Due date: I’m guessing early May, maybe late April but I’m going to roll with May 1 for now until my first appt.
How you found out: my H and I had decent timing (I get mittelschmerz when I ovulate) so I started testing early like a POAS addict but I didn’t get a faint + until ~11 or 12DPO. Im not due for my period for a few more days.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I am 31 almost 32. My H is 30. We have one son who is almost 3. 2 dogs 1 cat. We are moving at the end of the week to stay with my in laws for a bit. I work as a restaurant manager. Hobbies are getting iced coffee, going to target and Costco 😅, playing games, watching tv, and I want to get more into growing plants & an artistic hobby. I also am trying to eat healthier and get more in shape as much as I can.
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? I had a headache for 2 days (same thing happened with my son). I can smell better than I usually can, I opened the safe at work and the change smelled so strong! Emotionally I’m excited but nervous as we are going through a lot of changes right now. But we wanted to give our son a sibling sooner rather than later and things will work out! Physically I feel fine other than the cold i’m battling. I’m worried my food aversions are already starting though….I hope to get a few more weeks before the nausea kicks in. I have anxiety so I’m POAS every day until I’m satisfied with the lines. I take Zoloft and curious to see how that helps my general anxiety & PPA. Last pregnancy was great but TW I developed HBP at the very end and had a traumatic delivery so I’m crossing all the fingers that this time is a little less medically intense. END TW Im an open book and will try to participate as much as I can, excited to “meet” you all! 🤍
Due date: May 3, but I will likely ask for a scheduled induction at 39w.
How you found out: I've been testing the past few days, today is CD12 and there's a faint line on a cheapie.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) C, mom to M (6) and C (3), wife to H (haven't told him yet). 34 years old. 4th pregnancy--had a mc at 11 weeks last October (would have been a May '23 baby). Live in northern New England. Hobbies include reading, baking, running (was planning to run a half marathon in early October but probably will not be able to).
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? No physical symptoms. Emotionally mostly excited but bummed to be missing out on a few things coming up (like the half-marathon).
DD #1: April 2017 DD #2: May 2020 Baby #3: EDD May 2023; MC October 2022
How you found out: My fiancé and I both had dreams I was pregnant in the same night. I had a “feeling” the week of ovulation and bought a card to give him before I even tested.
Tell us about yourself: FTM so no other kids. We have a beautiful GSD and cuddly cats. I work full time (this exhaustion is already kicking my butt). I’m super active, climbing, mountain biking, snowboarding etc. pretty much anything outside. I have the most wonderful fiancé and we could not be more excited.
How are you feeling: nausea at night and lots of bloating throughout the day. Living off of ginger and lemon tea. Incredibly sleepy. Like so so sooo tired. Also incredibly excited.
How you found out: I had a vvvfp at 9 DPO on an amazon cheapie. Daily testing with good progression so far 🤞
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?)
I’m 37 and an NICU nurse.
I have 2 sons, 6 & 4 years old, and a puppy. My husband doesn’t know yet since he’s away and I want to tell him in person.
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)?
It feels weird my husband doesn’t know yet but it’s been nice being in a secret happy bubble. I’m not sure how he’s going to react as this baby wasn’t exactly planned but he does know his pull out game was not strong this month lol.
I don’t really have any symptoms yet but I did have a headache for 2 days right after I got my first positive result. Also, a little crampy but nothing major.
Figured out how to change my username but it won’t show up here (HollowayExpat in other posts). Yes I was very nauseous and my boobs were swelling plus napping every day after work. I’m also surprised I had symptoms so soon.
Due date: Not exactly sure yet, but I think early May (maybe 5/7/24?)
How you found out: Took a home test this morning! We were trying so not a big surprise.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?)
I’m a married SAHM with a 2 year old (girl) and a 1 year old (girl). Our family does a lot of traveling and fun activities, I'm a Starbucks junkie, I enjoy baking, and my guilty pleasure is reality TV :)
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)?
Cautiously optimistic (I don’t seem to have a spoiler option, so don’t want to put too many details here, but hoping for a sticky baby this time around). Was very active in bump groups for both of my other pregnancies, so very much looking forward to making new friends for baby #3! No symptoms yet.
How you found out: I decided to take a test yesterday morning and it was positive!
I am almost 37. My husband is a lineman and we were just married in January. I work as an optician for a local eye doctor. We have a border collie/Australian shepherd named Dawg. This is my 2nd pregnancy. We lost twins at 9 weeks back in April. I am trying to be excited but it’s very hard to be after loss.
How I found out: We had been TTC going on 4 months so I was testing early. The test looked negative so I threw it away. A couple minutes later as I was getting ready for work I decided to pull it out of the garbage and to my surprise there was a very faint positive! Tested the next few days and all positive!
About me: This will be baby #2. I have a 3 year old daughter, 2 dogs and 2 cats. Hubby and I were hoping to TTC last year but a wild knee injury ended me on the surgery table multiple times. Decided to wait until I felt strong again. I’m an active member of my gym, love playing soccer and I love to knit!! Full time job is in mortgage.
So far feeling good symptom wise just tired! Other than that VERY excited! I find it so hard to keep it quiet for the first little bit!
I’m in shock right now. I just took a test because of how late I am. So I just jumped in the shower with my hair tie still in. I washed and conditioned my hair and didn’t notice my hair tie until now,I’m currently sitting on the toilet dripping wet with a towel on. Omg omg omg. This will be #6 and now I’m wondering where my IUD is. Am I supposed to go to urgent care?
How you found out: Took a cheapie yesterday 8dpo and swore I could see a shadow. Just tested with an FRER and there is a definite line!
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): I have a 2 year old son (will be 3 in Nov), 17 year old twin bonus daughters, and am married. We have 6 dogs and 4 cats (yes we are crazy, lol). I work full time and am in school as well! Just applied for nursing school to start January so that'll be interesting lol. I'm a huge reader and love binge watching TV.
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? No symptoms yet! Emotionally very excited but also nervous of course. My first pregnancy I had an SCH that caused a lot of anxiety so I'm worried that will happen again. I've been trying for almost a year for a second (my first I got pregnant right away) so this feels surreal.
How you found out: currently on my honeymoon and had a feeling I should take a test. Sure enough it turned positive almost instantly!
Tell us about yourself: Just got married about a month ago to my partner of 10 years. I also recently turned 30 and have an adorable pup who I can’t wait to see with the baby.
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? Feeling pretty good! Im on week 2/5 on my honeymoon and write currently in Italy. We were planning to start trying on the trip, so finding out we are pregnant has been super exciting. I’ve been dealing with pretty bad motion sickness on travel days, but other than that all seems well 🤞🏻
@carissaemma I’m also 30, a FTM, my due date is May 6th and I’m engaged! I also have a super cute dog! Have so much fun on your honeymoon. We planned on traveling Europe for 1 month but now have to figure out how to honeymoon with a newborn.
I’m Lisa! Just took a positive test last night and I’m over the moon! I’ve been waiting for so, so long for this because hubby and I have been on quite different timelines. At times, it felt like I had forever to wait so I can’t believe I can finally say…. I’M PREGNANT!
I’ve always, always wanted to be a mum so I’m just so excited to be on this journey with you all.
My due date is May 13, making me 3 weeks and 5 days pregnant. I turn 35 next week.
Not many symptoms as yet apart from some light pinchy cramps and feeling hot all the time.
Hi everyone! I’m Mercedes. EDD of May 7 according to my ovulation date. My first May baby came at 38 weeks so we’ll see. 😅
I took a test at 8dpo since I had a dental appointment that morning and saw vvvvf lines. Shook them off because I thought they were indents. Took another two cheapies at 7pm and didn’t even need to squint to see the lines!
I’m just feeling very tired but also cranky and super hungry 😂
@Chickaboom88 That sounds amazing!! We did a day trip of the Amalfi coast and loved it. We’ve been here two weeks, we were in Rome, Sorrento, Sicilia, and now Taormina.
I’m Allie, EDD 5/15/24. This is our first, I’m 40, 41 in two months. I never test early (we’ve been working on this journey for a while) and I just felt different this month, and a little nauseous Friday (9DPO). Had the weirdest faintest line. Tested Saturday. More of the same, thought it was an indent. Tested Sunday (11DPO) and got these 😍! Naturally worried and hopeful… hoping my bean and me stay strong and healthy!
Hi!! I’m Cate. FTM at 36. Little one due approx May 12 - Happy Mother’s Day to me 😂. Symptoms started before my expected period. We got our first faint positive on a cheapie about 10 DPO. Feeling all the feels!! Scared, excited, grateful, nervous haha
Hi I’m Janelle! I’m due May 5th but keeping that date flexible in my mind knowing that it will probably change FTM here and my H and I found out a little over two weeks ago. This month, we both had this feeling like we were successful and I just had the gut feeling to test and got a positive. I was actually shocked and thought my intuition couldn’t have been spot on! We live on a homestead and raise beef cows, with 2 dogs, 2 cats and 2 horses. So we are bringing this little one into quite a full house already 😂 but can’t be more excited!
How you found out: We have been trying for a rainbow baby for 8 months, I took a test after the 2 week wait and it was negative... 10 days later I had a gut feeling and there was a faint positive!!
Tell us about yourself - My husband and I recently got married, we have 5 cats a dog and a horse, I work in veterinary medicine and he works at the local post office. We are currently buying a farm house that needs many renovations (hopefully done before peanut arrives!!) This will be our first baby!
How are you feeling - My boobs feel like they are a thousand pounds, and just about everything makes me either enraged or cry lol hopefully that craziness will pass!
Hi! Steph here. My due date is currently May 13, though I’m having trouble believing I’m actually pregnant.
TW I have had one loss and been through one failed IVF cycle since 2020. Long story, but I am recently with a new partner, and I didn’t think I’d get pregnant at all or very easily, so this is an unexpected and wonderful shock. END TW
I found out after missing my period and taking a pregnancy test, as I’m very regular. It was our first time as a couple TTC. Never in a million years thought it would happen the first go. My symptoms so far are some tiredness in the afternoon, sleep disruption, and very sore boobs and nipples. Very light cramping in the belly. Otherwise I feel great and am cautiously optimistic. Trying not to be super anxious.
Due date: May 18th, but I have a history of preterm labor. With my last baby, I was put on hospital bed rest around 28 weeks and she was still 6 weeks early. So I anticipate this little one will likely be born in early April or late March.
How you found out: Pregnancy test because I realized we had a slip up during ovulation
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I’ve got a 7 year old son, a 4 year old daughter, and one daughter who passed away as an infant who would be turning 6 this month. I like art and anything outdoorsy. I have a small business sewing handmade children’s clothing and bows, I’ve been doing that for 4 years and it’s a fun way to make a living. I also dabble in photography. My husband of 8 years passed away at the beginning of the year. As taboo as some may think it is, I had a great emotional support person come into my life after the loss. This little surprise baby is ours together and it’s his first child.
How are you feeling? (any symptoms, Emotionally)?
Bloating, sensitivity to smells, heightened libido, waves of nausea. I’m an emotional wreck. I’m not sure how I’m going to tell my late husbands family about the pregnancy. I’m still very much processing the loss of him, and was just starting to work past my guilt about being with a new partner. This baby was unexpected, but I keep reminding myself that sometimes the best things in life are unexpected. I’m also a ball of anxiety due to my infant loss, traumatic pregnancy with my last child, and history of 1 early miscarriage. Thank goodness I have a good therapist.
October 2017 May siggy challenge - Parenting fails
Due date: May 11 according to an app on my phone, looking forward to getting an actual date from a doctor
How you found out: I was a few days late and took a home test, the line was faint but there!
Tell us about yourself: No older kids - this is our first! I have a partner (28M) and we have one adorable middle aged cat.
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally): I feel mostly fine physically? Some minor cramping, but otherwise, I don’t even feel pregnant. Emotionally, I am a roller coaster - very excited but also WOW terrified.
I’m a 31 year old cis woman with a 7 year old son from a previous relationship, now due May 10/11. My 7 year old was due May 8th and was born May 16th, so that’s kind of special!
I finished my masters FNP program, accepted a job offer, then found out we were pregnant all in the same week😅 my husband (31 year old cis male) can’t have children, so we’ve been working with a donor, utilizing artificial insemination for months with no luck up until now. I got a super faint positive at 10dpo and have been taking tests every day to make sure it’s getting darker😂
no symptoms yet! Not really even fatigued. Glad to be here!
Due: May 10th Found Out: My period was a couple of days late so I decided to take a test. It was positive! 😁 About me: I’m 35 and am from California. I have two older children, ages 8&9. Feeling?: I’m currently feeling nauseous and a bit scared. I am overly happy but want to be healthy and make it to the 2nd tri. Nervous about being much older than when I was during my last pregnancies.
How you found out: we were trying to conceive. My period wasn't late yet, but I noticed that I had been extra stinky haha. Took a test, and it was positive.
Tell us about yourself: I am 34 and live in NYC. My husband and I have a 3.5 year old daughter.
How are you feeling: Typical early pregnancy stuff. A little nauseous, some fatigue, very sore boobs.
Trying since April and suffered a loss in July so I wasn’t testing anymore. Then I missed my period this month then took a test last week, I’m shocked! Praying for a viable pregnancy!
Hey all, I haven't been on this site in some years. My first is 5.
Due date: Around May 15th 2024 I think
How you found out: My husband I were not trying but things happened one night and we had a slip up. Yikes. Missed my period, noticed I felt nauseous a couple days and then two nights ago I felt stretching/pulling in my lower abdomen and yesterday morning I was so tired I slept through my alarm and almost fell asleep at work. I decided to test and got an immediate positive. I tested this morning and got another immediate positive.
Tell us about yourself: Married for 6 years and we have a five year old. Hubby is 40 and I am 38. We didn't plan to have another at our ages but will love this one all the same.
How are you feeling?: Physically I feel good, just very tired the last couple days but not much nausea, I didn't have morning sickness with my first so don't expect it with this one. I do have some breast fullness and I look a little bloated but I have also been eating a lot since yesterday which is unlike me and another reason why I tested as I started craving certain foods this week.
Emotionally, I'm in shock. Very nervous to be completely honest.. hoping all will be well but mostly shock, didn't expect another, trying to let this news sink in.
Hi all I’m Lindsey, I'm 33 & live right outside of Portland, Oregon.
Due date: May 17th!
How you found out: I took a pregnancy test a few days before my missed period because of my emotions feeling pretty heightened and sure enough it was positive!
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job?): I have one other little one, he just turned one in August. I had a really great pregnancy/labor/delivery with him and would love for this next time to be similar but so far the nausea has been far worse this time around! I have two pups, an Aussie and westie and I work as a registered nurse with pregnant women into postpartum.
Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?: I’ve been married to my husband for 10 years and we love to home, camp, backpack & run!
How are you feeling? (any symptoms, Emotionally):
I’m experiencing really bad nausea, sensitive to a lot of smells and some bloating.

Tell us about yourself: I am 34 and live in NYC. My husband and I have a 3.5 year old daughter.
How are you feeling: Typical early pregnancy stuff. A little nauseous, some fatigue, very sore boobs.
Due May 15th
Trying since April and suffered a loss in July so I wasn’t testing anymore. Then I missed my period this month then took a test last week, I’m shocked! Praying for a viable pregnancy!
We’re 29 and this will be our second baby.
