After a really stressful day yesterday and an anxiety inducing meeting my midwife, I got to see a super quick peek and what appears to be a healthy pregnancy! It's been a wild 24 hours, but right this second I am greatful to have seen a tiny little baby moving around on the screen.
I also got to see my tiny baby! First time mom, what an emotional experience it was to see it move and the heart flickering on screen! I was a nervous wreck a week up to the ultrasound appt, I’m a worrier and was so afraid something would be wrong. But the baby looked great and right on time as predicted. Due date March 17th! I can breathe a little easier now and just need to focus on getting through the last few weeks of the this first trimester.
After a brief bleeding scare last week, baby is looking good and measuring a few days ahead at 11W. I’ve got my NT ultrasound next Friday and the blood test results to look forward to in the next couple of weeks. So excited to know whether we’ll be welcoming a little boy or girl in March. 🥰
Today we got to see our little one! We both had happy tears when we heard that strong heartbeat. ❤️ Baby also gave us a little feet and arm wiggle! It has officially hit us that our rainbow baby is on its way. 🌈
So excited I got to see my girl today at my appointment. They were having trouble finding a heartbeat with the Doppler so we did a quick scan. Everything looks great and heartbeat was amazing❤️
So amazing! They look like real little humans now! I'm a bit sad that the anatomy scan was the last routine ultrasound (where they forgot to confirm the gender, actually)...
@cmill828 that seems positive! So cool to see his face.
I'm getting referred for an US (hadn't anticipated any more) because my bump hasn't grown in the last two weeks and I haven't gained any weight in four (so worried her growth may have stalled). AND, my dr couldn't confirm if she was actually head down today. Excited to have another peek, but a bit worried now after all the appointments to date being unremarkable.
@cioccolata16 I’m sorry you are having growth concerns. Do you feel like she has dropped in the last two weeks? That can sometimes affect fundal height. I haven’t gained any weight since Thanksgiving (I just keep slowly losing since the GD diagnosis) and lil guy is still growing. I just say that to let you know it’s possible she’s growing along just fine in there. Hopefully you won’t have to wait long for your scan though 💜
@cioccolata16 to piggy back what @ceclarlinetlo said, I've lost a few pounds in the last month too, and baby has grown 2 lbs, so it's possible all is okay! I'm sending positive vibes that she's in there thriving and they'll have more reassurance for you soon!
36+2, tracking beautifully average, and head down. She even behaved so well that the tech showed us some 3D images of her face! It was good we did the US, though, because the amniotic fluid is above average. Had an NST (she behaved very well), and will just have more follow-up appointments at the antenatal clinic at the hospital
