Hi zobomamma, we're so sorry to hear about the difficult time you’re going through - but you are definitely not alone!!
I hope you have a strong support network around you to help you, and strongly urge you to continue conversations with your doctor! If talking to someone online or on the phone would help you feel better we recommend these resources for everyone struggling with PPD:
Late to this post - I’ve been there and it is certainly draining!
Try to get a shower or bath in everyday! If you wear makeup, try getting ready for the day to help yourself feel a little more “normal”/human.
Get outside and get some sunlight. Some light exercise can help, too! Release some endorphins! A short walk with your tiny can help you get some extra vitamin d and release some endorphins. Plus it can always help in shedding some baby weight (if you still have any) which may lift your spirits.
Don’t be afraid to ask for help! Whether with the baby or house chores! And if you become overstimulated / overwhelmed, it’s totally okay to place baby in their crib / somewhere safe and step away for a quick minute to recollect yourself.
If you need more help, please tell your doctor as they have meds that may be able to help you regulate your hormones! Dont let it make you feel alone, weak, or defeated, it happens to so many of us!! I hope you’re doing better at this point! 💕
