    I'm hungry all the time!
    Current pregnancy -
First BFP on 1/4/22.  Due date 9/13/22.

Four prior losses, no living children - 1 first trimester miscarriage, 1 blighted ovum, 1 chemical, and one extreme premature live birth daughter who died at 15 days old.

  • @laj0217 yeah I have to force myself to be really conscious to have snacks every two hours so that I hold over until the larger meals - and then need to make sure I don’t overeat at those. Lots of tiny leftovers I leave in the fridge haha. It’s almost like the trickiest part of pregnancy at this point is plan and be time conscious to stay on top of eating without making yourself hungry or overfull.

@millygolitely that’s it exactly. I for sure need to plan better. You’d think packing a lunch I’d do better, but I don’t.
  • Frozen grapes and Frozen banana muffins with mini chocolate chips. Started making again bc my toddler thinks they are ice cream.

I've started my day with Carnations instant breakfast instead of Naked Smoothie and I am really enjoying it. I also realized that I can drink citrus Spindrift again without having iron taste in my mouth!

ETA: Oh my crap! Bread and butter pickles taste just like Swedish pickles!!! And they soothe my 6:30pm aggro nausea!!!!

I am no longer having hot apple cider. As of this week, it doesn’t taste good.
  • @millygolitely it's such a hard balance!
@pangolindrome I tried spindrift for the first time this week - I'm a fan. I picked up a raspberry lime pack, and it's so refreshing!

Greek yogurts with granola are hitting the spot for breakfast. I have all the ingredients to make white chocolate craisin scones, but I don't have the motivation. That's what I really wanted for breakfast. Maybe I'll find the motivation to make them today, so I can have them tomorrow.

I walked into the grocery store in our small town market with the intention of getting a donut to fill my scone craving. I walked out with these… so much for not craving sweets. Looks like that’s out the window now.
  • I want those uncrustables!

  • Curbed my fried food craving with a Chipotle salad today (and chips, duh). I usually get the chicken but tried out the pollo asado today. Review: the pollo asado was tasty and very lime-y, but it didn't slap on the salad. Next time will stick to my usual.
    The chips tho....YUM!
  • @maple1422 uncrustables are my weakness. None of our stores ever have any though. 😩
  • @mnmomma84 Chipotle has been calling my name, but I haven’t given in yet. I’m going to have to find an excuse to drive for 30 min on a lunch break this week….

after buying all those sweets, 4 eclairs and two of the cinnamon streusels was all it took to curb it. I’m going to have to rein it in.
  • Can't stop eating beef sticks. Costco has a big bag of Country Archer mini ones and they're amaze.
  • Stopping in to rave about Bread and Butter pickles again. If I have them around 6pm, my evening nausea is absent!
My husband said I have to put some in a bowl so I don't eat the whole jar (it's Bubbies and we got it at Costco) and I did quick math and pointed out that it's only 800kcal for that huge jar, and I could do much worse. LOL.
  • @pangolindrome
I LOVE bread and butter pickles!! The famous dave's spicy sweet pickles are delish (they were always my favorite in a bloody mary), but my mom also cans and pickles her own and they are SO GOOD! I love having them on a good, old fashioned sloppy joe or a grilled burger with swiss and mushrooms. YUM!

I'm thankful that the Bubbies aren't actually sweet at all, they're mostly vinegar-heavy - it has been a huge sort of cognitive dissonance for me because in Sweden, pickles aren't sweet (neither is relish and my brain REFUSES to accept US relish which is really sad). Neither are pickled beets.

The boy person makes nutrients for CJ.  Scrambled eggs with cheese and ham, vegetable medley with chickpeas, sweet potatoes, and caulifower, some guacamole, and some blueberries.
