Hi friends!

How long were you active on TTGP and when (minimum of 3 months)? June 2019-December 2022

How far along are you? 32 weeks

Which birth month board/due date? 8/30 (looking at inducing around 8/23)August BMB though we’ve migrated to fb now

Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? Pregnancy is going great! It looks like we’re going to induce at 39 weeks due to my being on lovenox and wanting an epidural. Baby is super active and honestly, I can’t get enough of feeling him move 💙. I’m in full nesting mode trying to get everything ready for this baby boy but am delayed by DH refinishing the floor in the nursery (though in his defense, it did need it. We got lucky with the state of the hardwood when we ripped up the carpet in DD’s room and less so when we ripped it up in the nursery). It both feels like this pregnancy has flown by and taken forever but I can’t believe I’m only 7 weeks from meeting him!

Still lurking often and excited to see some familiar names coming back to TFAS! Rooting for all of you to graduate soon!

*How are you doing picking out a name? Feel free to share it. Keeping it a secret until she arrives, but we've had it picked for quite a while. Initials NEM

*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? Felt movement for the first time this week, so everything is starting to actually feel real. It's also super comforting because even though the chances of anything happening at this point are super low, I still just have so much anxiety, so feeling her move calms me down.

Still lurk occasionally and so sorry to hear about the Feb. 2024 loss (I don't want to tag her if she doesn't want to see this board). As always, wishing you all the best and hoping to see everyone on the grad side soon.

*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? We close on Monday! We should be able to walk through the house tomorrow. Well my husband should be able to. I'll be downtown for my 6w appointment. I have my anatomy scan at the end of the month. We are waiting to do our big announcement until then but the bump certainly has popped anyway 🙈 but I'm feeling so many movements from baby boy. It's been so comforting to get that reassurance.

I still lurk occasionally cuz I miss chatting with you all 🥰

How far along are you? 1w1d postpartum

Which birth month board/due date? Due date was July 7, but our son was born in June 26 🩵

Team Pink/Blue/Green? Blue

How are you doing picking out a name? Feel free to share it. We’d finally chosen a name about a week before he was born and I love it so much and it fits him perfectly.

Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? Well I didn’t get the VBAC I hoped for, but that’s okay. This c-section was much less traumatic than the last one. It was calmer, I refused the meds that would make me loopy (anti-anxiety meds is what they gave me last time) so I was clearheaded through the whole thing which made it extra special, though a tad nerve-wracking, of course. I got to see him right as he was born and touch his little feet through the clear screen. They brought him over to me and let me kiss his cheeks and touch him while they were finishing the surgery. And I got to breastfeed immediately once they moved me to recovery. It was very special. He’s an amazing little baby, and MH and I are exhausted but over the moon. 🩵

Thankful for the support of this community, and always rooting for each of you.

How are you doing picking out a name? good on a boy name, nothing on a girl name. had a dream the other night baby was a boy. so that would make life easy in the naming dept.

Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? we are midst of a huge reno project - i'm talking rebuilding two exterior walls. lol. we gutted and knocked down a wall to redo our kitchen when i was pregnant in 2019 so all of our friends like to pick on us about the definition of nesting. i probably need to start prepping in some capacity for this baby seeing as we're about to hit single digits to my due date. yikes!!

It’s crazy to think how quickly things are going! I am starting to buy and prepare now for a new baby but so many things to do and plan.

We have another scan in 3 weeks to check again on the baby’s kidneys since they were larger than they should have been at my anatomy scan. So we will see how that pans out. And soon I’ll be transferred from my midwives to hospital care (happens here around 36 weeks).

Also on Mat leave in 7 weeks so that’s exciting!

Glad things have been going well.
@annanbby congrats!! I'm sorry you didn't get your VBAC, but I'm so glad your RCS was less traumatic this time.
@anniemarie887 have been thinking about you and that reno. Eep!

*How long were you active on TTGP and when (minimum of 3 months)? 2018-2023, basically a long-ass time.

*How far along are you? 22+2 - we've surpassed the viability benchmark of 22w at my hospital (level 3 NICU, highest in the city) so I'm feeling a bit of relief there.

*Which birth month board/due date? Nov 23 / Nov 11th but I'm not active on the BMB

*Team Pink/Blue/Green? PINK!

*How are you doing picking out a name? Feel free to share it. Hah. We know what we don't like, but beyond that we're stumped. We definitely want to use DH's grandma's name in some shape or form though; she was super disappointed when his brother and SIL dropped it at the last minute for their son, especially since they asked her to help choose a name for him then SIL just... didn't use it. SMH.

*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? Had our anatomy scans a few weeks ago. Baby girl does not like to stay still so we got to go back a second time for the rest of the measurements. Don't have results yet (appt is Wed) but they said they'd call if there was anything concerning. I think no news is good news in this case.

We have not even started on the nursery or anything in that dept, but I made a point to take DH through Toys'R'Us yesterday which resulted in me just standing in the stroller aisle sobbing into his shoulder. Never thought we'd get to this point, and I specifically avoided the baby section everywhere I went for the last 5 years so it hit me harder than I thought it would. No decisions were made but it's a start.
