  • Introduce yourself: I’m Kaitlin

Due date? July 7th is what I’m assuming (like everyone else 😂)

How did you find out? I had VERY light (what I’m assuming) implantation bleeding and then got lunch with an old friend who told me she was pregnant. I cried to a (different) friend about how jealous I was of all my pregnant friends and how much I wanted to be pregnant with them. I told her how I was starting my period so I was just extra emotional (I feel so dumb looking back ). The bleeding never continued so I tested the next morning and it was positive!

Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): I have been married to my husband for almost 5 years. We have a 5 year old golden retriever and our daughter is turning 3 this month! Our daughter is our world and I can’t wait to see her as a big sister.

How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)? No symptoms really which makes me slightly nervous but I know it’s still early. *TW* we had a miscarriage before our daughter so I feel like it was hard for me to connect with my pregnancy last time so I’m just trying to enjoy this pregnancy *end TW*
  • Hiiii!!

This will be our second baby (third pregnancy, MMC in March 2020, DD January 2021).  We've been trying for about six months and were starting to loose hope, but here I am.  I'm turning 30 this month, MH is 31.

Due date: based on LMP is July 8, but I have a dating US that I'm scheduling for the week of Nov 21.  Based on risk factors I induced early with DD, so I could end up as early as end of June.

Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): We've been married for 5 years, together for almost 10.  We met in university. I have a knitting side hustle, and I do many other crafts to varying degrees, recently I've been making quilts for all my friends as their wedding gifts..

How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)?  Not many symptoms yet, a little nauseous if I don't eat quickly enough after waking up, and some foods taste funny.

    ___

@kwl117 I feel the same, didn't really connect with my last pregnancy after a loss, so really trying to be in the moment with his one.
  • Introduce yourself: Hi!! My name is Reagan.

    Due date? July 7

How did you find out? My period was late and I woke up yesterday feeling sick and lightheaded every time I stood up. Decided to take a test and I was super shocked when it came up positive.

Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): My husband and I have been together for 4 1/2 years, married almost 3. We have an amazing son that was born September 2021. We also have a cat named Florence. I’m a compliance specialist and I get to work from home (Thank God). I love traveling, cooking, reading, and writing. I’m super excited to see our son as a big brother!

How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)? I’ve been nauseous off and on and cramping a little bit, but that’s really it. I’m super anxious to be pregnant right now. **TW** I had a miscarriage in November 2020 and that sweet baby would have been due in July 2021. So I’m kind of on the same track and super scared something is going to go wrong again. **END TW** We’re super happy that our family is growing!
  • Introduce yourself: Hey, I’m Cyrena (pronounced Serena)!

    Due date? July 7, 2023

How did you find out? My husband and I started trying in August this month I took a pregnancy test the day before and the day of my period (both negative). A couple days past and still no period… took another test and a faint line appeared!! Took two more tests the following day and they were all positive!

Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): I’m actually a labour and delivery nurse so I’m around pregnant women and babies all the time!! I absolutely love my job and get such a neat perspective on the whole thing! I’m from Vancouver, Canada, married to my husband for three years (together for 9), and we have a 6 year old border collie/blue heeler dog named Haisley. This will be my first pregnancy and I can’t wait to meet little on next year, fingers crossed everything goes well 🤞🏻

How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)? Feeling excited, but open-minded that it’s still early… trying to stay positive! Symtoms include mild cramps and back ache intermittently through the day and night… tender breast and constipation 🙃
  • @hp242, I will have a c/s so will likely aim for June 30 for the birthdate! So also end of June for us.

    *Live, Love, Laugh, Learn*

  • Ashley
    Due date : July 2

How did you find out : I was at my parents house visiting and was expecting my period and had no PMS symptoms so I decided to test. Faint positive and then next couple days stronger lines and positive digital !

Tell us about yourself : I am a work from home mama of 2 little boys who are 4 and 5. This will be out last one. Would love a little girl to add to this crazy boy filled house but of course will be obsessed with either. We have a little mini poodle.

How are you feeling : past couple of days I have nausea if I don’t eat smaller portions. Tired and little sore boobs. Also feel super emotional.
  • Due date? July 9! (I think, I have no clue when I ovulated, I’m having blood work done today to confirm dates ☺️)

    How did you find out?
MH and I were a little less careful this month and I was feeling off, so I took a test. Last Wednesday there was the faintest line and I was in complete denial and shock 😂 I took a bunch of tests through the weekend and it just kept getting darker and darker! My cycle is on the shorter side so I’m not really sure when I ovulated or when I should have missed my period (sometime between Oct 28-31)

Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?):
This is my first pregnancy. MH and I have been together for 11 years and married for 3. I’m 30 and he is 31. We have 1 sweet rescue mutt that is going to be the best big sister. I am currently in grad school to become a clinical mental health therapist. I’m in my final year and in my clinical internship - why not add a pregnancy to the mix 🙈

How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)?
This is my first pregnancy and I am terrified (and so excited). I know it’s still so early and so much can happen. I’m already feeling so connected and attached, I just hope this little poppyseed sticks.
I have VERY sore breasts, bloating, super tired, some slight nausea. I can smell everything and I’m definitely having some strong food aversions (or I’m insanely hungry).
  • Hi mamas, my name is Kerry! I am a vegan mummy and going to raised my vegan baby, I have been vegan for 3 years now.

Due date? July 1st based on my ovulation date and LMP.

    How did you find out?
I never miss my period and me and MH has been trying since we got married in late August this year, so I test the first day I am supposed to have period and saw the fainted pink line.

Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?):
This is my first pregnancy. Me and MH are newly weds. We haven’t gone to our honeymoon yet. We want to do it in the winter where it’s super cold here in Saskatchewan Canada. I work from home, I like reading, cooking, exercising, Pilates and aerial yoga are my favorite.

How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)? Excited to be a mama, also nervous, the uncertainty sometimes affect my sleep. Not much symptoms. Very mild cramping sometimes, sore breasts for the first 2-3 weeks, but not bad at all, I have way more soreness for some of my periods in the past. No nausea (lucky genes from my mama), tired sometimes, just make sure get enough sleep. I tried to eat small meals every 3 hours. Did not work for me, made me super bloated and just not happy. I am just having regular 3 meals and a snack, plus ritual prenatal vitamins. I haven’t gone to the Dr yet.Have no family Dr ever, rarely got sick. I joined the waitlist to get a midwife. I am 100% sure I want a midwife rather than OB-GYN before I was pregnant. Also on board with water birth. I am thankful for my healthy body and I will try my best to pass that to my baby. Would love to know some vegan mummy from this community! 💚

Introduce yourself: Hi all, Frankie here.

Due date? 7-15-23 (per online IVF calculator)

How did you find out? My wife and I did reciprocal IVF and I took an at home pregnancy test. Beta is Saturday.

Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): we have two boys from the same egg retrieval. Too many pets to mention, and I work from home as a physician recruiter.

How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)? Just short waves of nausea all day.
  • Hi, I’m Genevieve!

    My due date is 7/8/2023

How did I find out? I decided to take a test based off of my TTC tracker app ( def did not think we were pregnant because we were so new to learning how to test for ovulation) and noticed that there was a very faint second line! I was in disbelief so over the course of the weekend, I took MANY more tests which were absolutely positive!

My husband and I just got married this past august and always knew we wanted to start trying to build a family early on. We have been together for 9 years this month. We have one other furbaby, a 5 year old pug. I also work full time in Healthcare and am going back to school for my bachelors degree. I l or to stay active and my husband I are big hikers and travelers.

The symptoms are definitely strange and I was not expecting to feel them so soon in pregnancy. So far I have had good days and off days. I’ve experienced acne all along my jawline, def very bloated, boobs huge and had some nausea but other than that, excited!!
  • Went to the dr yesterday for blood work and my HCG levels are over 500 which my dr said is exactly where they should be at 4 weeks, 3 days. My official (tentative) due date is July 10 🥰
  • Hi everyone! My name's Elaine.

    Due date: July 8, 2023.

Found out this past Sunday when I missed my period. I've always been regular so missing a period was a big tell-tale sign for me. Took 2 at home tests and confirmed again at the doctors office yesterday!

This is my first pregnancy, my husband and I have been together for 10 years and we just got married at the beginning of October. We have a rescue dog from Taiwan who we love to bits and will always be my first baby. We're excited to see how she'll be with her human sibling come July. I work full-time in real estate and honestly with the current market being so slow, it's not a bad time for me to be pregnant :p My husband is in law enforcement, so we're in for some big changes once baby is here.

I'm an anxious person so with all the new things that I'm experiencing it's been a little overwhelming for the past week. I'm excited because we've always talked about having children but there was a little part of me that maybe wasn't ready? (How do you actually know if you're ready? I feel like I've asked many moms this and they all just tell me you'll know when you know) Other than the emotional bits of this, I've been feeling queasy and a little nauseous throughout the day. I go from being not hungry to starving really quickly.

So far I'm grateful to come across this community for some guidance especially since we're a little early to start telling our friends and family! <3

    Hi - I’m cat.

    Due date is 7/13

I felt no symptoms, but my husband and I were about to make cocktails (12 dpo) and I decided to take a test just in case, assuming that I wasn’t pregnant. I was wrong!

This is my first pregnancy, we actually just started trying last month and I wasn’t expecting to get pregnant this quickly. I’m an anxious person and very worried that something will go wrong.
  • Hi I’m Carson!

Due date? 7/13ish. My first OB appointment is soon so I anticipate that might shift somewhat.

How did you find out? I just felt different. I’m not sure how to explain it exactly. I didn’t really have symptoms and it was the day my period was supposed to start, so that wasn’t even a red flag yet. I decided to take a test thinking it would be negative, but that test (and the five more that followed it) were instantly, boldly positive.

Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): This is my first pregnancy. My husband and I got married in July. We have a super cool pitbull named Astrid who we spoil like a human child. I work at an insurance start up and love my job. My husband and I have been, up until now I suppose, very into breweries and beer related activities (he’s a professional brewer). I’m a vegan and a runner and plan to continue both to the best of my ability through this process.

How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)? I am still not quite believing it’s real. I know my first appointment will help with that a lot. I basically feel a wide crazy range of emotions about this from excitement to anxiety to disbelief. I don’t have a lot of physical symptoms though, other than just being really tired. I’ve always been a queasy kinda lady though, so I just know that morning sickness is coming for me.
  • Hi I’m Kelly,

    Due date: July 8th

How did you find out: I was actually sick with COVID when I found out.  My period was a day late, so I tested thinking it was going to be negative. I ran out to my husband and we were both in shock. Two positives in one week for me.

Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?):
This will be my first baby. We weren’t necessarily trying, but we also weren’t trying.  My husband and I have been married for 3 years. We always talked about having kids one day, but never thought we were ready. I’m a veterinarian and we have a butt load of animals. I haven’t told my work yet, but I will need to soon to avoid workplace hazards (X-rays, anesthetic gas etc.). I’m really nervous about telling my work before I tell family.

How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)?
I’m feeling fine so far. I had some mild cramping last week and sore breasts. I’ve also really started to crave salty things like pickles and ramen. Not sure if that’s a pregnancy craving or if I just really like pickles and ramen. Overall, I’m very nervous and overwhelmed since this is my first pregnancy. I don’t have an appointment until the  first week of December (~9 weeks).

  • Due date?
    7/6ish. I’m about 5 weeks along.

    How did you find out?
I was a few days late with my period, but had felt a burst of energy and no normal signs of my period, which just isn’t normal for me. I took a test last weekend, but I don’t think I peed enough on it out of excitement, so thought maybe it was just late. Something told me try again the next day and sure enough, we were pregnant.

Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): My husband and I run a pizza restaurant in the mountains of NC, and have 3 cats and 3 dogs. We love to try new restaurants and travel. We’ve been married for two years this past October, and have worked together for the last almost 10.

How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)?
I was feeling great till I found out! Haha. But in the last week, I have struggled with some nausea and extreme tiredness, and a little spotting. I’m also starving at all times. I have gotten waves of wanting to cry for no reason in the last two days. I have craved banana peppers, fruit, guacamole, and bagels so far, but I can’t stomach the cream cheese or coffee (which are two of my favorite things)
  • If you have uncertainty on readiness of having baby, read some pregnancy books. That works for me. Having the information/knowledge made me feel more confident, instead of relying on other moms’ varies opinions.
  • Hi im Allison
Due date estimated by app 7/8
It was getting close to my period so i figured, "why not disappoint myself again" (we've been trying since February and was starting to worry about infertility). Took a test and it almost instantly showed positive. Immediately started crying out of joy...showed my husband and he jumped out of his office chair and hugged me. This will be our first baby...crossing my fingers it all goes smoothly 🤞.
We have 2 guinea pigs who we adore and spoil so imagine how we'll be with actual babies!
So far not too many symptoms - sore breasts and fatigue. Occasional mild cramping but not too bad, very tolerable. Emotionally, im excited but maybe since im not having other symptoms or see a bump yet (obv too early for that) i dont "feel" pregnant. Is that normal?
  • I thinks you can never really know if you're truly ready! Sometimes you just have to take the leap. I am similar
  • Hi Ladies!

Approx. due date is July 3rd.

A few days before my missed period, I felt a little weird emotionally, so I took a test the next day (at 3w4d) for the hell of it. It was positive! I was expecting it to take years...and it took one try! I took two more tests for the next two days, and they were both positive. Freaking out!!!! (In the best way )

I'm 32, and this is my first (just have a kitty + spouse at home). I live in a teeny apartment, so it will be an adjustment to carve out a nursery nook! None of my close friends have kids yet...so I'm looking for all the advice I can get

Feeling good... a little tired, sense of smell is dialed up 100x, and certain foods seem really gross to me now... Not feeling sick, though. Been experiencing some light cramping, sore boobs, increased thirst, etc.
  • Introduce yourself:

    Due date? 7/16/2023

How did you find out? My period was late, having pregnancy symptoms and just wasn’t feeling good, so my husband told me to take a test and it immediately came up positive.

Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): my first pregnancy, we weren’t really trying but we said if it happened it happened, I’m a RN and he’s a Physician Assistant, we recently got married and just got back from our honeymoon. No Pets, and we are big into fitness that we are up early before work every morning and go for a 3 mile run.

How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)? Shocked, surprised, overwhelmed, nervous.

Hello! My name is Gloria and my est due date is July 4!

My main symptoms have been sore breasts like ALL the time and being tired. I also have a craving for fries.

This is my first baby so I find a lot of support reading this since I have no idea what to expect!

My first ultrasound is scheduled for 11/16
  • Introduce yourself:

Due date? Not sure but this says 7/12/23

How did you find out? Halloween, doctors told us to take a test… morning was negative evening one positive!

Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?):
My hubby and I are both teachers… we’ve struggled with infertility for a year and half and just switched doctors… this is a huge blessing but I am scared to death… so reminding positive is our caveat at the moment… we have two cats (thankfully I’m off litter duty!) their names are Katniss and Finnick! We also just bought a house 6 months ago!

How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)?
Holy boob pain, I instantly cry at sad and happy videos, any string smells make me gag like gasoline, perfumes, nail salons, and now someone outside is has a fire pit going and that’s making me a little nauseous. Today fatigue hit me like a ton of bricks… I have pain from my shots but we’re going to do everything to keep this poppyseed growing!
  • Hey Cat… I feel you so hard core!! Here if you need a worrysome buddy
  • Hi everyone,

Im excited and nervous at the same time. This will be both mine and my husband first. We got married July 23rd 2022, so I guess you can tell we’re still in honeymoon phase.😂 My due date is July 10th according to this app. I kept feeling weird things going on with my stomach for a good week and than it would make noises so loud, that’s what lead me to take a test. I tested positive before my late period. My husband and I are very excited. His face lit up like a kid on Christmas when I surprised him.

Right now im experiencing bloating, light cramping on and off, back pain, nausea, and fatigue.

Introduce yourself: Hi everyone! I’m Jillian. I’m 34 and a first time mama to be!

Due date? I’m due 4th of July!

    How did you find out?

I had been spotting for two days, thought ‘no baby this month’ and then the spotting stopped, decided to take a test before indulging in a glass of wine and it was positive!! No wine for me!

How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)? I’m very bloated…like already considering buying maternity pants! Very sore boobs and have had some nausea in the last week.  Also noticed my hair seems to be falling out at an accelerated rate! 😭
  • Introduce yourself: Hello! I'm Miranda. I'm 28 years-old and this is my first time being pregnant.

Due date: As far as we know until the dating ultrasound, we're looking at the week of July 4! An independent baby

How did you find out: End of September/October was our first month trying so it was on my mind anyways but I was not convinced it could happen so fast. I was wrong! I started to get symptoms very early in the month and I had a sense of being pregnant before I knew. We're wondering if we somehow got pregnant in September (even though I got my period...) so the dating sound will be interesting. I was well past my ovulation when we tried in September, though.

Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): I have no other kids and my partner and I only want one. We do, however, have an amazing fur baby named Tucker. He's very excited to hopefully be a fur brother soon should everything go okay. My husband and I have been together for almost 6 years and just got married a month ago.

How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally): My symptoms are already whack. I'm had nausea on and off throughout October/November. I feel like a friggin' air balloon - SO bloated and gassy. I've had dull aching in my uterus with the occasional sharp pain... I imagine those are like growing pains. No implantation bleeding or spotting. I've had sore boobs since my period in September... they just never went away. And the moods are starting to swing. I spent a lot of Sunday crying over the silliest things. But I'm very grateful to have such a rainbow of symptoms - definitely makes it feel real! There's no questioning if something is going on in there, that's for sure.
  • Due date? 7/3/23

How did you find out? Tested every day once I started feeling cramps when I should've been pms'ing - I never have cramps during pms! Was positive on day 5 of testing.

Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): Married in August, 1 kitty and 1 pup

How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)? Pretty good - variety of symptoms that come and go: sore breasts, cramping, slight acne, twinges of nausea here and there... Already had to take pregnancy safe antibiotics for a UTI! Starting out strong 😂

Hi I'm LaDonna from Alberta Canada.

My due date is July 12 or 13. I took a test when what I thought was my period started weirdly. Turns out it was likely implantation. I'm very regular so was expecting my cycle.

I am probably the odd girl out around here. I am in my early 40s, married for over 20 years, this is my 15th pregnancy. I have 11 living children between the ages of 21 and 2. My current youngest has Down syndrome. We live on a small acreage with cats, dogs, rabbits, potbelly pigs, chickens and goats.

My feelings are so mixed. We were very very done.... after 11.... anyway, I had been looking forward to having my bed, body, life back.... raising adults and bigger kids but now I'm back to diapers and nursing. Having a baby with DS there are worries. Having previous losses, there are concerns. Having so many pregnancies, and being so "old", there are things to consider.

Physically, I'm nauseous. I need to eat more. I was doing intermittent fasting but that appears to no longer be an option. I'm hungry!

    Hi!!

Due date (according to the app) is July 7th!

I am 24 years old! This is our FIRST baby!! We are so excited.

On Halloween, my husband looked at me and said “should we start trying for a baby?” And I said “well I’m technically a day or two late” and so we took a test and we’re SHOCKED it came back positive!!

The only symptoms I have so far Is afternoon nausea, and sore boobs!

I would love all the advice

We are from Auburn, AL. and we have a Brittany spaniel :)
  • Introduce yourself: Hello fellow women-folk ^_^
My name is Kiersten, I’m 32 years old, Capricorn, and I’m from Houston TX.

Due date? : Estimated to be between July 10-13.

How did you find out?: my mother is pre-menopause and every now and then she gets a period. When she does it’s always right after I get mine, like the next couple days. So she hasn’t gotten one for a few months and got one this month. I asked her how she was doing last week and she informed me she was doing much better now that her period was almost over. I thought to myself… how is hers almost over and I haven’t even gotten mine yet? So I checked with a tear I keep under our sink, and boom! Positive. I was shocked. I woke my husband up and said IM PREGNANT! He said “that’s awesome babe.” And fell back to sleep lol.

Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): I’m a model and adult entertainer, Im also a makeup artist so I do makeup for alot of the dancers and models I work with. This year was actually my first year doing makeup at a haunted house as well so I now have special FX makeup under my belt as well. I also teach private fitness pole dance lessons. I have 1 daughter, she is 11, and my husband has two sons 7 and 8.
I also have 2 cats, a black one named Drako and a tricolor calico kitten named Nala.

How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)?
I am on a roller coaster of emotions, we had a miscarriage earlier this year and i am still mentally recovering from it. It was early on but I really wanted the pregnancy and we were really excited to be having a child together. Im excited but im also a bit nervous for this one. I am praying that this is the right time and we will go full term with this pregnancy. Even though we were not expecting to be trying again this soon.
Having to unexpectedly take off work is a pain because BILLS. But I don’t want to risk anything this pregnancy.
