We have a fabulous little blob! Measuring ahead at 7w1-3d, HB 122 (LMP is 6w4d)
RE moved my due date to 9/13, but I went a week late with my daughter so tbh I’m taking that with a grain of salt.
A definite sigh of relief today about measuring ahead after a really traumatic MMC Jan 2022. She’s having me come back in two weeks for my nerves, and then I’m handled off to my normal OBGYN 2/17!!! I am hoping once I make it to 12 weeks my nerves will calm.
5+5 Planned to just do thyroid bloodwork today, but the doctor decided to do an ultrasound since we were already there. It's still a speck with no heart right now and the doctor said it's a bit smaller than average. We'll go back in 10 days to check again and hopefully get some better pictures!
i had my ultrasound scheduled this morning. i got there to check in, and the secretary tells me that they have no ultrasound tech today and i need to reschedule. wtf are you kidding? i was looking forward to some reassurance today, not wasting 90 minutes of my life driving around. i wonder if i should change clinics. i like the providers but everything else is such a pain.
Adding a screenshot of the heartbeat video cause I don’t feel like getting up to take a pic of the pic. Lol. Heard a strong heartbeat today of 165. Last period puts me at 8w2d. Baby is measuring at 8w. ♥️
Just a blob but that’s my little blob 😍 I didn’t realize how much I needed that reassurance that it was in fact true and alive until the relief I felt leaving. We got a strong heartbeat, and I think the reality is finally sinking in…starting to feel a really strong emotional attachment finally 🥰 I think it’s so cool some of you had those super clear pictures 🤩
Had my ultrasound at 6 weeks and 3 days , thier was a yolk sac and fetal pole but no heart beat...:-(...ill have another ultrasoung next week..im so worried
@sampaguita86 I’m so sorry you’re going through this! Are you calculating your gestation based on your last missed period, or did you do IVF? If you did IVF, then they pretty much know how far along you are based on the transfer date, but if you’re calculating based on LMP, you might have ovulated later than you think, so you may not be that far along. My fertility clinic won’t do a first ultrasound until at least 6w4d, because that is the day they typically begin to be able to hear the heartbeat. But often I’ve seen posts on here where a tech could pick up a picture of a flickering heart on the screen, earlier than it is able to be heard.
Good morning everyone! I had my first ultrasound yesterday at my RE (reproductive endocrinologist)/ fertility clinic at 6w5d, and all went perfectly! My baby girl is measuring on track at 9.37mm long (7w0d), and her heart rate is 123bpm, which I’m told is good!
My mom and I got to hear the heartbeat, and it was absolutely surreal as I had not been expecting a good apportionment.
The pictures at my RE’s office are never great quality, but I’m just so thankful to have any picture at all! The dotted line is measuring the actual baby, and the circle at the top is the yolk sack, not the head. 😊 My next ultrasound will be at 9 weeks, on Feb 22nd!
6w3d ultrasound ♥️ A little earlier than we thought but baby is looking good with a heart rate of 119! Next ultrasound at 8w4d. Can’t wait to see our nugget again. Due date 9/29/23.
I wasn't schedule for an us but my appointment's location was moved, so we got lucky! We got to see the baby's little stubby arms and legs and hear the heartbeat before he moved. So here's the picture of my little blob where we can't see anything anymore haha! He measured 8w2d.
9 week ultrasound yesterday. Measured 8w4d with HB of 185. Everything looked great except for 4 decent sized fibroids (around 5 cm diameter) which I had no idea what they are or that I had any before the appointment. Ugh!
After some research, seems they are common and not a horrible problem. Still not ideal. Will have another ultrasound in 5 weeks and am really hoping they haven’t grown substantially.
Did my second US at 7+1. I was very excited to get a HR and measurment but turns out the equipment at this hospital is extremely outdated. They said it would be hard to even get a HR and measurement at 13 weeks (next US). This doesn't make sense to me because they were able to see follicles that were smaller than what the embryo should be by now. I even cried at the hospital because I was so upset. But, a heartbeat was detected (don't know if it was strong or weak, though) along with the fetal pole and yolk sac. I won't post the pic because it's literally an empty-looking gestational sac.
@asphaltgirl Dr found a fibroid as well and it took me by surprise. I too had to google it lol it’s outside the uterus so that made me feel better. Definitely hoping it doesn’t grow.
10w+2 the tech told the baby to stop moving around so much so we could get a pic and hear the heartbeat. We got to see the little arms move. Way better images than our first child, always just looked like a blob.
My blurry little blob. So much relief. Measuring exactly where it needed to be measuring and we heard the heartbeat for the first time. Perfect and strong. I feel so much relief. 😭❤️
Had another US at 11 weeks 2 days, and got more great pics 🥰 measuring great and strong heartbeat. They were also so active and bouncing around! Got another wave too! Just so so thankful. My current OB doesn’t deliver babies anymore, so this was our last visit with her, and we’ll go to our new OB in 1 month. Bittersweet, but just found out my current OB goes to our church, so I’ll still get to see her there 🤗
I did a random private ultrasound. They didn’t measure the baby but do you think this baby is 11 weeks 4-6 days or 12 weeks. I want to make sure the baby is growing right. I should be 11 weeks and 5 days when I did this ultrasound
