5 weeks and I am also dealing with going from being super cold to hot. I thought I had a fever or something but nope!
For my first pregnancy, weeks 6 and 7 were particularly awful for morning sickness. I am bracing myself for the nausea ...but also hoping that maybe this time it's different 😄
I keep getting a terrible taste in my mouth. The only thing that seems to help is very strong savoury flavours (like garlic). Mint makes it so much worse and sweet stuff helps for a bit, but then it comes back.
This morning, I had a dentist appointment and the combination of latex glove and metal instruments left the worst flavour. I felt like I was going to throw up the entire time.
@charmedlifex3 I drink so. much. water. It's never ending. But hey, maybe still not enough because I am also almost always thirsty. It does make sense why the dentist was so bad though, having my mouth open for that long definitely meant it was dry in there.
So so sick. My doctor already raised the possibility of a PiCC line. Ugh. We are going to wait until week 12 to commit one way or the other, hopefully the sick subsides after the first trimester. I’m on four medications and still puking a few times a day 🙄
Anyone else experience their face been oilier than normal when pregnant? This is consistent with all of my pregnancies and I hate it because not only do I break out more, but it causes me to feel nauseous and just plain yucky and gross 🤢
@kgreaves93 Mine is getting bad. So far, I'm just breaking out around my hairline and under my eyebrow (???) so it's been easy to hide. But I think it's going to get worse.
Had a scary moment today- I haven’t kept anything down and I went to carry in a heavy box and briefly passed out. I was awake pretty much as soon as I hit the ground, but I’m home alone with my two kids. 😳 I need to be better about making the effort to keep SOMETHING down. I did eat a cookie after that and feel much better so I’m pretty sure that’s all it was.
