retiring so I’m starting a remote job this Monday at Cranial Technologies. This will be my first time working from home and I’m very relieved. I have been lucky not to have many symptoms.. mild nausea, fatigue, headaches during week 5-6 when I dramatically decreased my caffeine intake, & I am currently on antibiotics for BV. Today is day 1 of week 12 and I am finally seeing a bump!
Introduce yourself: I’m Sara. I’m 37 and this is my 3rd and 4th (just found out I’m having twins!). I also have a son (11) and daughter (7) as well.
Due date: 2/9/25
How you found out: We were trying for our 3rd. I took a test a few days before I missed my period and it was positive. I didn’t have my first ultrasound until this week (at 11 weeks), and found out I’m having twins, which is both exciting and overwhelming!!
Tell us about yourself: I have two kids already: my son is 11 and my daughter is 7. I’m married and a teacher so we are currently off for the summer, which I’m thankful for getting to nap whenever I need to.
How are you feeling: I have all the symptoms lol but the worst has been nausea and just being really incredibly tired. Definitely more symptoms than my past pregnancies, which I know now is because of having double the babies! Really can’t complain overall though and am just happy to be expecting my new little ones.

Congrats! I'm also 37 and expecting my 3rd (no twins☺️). My son is 11 and my daughter is 9, so we have a couple things in common!
Introduce yourself: Amanda, 39 Austin, TX 1st Pregnancy - 10w4d Miscarriage in December 2023
Due date: 2/15/25
How you found out: My husband and I had been trying and I tested positive 3 days before I missed my period
Tell us about yourself: we have a dog named Barbie I represent a fine wine/craft spirits portfolio in Central Texas
Things you like to do?
I *did* love wine tasting, love Pilates, cooking, trying new restaurants, travel, pickleball, hosting friends, shopping
How are you feeling: Have not been nauseous once in 10w 4d; I’m exhausted; Moody; Sore Boobs! I am feeling nervous, cautiously optimistic- my doctor says this pregnancy is textbook so far, no issues (I had growth tracking/sac shape issues last pregnancy)
Going in for genetic/gender testing on Friday. Excited/Nervous for the big day!
Hello mommas!! Congratulations to you all!! I’m Em, 25 years old and due Feb 22 with my second baby, my first is one year old My husband and I wanted to try for a second soon after our first so I was testing anytime my period came late — I’m pretty regular with 28 day cycles, so I tested on day 30 and the positive line was darker than the control line! I’ve been a SAHM now for a year and my husband works in architecture/design. We have lots of family in town which is a HUGE blessing and keeps me from going crazy! I had a planned home birth with my last and I am planning on the same if all goes well. I’ve been feeling better with this pregnancy than with my last, just sooo tired. It’s so hard to nap with a soon-to-be toddler on the move :’) My appetite weny away but I am eternally grateful for the lack of nausea.
Introduce yourself: I’m Anna, 38 years old expecting our first child!
Due date: 2/27
How you found out: After trying for close to a year and then working with a fertility doctor, we tried our first round of IUI at the beginning of June. And it worked!
Tell us about yourself: (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?)My husband and I live in Oregon and have two dogs. We love taking our dogs hiking in the mountains or to the coast.
How are you feeling: (Physical symptoms, emotionally)? Tired and nauseous mostly. Also overwhelmed at times and feel like I google everything to make sure I’m ok 😅
Introduce yourself: My name is Amanda. I’m 36 and this is my 4th pregnancy. I’m from San Diego and currently live in AZ. We’re planning on a homebirth (our second).
Due date: 2/19 (I think) will get confirmation at US. My uncertainty is only because I’m one of those rare ones who had a full blown “normal” period when I was pregnant with my second so I don’t trust periods right before getting pregnant. 🤔
How you found out: I had been suspecting it (tracking) and was a few days late. Took a test and it was positive.
Tell us about yourself: I’m a stay at home homeschool mom of 3 boys, ages, 8, 5 1/2, and 3. My husband and I have been married for 11 years and always planned on 4 kids. I like to be in nature, hike and ride my Onewheel. I also love all things creative/crafty.
How are you feeling: Physically, I have never been so consistently nauseous in a pregnancy. I haven’t vomited at all but I’m so sensitive to food and have to have the perfect amount of food in me at all times. If I eat too much, I feel nauseous, if I get too hungry, I feel nauseous, if I don’t have enough in my stomach, nauseas. And food aversion… hungry but nothing sounds good. So inconvenient. Also so tired all the time. Lastly, the dreaded heartburn has kicked in. Pretty sure cold water is giving me heartburn at this point. Trying Wonder Belly instead of tums this time around. This is the first time my boobs don’t hurt which is weird to me. Emotionally, just excited and also trying to process that this is most likely our last so trying to be mindful and grateful and cherish every ounce of this pregnancy along the way.
I just want to add that we have been team green from the beginning and have never found out our baby’s sex until they were born. Having 3 boys and really hoping for a girl is tempting me to find out this time around to be able to process any disappointment ahead of time but I think I’m just going to try to expect a boy and keep it a surprise. 🤞🏼 I know our baby will be whatever our family is meant to have.
Hello, I'm Cheryl. I'm 31 and this is my third pregnancy, no kids. I'm due on Feb 13.
I found out at a friend's bachelorette as my resting heart rate increased 7days post ovulation. Did the stick test a few days later and had it confirmed.
My partner and I are fairly outdoorsy, we love to go biking, hiking, and camping. First trimester has been hard with the decreased energy, but hasn't stopped us from adventuring this summer. I'm a teacher, so first trimester through summer break has been a perfect pairing.
I've been slow to join chats and such after having two miscarriages last year. The first at 5 weeks, the second at 8 weeks. Definitely had a panic attsck before the 8 week ultrasound this time around, but got a heartbeat! Apart from low energy and the constant fear of another missed miscarriage and it just sitting dead inside me until found, I've been doing well. Not too much nausea luckily! I have a super team of midwives who are advocating for me to get extra tests and scans, so that has been relieving as well.
Hi, Im Averi, 25, my third pregnancy but no children. I have 2 cats and work as a 3rd shift CNA in ME.
My due date is February 10th.
I found out after i got out of work from my second job (hobby job) after crying my whole shift. I had lost my maternal grandmother a month and 2 days prior to finding out so i had effectively given up for the time being.
My hobbies are painting, reading and playing video games with my boyfriend.
Ive been horribly emotional, nauseated(day and night), which started more in the 2nd trimester, and fatigued but excited. We found out the gender and picked out a name.

I'm so sorry for the loss of your grandma. I'm in a similar situation- my maternal grandmother died May 4 and we found out we were pregnant June 7. It's been a bit of an emotional ride. Sending you hugs.
Introduce yourself: I'm 35 years old, living in the southwest, soon to be back in Texas :)
Due date: 2/11/25
How you found out: I tested at 15 DPO I went on a hike in the heat of the day the day before I tested, and my hands got super swollen, which is not normal for me. That was my first clue ;)
Tell us about yourself: (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I just got married in October of last year (first marriage), I have an 11yo son, and 2 bad kitties. I was previously a single mom working from home and homeschooling, and continued working from home until June of this year. I am now a SAHM, still homeschooling, and SO excited about our growing family!
How are you feeling: (Physical symptoms, emotionally)? I'm feeling a lot better now being in the 2nd trimester, but I'm still TIRED. Out of breath all the time, and I have to take a lot more breaks. Being pregnant at 35 is way different than being pregnant at 23 😅
My name is Shannon. I’m 33 and currently 16 weeks pregnant with my first baby love.
My baby boy is due 02/19 - just a few days before my own birthday.
My husband and I had been casually “trying” for a few months, not putting any pressure on ourselves. A few days after my grandmom’s funeral I was due for my period but didn’t feel like waiting for it to come as a tell sign so I took a test thinking it’d be negative like all the others but surprise surprise! I know in my heart her spirit lives on in this special little human.
I’m newly married - coming up on our first full year in a couple weeks. We both work full time and invest in real estate on the side. My husband has one adult son from a previous marriage and we have a cat together.
So far I’ve been feeling great. I’ve had my share of fatigue and headaches every now and again but nothing unbearable. I’m truly feeling blessed to be going through this experience. I’m nervous but extremely excited about motherhood.
How you found out: my cycle is pretty accurate, only ever being a day late a hand full of times in my adult life. But I had been weirdly emotional and was a day late so I tested on my birthday... and surprise, positive!
Tell us about yourself: I'm a hairstylist. I have a 4 yo (who is very excited for a sister), 2 giant fluffy cats and a SO that I've been with for 9 years.
How are you feeling: first trimester morning sickness was rough and I wasn't expecting it to stick around for the second but it has. Thankfully, a little a less severe.
My name is Maggie, I’m 25, I live in California and this is my first.
Due date: February 16th. 23wks + 2d. Currently team green as baby refuses to cooperate when we try to confirm gender.
How you found out: rolled my ankle on a camping trip and when they came in to wrap it up they also told me to get ready to wrap something else up in a seven months.
Tell us about yourself: I work admin at the fire department, it’s where I met my boyfriend of almost three years. We have a five year old lab husky mix named Rizzo and I love camping, hiking, anything in any body of water, used to be way heavier into extreme sports but as recommended by my doctor due to my already clumsy self not pregnant, I had to shelve the crazy sports for after baby.
How are you feeling: first trimester was rough, realllly rough. I still have a good hour or two each day that I need to actively subdue the waves of nausea and my emotions are all over the place over the silliest things but, all in all, I’m okay.
Introduce yourself: My name is Zo, 31F, and I live in Florida.
Due date: Feb 26th
How you found out: I had weird back pain one night so I took the test the next morning and found out I was pregnant 😅
Tell us about yourself: (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) This will be my first, I'm a business consultant, I like playing video games, watching anime, kayaking, hiking, and swimming. I have a lovely husband, together for 4 years, married for 2 ❤️
How are you feeling: (Physical symptoms, emotionally)? Physical the pain has been slowly increasing but otherwise I've had a fairly easy pregnancy. No vomiting, just indigestion. Emotionally I'm thrilled but it still feels surreal. I was overweight and struggling with PCOS when I finally got pregnant and just started feeling the kicks, so it's kinda weird to be reminded that I'm pregnant every now and then lol
Kinda late but wouldn't mind finding some preggo friends here 😊
Re: Introductions

It's so nice to read all your stories!
Due date: Feb 3, 2025 (confirmed at first US)
How you found out: we started trying that month and my boobs got sore 2 or 3 DPO (it used to be a PMS symptom before my first pregnancy but hadn't been since then) so I had a feeling, kept testing until TADA faint line appeared on May 24th (the 24th is a special date in our family).
Looking forward to connecting with you all!
Currently I'm a full time student. Nausea is creeping up on me day by day, so smoothies are my best friend at the moment.
Introduce yourself: I’m Sara. I’m 37 and this is my 3rd and 4th (just found out I’m having twins!). I also have a son (11) and daughter (7) as well.
Austin, TX
1st Pregnancy - 10w4d
Miscarriage in December 2023
Due date: 2/15/25
How you found out: My husband and I had been trying and I tested positive 3 days before I missed my period
Tell us about yourself:
we have a dog named Barbie
I represent a fine wine/craft spirits portfolio in Central Texas
How are you feeling: Have not been nauseous once in 10w 4d; I’m exhausted; Moody; Sore Boobs! I am feeling nervous, cautiously optimistic- my doctor says this pregnancy is textbook so far, no issues (I had growth tracking/sac shape issues last pregnancy)
Going in for genetic/gender testing on Friday. Excited/Nervous for the big day!
I’m Em, 25 years old and due Feb 22 with my second baby, my first is one year old
My husband and I wanted to try for a second soon after our first so I was testing anytime my period came late — I’m pretty regular with 28 day cycles, so I tested on day 30 and the positive line was darker than the control line!
I’m planning on our second home birth as well! Gotta love not having to go anywhere. 🙌🏼
Due date: February 21, 2025
How you found out: Test following a few days of sickness
Tell us about yourself: I have a 12 year old daughter and 3 stepsons (9,6,5). This will be the first for my husband and I together.
How are you feeling: I am 38 this time around so I’m tired and anxious. Also very excited.
Trimester two is on the horizon
Due date: 2/11/25
How you found out: I tested at 15 DPO
I went on a hike in the heat of the day the day before I tested, and my hands got super swollen, which is not normal for me. That was my first clue ;)
Tell us about yourself: (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?)
I just got married in October of last year (first marriage), I have an 11yo son, and 2 bad kitties.
Being pregnant at 35 is way different than being pregnant at 23 😅
I’m newly married - coming up on our first full year in a couple weeks.
This will be my first, I'm a business consultant, I like playing video games, watching anime, kayaking, hiking, and swimming. I have a lovely husband, together for 4 years, married for 2 ❤️
Kinda late but wouldn't mind finding some preggo friends here 😊
