First symptom was sore boobs, but that is gone now. On and off nausea - like being hungover or carsick, and sometimes feeling really tired/heavy/a little dizzy. Plus I am peeing all.the.time.

Feeling super fatigued. Tired and dizzy! Nauseas and some light cramping here and there. Still very early, haven’t missed AF yet, found out BFP today at 3 wks!
First for me were sore legs and exhaustion, then severe bloating, tight / heaviness + cramps in lower abdomen, then added on sore chest and heavy cravings. Almost at week 5 now and each week seems to add a new symptom.
Keep fluctuating between super productive and too exhausted to do anything, too. Today was a good day after 4 days straight of utter fatigue, and got lots of good time in the garden!
My symptoms have been more mild this time around- Im still breastfeeding DD multiple times a day and all night so maybe that is contributing to decreased symptoms?
What i’ve noticed is that I’m peeing all the time but also so thirsty I can’t drink enough water. Fatigue, some dull pelvic pains that have most resolved, and SO short of breath.
@hedgepig I've been trying my best bot to worry over every little thing, especially when so many symptoms (or lack of) can mean so many different things?? Especially with the hypersensitivity, I worry if what feels like a normal pain to me is actually something really bad.
I just keep telling myself if there's no blood, I'm doing just fine. So far, so good!
Question for all the experienced mommas out there: Is waking up in the middle of the night EVERY night to pee a temporary thing? Or is this just my life now?
@mynameisoverused I'm sorry to say that you should not expect to sleep through the night until your children are toddlers (at least) for me the waking up to pee doesn't usually start until the 2nd or 3rd trimester, so maybe try cutting off water like an hour or two before bed? but once it starts it doesn't stop until the baby is out, and then you have to wake up for MOTN feedings...
@mynameisoverused I don't remember the middle of the night peeing starting so early with my other kids, but it has definitely started already for me this time around!

Anyone else having round ligament pain this early?
Also, first food aversion hit this morning.... the dinner I made last night and loved now sounds revolting. Even the thought of the smell of it makes me want to retch.

Yes! I swear the middle of the night potty trips are just prepping you for the middle of the night feeding times. 😂 Mine have already started as well. Could be coincidence, could be because i can’t get enough drinks / water. Nausea is coming and going in waves. Cramping, and just feeling super full, but also starving. As for aversions, I’m a big soda drinker (I’ll drink one a day, regularly, not really a coffee drinker) and i can’t really finish any this time. I’ll take a few sips and be done. I’m all about water. And ginger beer, Which is great for the nausea, too.
Just had a switch flip with the whole food thing this morning. Went from constantly starving to not being interested in any food. And apparently I hate kiwi now? I normally love them in cereal, but now they taste like some kind of bitter metal.
And I completely agree about ginger beer @k_sims! It's been my favorite go-to for nausea for years
@mrosek91 Thanks for the tip! I stopped drinking fluids an hour before bed, and managed to sleep the whole night!! I might be able to get a little more sleep yet
@mynameisoverused frequent peeing has been my earliest sign of pregnancy with all 3! I read in the beginning it’s due to increased pelvic profusion. Your body is sending all kinds of extra blood to your pelvis to help grow baby which also hyper-profuses your kidneys making them super effective causing you to pee a ton! Near the end it’s because your poor bladder is so squished. Either way, sleep is interrupted!
These cravings, I really don't know what to do with them, anytime anyone mentions a food suddenly I need it. (I have a history of longer cycle length when I first come off BC, so I was on cycle day 30, and trying to decide if I should test, it give it another few days, and I mentioned a craving to MH, and he said, yes, definitely test ) But I'm also having aversions to some sweet things, like I was trying to decide if I should have a regular cup of coffee, or mix in some hot cocoa and all of a sudden the thought of hot cocoa was revolting. I wonder if that means I'm having a girl. I know the myth is that craving sweets = girl, and craving salty = boys, but for me it was the opposite, I always have a huge sweet tooth, and the only time it was remotely suppressed was when I was pregnant with DD.
@mrosek91 i love playing the superstitions game to try and guess sex! All coffee in general sounds terrible to me lately and has been that way with all 3 pregnancies.
Ugh this nausea has been SO WEIRD. Worst in the afternoons/evenings and gets worse after I eat. Not at all used to a pattern like this. Like if i feel nauseated do i not eat? This trial and error sucks.
on the flip side- grateful to be feel some symptoms ❤️
@night_nurse I am also grateful for symptoms, but the all day, inconsistent nausea is really wearing. Do I eat? Or not? Does it help? Sometimes, but other times makes it worse. Sigh 😕

Haven't felt many symptoms the last few days except for bloating and some breast pain of the cats climb all over me. But this morning, woke up feeling like my lower abdomen is a slowly over-filling water balloon, just slowly stretching and tugging discomfort.
I'm guessing that's my body adjusting and rapidly growing for baby?
I am constantly thirsty, incredibly sleepy, dealing with heartburn, and today was able to smell my husband’s dried seaweed with waaaaaaay too much intensity. This is my first time around so the discomfort is kind of a pain but also kinda fascinating.
Tryyyyying to not freak out. Was super nauseated all day yesterday, threw up in the morning. Today: nothing. Maybe a tiny bit? Maybe i feel better because I ate half a banana as soon as I woke up? but I even feel like I want to drink coffee and haven't felt that way in over a week.
******TW: mention of loss******
With my mc in 2021 I never had any symptoms and felt like things were off from the beginning. Praying that less nausea today doesn’t mean anything bad. First appt isn’t until the 24th
@night_nurse I totally get that anxiety. Any day I’m less tired I worry it’s going to be another loss. Hopefully you were less nauseous because you had a banana as soon as you woke up. A friend of mine had terrible morning sickness but said eating before she got up for the day always helped.
Would your doc send you for labs ahead of time if you called to ease your nerves?
@kmw611 i was able to get a PA at work today to order a stat hcg. Im going to post in the threatened miscarriage thread about everything that’s been going on.
I feel hungry all the time but I can only eat a few bites of something when I eat... this morning, my morning sickness felt like I was hungover. I'm having a hard time sleeping, don't know if it's insomnia due to my hormones or if I'm just so excited and nervous I can't sleep!
I'm a FTM, so this is all so foreign and weird. At the end of the day, I'm so thankful to be feeling symptoms after 1 year TTC!
I feel like someone needs to make a song out of these symptoms. Does anyone know/remember the song “The Race is On” by George Jones/Sawyer Brown? The chorus goes something like “the race is on and here comes pride in the backstretch, heartache going to the inside.” If you know it, hopefully it’s stuck in your head now, lol. Here’s my pregnancy symptom version:
The test said yes and here comes cramps on your front side, Heartburn rolling up your insides. My tummy’s holding back Trying not to hurl! Food is out of the running Nothing sounds any good at all The race to pee and drink more water And I can’t get any sleep at alllll!
Cried at how beautiful the beach was. Cried when looking at pregnancy + fitness classes. Cried at how excited the hubs looks every time he looks at me. Cried at how crisp the morning air felt in my lungs on my walk. Cried at how good my olive loaf with cream cheese tasted.
The gas bubbles that feel like baby kicks are here and driving me crazy!
With my first I had really severe food aversions (boy), and with my second I had nausea but no real aversions (girl), and now I have both, and we're like 🤷🏻♀️🤣

Y’all, I am just so. Darn. Tired. Am sitting at my desk at work, brain moving all sluggish, and I do not know how I am going to get anything done over the next 9 months. Really hoping this will pass, because I feel like everything is slipping through the cracks right now. 😩
@jamzsquared I feel that on so many levels! I left the house 3 times over the weekend in my slippers because I forgot to put on shoes… I was literally half way to the grocery store before I realized.
Ok, so I’m not crazy being this thirsty, because this didn’t happen last time and I didn’t know what to think. I’m hungry but don’t want to eat because it irritates the mouth ulcer I developed from a tooth extraction I should’ve kept putting off. The gas and breast tenderness have eased up but I’m going to need new bras soon. They’re barely contained and I’m only 4 weeks in. And the fatigue… And I can’t even use it to beg for midday naps cause I told DH we’d keep it under wraps till after trimester 1.
So tired!! Nauseous with occasional throwing up. It’s exhausting. Trial and error is exhausting as well. Very little sounds appetizing. And my forearms are sore? Is that normal? Haha these symptoms are bizarre. First timer here.
