There has been a lot of discussion about baby showers in the weekly check ins so I think it’s a good time to start this thread!

    Will you be having a shower? Yes as it’s our first child and first grandchild of my in-laws. 

    who will be hosting/planning? My best friend/MIL

    what is your ideal baby shower? Something easy with alcohol for those that drink as I always hated going to baby showers and not having anything to drink. I also don’t want to sit in a circle and ooh and ahh over every gift. Need to figure out an easy way to do this.

    Will you be having a shower? Yes, first baby so we’re looking forward to it. I’m due early January so we’re planning for mid-October. 

    Who will be hosting/planning? Mom and sister with some help from SIL.

    What is your ideal baby shower? Saturday afternoon, backyard, fun games, pretty decor, and delicious finger foods. I agree with @anniez85 on the gift opening! Have a feeling that won’t be negotiable for my mom though.
